10:42
وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ إِلَيْ كَ أَ فَ أَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱل صُّمَّ وَ لَوْ كَانُ وا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear, although they will not use reason?
17:47
نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِ مَا يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ بِ هِۦٓ إِذْ يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ إِلَيْ كَ وَ إِذْ هُمْ نَجْوَىٰٓ إِذْ يَقُولُ ٱل ظَّٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُ ونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَّسْحُورًا
We are most knowing of how they listen to it when they listen to you and [of] when they are in private conversation, when the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."
20:13
وَ أَنَا ٱخْتَرْ تُ كَ فَ ٱسْتَمِعْ لِ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ
And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you].
21:2
مَا يَأْتِي هِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّ هِم مُّحْدَثٍ إِلَّا ٱسْتَمَعُ و هُ وَ هُمْ يَلْعَبُ ونَ
No mention comes to them anew from their Lord except that they listen to it while they are at play
22:73
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل نَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَ ٱسْتَمِعُ وا۟ لَ هُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُ ونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَن يَخْلُقُ وا۟ ذُبَابًا وَ لَوِ ٱجْتَمَعُ وا۟ لَ هُۥ وَ إِن يَسْلُبْ هُمُ ٱل ذُّبَابُ شَيْـًٔا لَّا يَسْتَنقِذُ و هُ مِنْ هُ ضَعُفَ ٱل طَّالِبُ وَ ٱلْ مَطْلُوبُ
O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. And if the fly should steal away from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued.
26:15
قَالَ كَلَّا فَ ٱذْهَبَ ا بِ ـَٔايَٰتِ نَآ إِنَّ ا مَعَ كُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ
[Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening.
26:25
قَالَ لِ مَنْ حَوْلَ هُۥٓ أَ لَا تَسْتَمِعُ ونَ
[Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?"
39:18
ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ ٱلْ قَوْلَ فَ يَتَّبِعُ ونَ أَحْسَنَ هُۥٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَىٰ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْ أَلْبَٰبِ
Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding.
46:29
وَ إِذْ صَرَفْ نَآ إِلَيْ كَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ ٱلْ جِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ ٱلْ قُرْءَانَ فَ لَمَّا حَضَرُ و هُ قَالُ وٓا۟ أَنصِتُ وا۟ فَ لَمَّا قُضِىَ وَلَّ وْا۟ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِ هِم مُّنذِرِينَ
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.
47:16
وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْ كَ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا خَرَجُ وا۟ مِنْ عِندِ كَ قَالُ وا۟ لِ لَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ ٱلْ عِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ ءَانِفًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ هِمْ وَ ٱتَّبَعُ وٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَ هُمْ
And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.
50:41
وَ ٱسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ ٱلْ مُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
And listen on the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near -
52:38
أَمْ لَ هُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ فِي هِ فَ لْ يَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُ هُم بِ سُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority.
6:25
وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْ كَ وَ جَعَلْ نَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ هِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُ و هُ وَ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِ هِمْ وَقْرًا وَ إِن يَرَ وْا۟ كُلَّ ءَايَةٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ وا۟ بِ هَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُ و كَ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ كَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْ أَوَّلِينَ
And among them are those who listen to you, but We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. Even when they come to you arguing with you, those who disbelieve say, "This is not but legends of the former peoples."
72:1
قُلْ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّ هُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ ٱلْ جِنِّ فَ قَالُ وٓا۟ إِنَّ ا سَمِعْ نَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًا
Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an.
72:9
وَ أَنَّ ا كُ نَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْ هَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِ ل سَّمْعِ فَ مَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْ ءَانَ يَجِدْ لَ هُۥ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا
And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.
7:204
وَ إِذَا قُرِئَ ٱلْ قُرْءَانُ فَ ٱسْتَمِعُ وا۟ لَ هُۥ وَ أَنصِتُ وا۟ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تُرْحَمُ ونَ
So when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.
