10:88
وَ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبَّ نَآ إِنَّ كَ ءَاتَيْ تَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَ مَلَأَ هُۥ زِينَةً وَ أَمْوَٰلًا فِى ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا رَبَّ نَا لِ يُضِلُّ وا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ كَ رَبَّ نَا ٱطْمِسْ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْوَٰلِ هِمْ وَ ٱشْدُدْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ هِمْ فَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَرَ وُا۟ ٱلْ عَذَابَ ٱلْ أَلِيمَ
And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment."
13:27
وَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْ هِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّ هِۦ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ يَهْدِىٓ إِلَيْ هِ مَنْ أَنَابَ
And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, Allah leaves astray whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him] -
13:33
أَ فَ مَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍۭ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ جَعَلُ وا۟ لِ لَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلْ سَمُّ و هُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّـُٔ ونَ هُۥ بِ مَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ أَم بِ ظَٰهِرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ قَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ مَكْرُ هُمْ وَ صُدُّ وا۟ عَنِ ٱل سَّبِيلِ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned, [like any other]? But to Allah they have attributed partners. Say, "Name them. Or do you inform Him of that which He knows not upon the earth or of what is apparent of speech?" Rather, their [own] plan has been made attractive to those who disbelieve, and they have been averted from the way. And whomever Allah leaves astray - there will be for him no guide.
14:27
يُثَبِّتُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ قَوْلِ ٱل ثَّابِتِ فِى ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ وَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ وَ يَفْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ
Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills.
14:30
وَ جَعَلُ وا۟ لِ لَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّ يُضِلُّ وا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ هِۦ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُ وا۟ فَ إِنَّ مَصِيرَ كُمْ إِلَى ٱل نَّارِ
And they have attributed to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy yourselves, for indeed, your destination is the Fire."
14:36
رَبِّ إِنَّ هُنَّ أَضْلَلْ نَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱل نَّاسِ فَ مَن تَبِعَ نِى فَ إِنَّ هُۥ مِنِّ ى وَ مَنْ عَصَا نِى فَ إِنَّ كَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful.
14:4
وَ مَآ أَرْسَلْ نَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِ لِسَانِ قَوْمِ هِۦ لِ يُبَيِّنَ لَ هُمْ فَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ وَ هُوَ ٱلْ عَزِيزُ ٱلْ حَكِيمُ
And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
16:25
لِ يَحْمِلُ وٓا۟ أَوْزَارَ هُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ وَ مِنْ أَوْزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّ ونَ هُم بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُ ونَ
That they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection and some of the burdens of those whom they misguide without knowledge. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.
16:37
إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَىٰ هُدَىٰ هُمْ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَن يُضِلُّ وَ مَا لَ هُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ
[Even] if you should strive for their guidance, [O Muhammad], indeed, Allah does not guide those He sends astray, and they will have no helpers.
16:93
وَ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَ جَعَلَ كُمْ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً وَ لَٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ وَ لَ تُسْـَٔلُ نَّ عَ مَّا كُن تُمْ تَعْمَلُ ونَ
And if Allah had willed, He could have made you [of] one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.
17:97
وَ مَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَ هُوَ ٱلْ مُهْتَدِ وَ مَن يُضْلِلْ فَ لَن تَجِدَ لَ هُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ هِۦ وَ نَحْشُرُ هُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِ هِمْ عُمْيًا وَ بُكْمًا وَ صُمًّا مَّأْوَىٰ هُمْ جَهَنَّمُ كُلَّ مَا خَبَتْ زِدْ نَٰ هُمْ سَعِيرًا
And whoever Allah guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - you will never find for them protectors besides Him, and We will gather them on the Day of Resurrection [fallen] on their faces - blind, dumb and deaf. Their refuge is Hell; every time it subsides We increase them in blazing fire.
18:17
وَ تَرَى ٱل شَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَٰوَرُ عَن كَهْفِ هِمْ ذَاتَ ٱلْ يَمِينِ وَ إِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُ هُمْ ذَاتَ ٱل شِّمَالِ وَ هُمْ فِى فَجْوَةٍ مِّنْ هُ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ مَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَ هُوَ ٱلْ مُهْتَدِ وَ مَن يُضْلِلْ فَ لَن تَجِدَ لَ هُۥ وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا
And [had you been present], you would see the sun when it rose, inclining away from their cave on the right, and when it set, passing away from them on the left, while they were [laying] within an open space thereof. That was from the signs of Allah. He whom Allah guides is the [rightly] guided, but he whom He leaves astray - never will you find for him a protecting guide.
18:51
مَّآ أَشْهَد تُّ هُمْ خَلْقَ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ لَا خَلْقَ أَنفُسِ هِمْ وَ مَا كُن تُ مُتَّخِذَ ٱلْ مُضِلِّينَ عَضُدًا
I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the misguiders as assistants.
20:79
وَ أَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَ هُۥ وَ مَا هَدَىٰ
And Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide [them].
20:85
قَالَ فَ إِنَّ ا قَدْ فَتَ نَّا قَوْمَ كَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ كَ وَ أَضَلَّ هُمُ ٱل سَّامِرِىُّ
[Allah] said, "But indeed, We have tried your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has led them astray."
22:4
كُتِبَ عَلَيْ هِ أَنَّ هُۥ مَن تَوَلَّا هُ فَ أَنَّ هُۥ يُضِلُّ هُۥ وَ يَهْدِي هِ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱل سَّعِيرِ
It has been decreed for every devil that whoever turns to him - he will misguide him and will lead him to the punishment of the Blaze.
22:9
ثَانِىَ عِطْفِ هِۦ لِ يُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَ هُۥ فِى ٱل دُّنْيَا خِزْىٌ وَ نُذِيقُ هُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ عَذَابَ ٱلْ حَرِيقِ
Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allah. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said],
25:17
وَ يَوْمَ يَحْشُرُ هُمْ وَ مَا يَعْبُدُ ونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَ يَقُولُ ءَ أَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْ تُمْ عِبَادِ ى هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّ وا۟ ٱل سَّبِيلَ
And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allah and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way?"
25:29
لَّ قَدْ أَضَلَّ نِى عَنِ ٱل ذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَ نِى وَ كَانَ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ لِ لْ إِنسَٰنِ خَذُولًا
He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."
25:42
إِن كَادَ لَ يُضِلُّ نَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِ نَا لَوْلَآ أَن صَبَرْ نَا عَلَيْ هَا وَ سَوْفَ يَعْلَمُ ونَ حِينَ يَرَ وْنَ ٱلْ عَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way.
26:99
وَ مَآ أَضَلَّ نَآ إِلَّا ٱلْ مُجْرِمُونَ
And no one misguided us except the criminals.
28:15
وَ دَخَلَ ٱلْ مَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِ هَا فَ وَجَدَ فِي هَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَ انِ هَٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِ هِۦ وَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّ هِۦ فَ ٱسْتَغَٰثَ هُ ٱلَّذِى مِن شِيعَتِ هِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِى مِنْ عَدُوِّ هِۦ فَ وَكَزَ هُۥ مُوسَىٰ فَ قَضَىٰ عَلَيْ هِ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنِ إِنَّ هُۥ عَدُوٌّ مُّضِلٌّ مُّبِينٌ
And he entered the city at a time of inattention by its people and found therein two men fighting: one from his faction and one from among his enemy. And the one from his faction called for help to him against the one from his enemy, so Moses struck him and [unintentionally] killed him. [Moses] said, "This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy."
2:26
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦٓ أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَ مَا فَوْقَ هَا فَ أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ فَ يَعْلَمُ ونَ أَنَّ هُ ٱلْ حَقُّ مِن رَّبِّ هِمْ وَ أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ فَ يَقُولُ ونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَٰذَا مَثَلًا يُضِلُّ بِ هِۦ كَثِيرًا وَ يَهْدِى بِ هِۦ كَثِيرًا وَ مَا يُضِلُّ بِ هِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلْ فَٰسِقِينَ
Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,
30:29
بَلِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُ وٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَ هُم بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَ مَن يَهْدِى مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ وَ مَا لَ هُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ
But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.
31:6
وَ مِنَ ٱل نَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِى لَهْوَ ٱلْ حَدِيثِ لِ يُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَ يَتَّخِذَ هَا هُزُوًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.
33:67
وَ قَالُ وا۟ رَبَّ نَآ إِنَّ آ أَطَعْ نَا سَادَتَ نَا وَ كُبَرَآءَ نَا فَ أَضَلُّ و نَا ٱل سَّبِيلَا۠
And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.
35:8
أَ فَ مَن زُيِّنَ لَ هُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِ هِۦ فَ رَءَا هُ حَسَنًا فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ فَ لَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُ كَ عَلَيْ هِمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِ مَا يَصْنَعُ ونَ
Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
36:62
وَ لَ قَدْ أَضَلَّ مِن كُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا أَ فَ لَمْ تَكُونُ وا۟ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
38:26
يَٰ دَاوُۥدُ إِنَّ ا جَعَلْ نَٰ كَ خَلِيفَةً فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ فَ ٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱل نَّاسِ بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ لَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْ هَوَىٰ فَ يُضِلَّ كَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّ ونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌۢ بِ مَا نَسُ وا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْ حِسَابِ
[We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.
39:23
ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْ حَدِيثِ كِتَٰبًا مُّتَشَٰبِهًا مَّثَانِىَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْ هُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَ وْنَ رَبَّ هُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُ هُمْ وَ قُلُوبُ هُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِ هِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide.
39:36
أَ لَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِ كَافٍ عَبْدَ هُۥ وَ يُخَوِّفُ ونَ كَ بِ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِ هِۦ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant [Prophet Muhammad]? And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him. And whoever Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide.
39:37
وَ مَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِن مُّضِلٍّ أَ لَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِ عَزِيزٍ ذِى ٱنتِقَامٍ
And whoever Allah guides - for him there is no misleader. Is not Allah Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution?
39:8
وَ إِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْ إِنسَٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّ هُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْ هِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَ هُۥ نِعْمَةً مِّنْ هُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْ هِ مِن قَبْلُ وَ جَعَلَ لِ لَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّ يُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ هِۦ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِ كُفْرِ كَ قَلِيلًا إِنَّ كَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱل نَّارِ
And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire."
3:69
وَدَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ لَوْ يُضِلُّ ونَ كُمْ وَ مَا يُضِلُّ ونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ مَا يَشْعُرُ ونَ
A faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not.
40:33
يَوْمَ تُوَلُّ ونَ مُدْبِرِينَ مَا لَ كُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
The Day you will turn your backs fleeing; there is not for you from Allah any protector. And whoever Allah leaves astray - there is not for him any guide.
40:34
وَ لَ قَدْ جَآءَ كُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِ ٱلْ بَيِّنَٰتِ فَ مَا زِلْ تُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّ مَّا جَآءَ كُم بِ هِۦ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْ تُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِۦ رَسُولًا كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُّرْتَابٌ
And Joseph had already come to you before with clear proofs, but you remained in doubt of that which he brought to you, until when he died, you said, 'Never will Allah send a messenger after him.' Thus does Allah leave astray he who is a transgressor and skeptic."
40:74
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ قَالُ وا۟ ضَلُّ وا۟ عَنَّ ا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْـًٔا كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْ كَٰفِرِينَ
Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers.
41:29
وَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ رَبَّ نَآ أَرِ نَا ٱلَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّ ا نَا مِنَ ٱلْ جِنِّ وَ ٱلْ إِنسِ نَجْعَلْ هُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِ نَا لِ يَكُونَ ا مِنَ ٱلْ أَسْفَلِينَ
And those who disbelieved will [then] say, "Our Lord, show us those who misled us of the jinn and men [so] we may put them under our feet that they will be among the lowest."
42:44
وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِن وَلِىٍّ مِّنۢ بَعْدِ هِۦ وَ تَرَى ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَ وُا۟ ٱلْ عَذَابَ يَقُولُ ونَ هَلْ إِلَىٰ مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ
And he whom Allah sends astray - for him there is no protector beyond Him. And you will see the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment, saying, "Is there for return [to the former world] any way?"
42:46
وَ مَا كَانَ لَ هُم مِّنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ يَنصُرُ ونَ هُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِن سَبِيلٍ
And there will not be for them any allies to aid them other than Allah. And whoever Allah sends astray - for him there is no way.
45:23
أَ فَ رَءَيْ تَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَ هُۥ هَوَىٰ هُ وَ أَضَلَّ هُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ وَ خَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِ هِۦ وَ قَلْبِ هِۦ وَ جَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِ هِۦ غِشَٰوَةً فَ مَن يَهْدِي هِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱللَّهِ أَ فَ لَا تَذَكَّرُ ونَ
Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?
47:1
ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ وَ صَدُّ وا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَٰلَ هُمْ
Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds.
47:4
فَ إِذَا لَقِي تُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ فَ ضَرْبَ ٱل رِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَثْخَن تُمُو هُمْ فَ شُدُّ وا۟ ٱلْ وَثَاقَ فَ إِمَّا مَنًّۢا بَعْدُ وَ إِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ ٱلْ حَرْبُ أَوْزَارَ هَا ذَٰلِكَ وَ لَوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَ ٱنتَصَرَ مِنْ هُمْ وَ لَٰكِن لِّ يَبْلُوَا۟ بَعْضَ كُم بِ بَعْضٍ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُ وا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَ لَن يُضِلَّ أَعْمَٰلَ هُمْ
So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.
47:8
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ فَ تَعْسًا لَّ هُمْ وَ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَٰلَ هُمْ
But those who disbelieve - for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds.
4:113
وَ لَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ كَ وَ رَحْمَتُ هُۥ لَ هَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ هُمْ أَن يُضِلُّ و كَ وَ مَا يُضِلُّ ونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ مَا يَضُرُّ ونَ كَ مِن شَىْءٍ وَ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْ كَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ وَ ٱلْ حِكْمَةَ وَ عَلَّمَ كَ مَا لَمْ تَكُن تَعْلَمُ وَ كَانَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ كَ عَظِيمًا
And if it was not for the favor of Allah upon you, [O Muhammad], and His mercy, a group of them would have determined to mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they will not harm you at all. And Allah has revealed to you the Book and wisdom and has taught you that which you did not know. And ever has the favor of Allah upon you been great.
4:119
وَ لَ أُضِلَّ نَّ هُمْ وَ لَ أُمَنِّيَ نَّ هُمْ وَ لَ ءَامُرَ نَّ هُمْ فَ لَ يُبَتِّكُ نَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلْ أَنْعَٰمِ وَ لَ ءَامُرَ نَّ هُمْ فَ لَ يُغَيِّرُ نَّ خَلْقَ ٱللَّهِ وَ مَن يَتَّخِذِ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَ قَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا
And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss.
4:143
مُّذَبْذَبِينَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ لَآ إِلَىٰ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَ لَآ إِلَىٰ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ لَن تَجِدَ لَ هُۥ سَبِيلًا
Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to the believers nor to the disbelievers. And whoever Allah leaves astray - never will you find for him a way.
4:60
أَ لَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُ ونَ أَنَّ هُمْ ءَامَنُ وا۟ بِ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْ كَ وَ مَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِ كَ يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُ وٓا۟ إِلَى ٱل طَّٰغُوتِ وَ قَدْ أُمِرُ وٓا۟ أَن يَكْفُرُ وا۟ بِ هِۦ وَ يُرِيدُ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّ هُمْ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا
Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.
4:88
فَ مَا لَ كُمْ فِى ٱلْ مُنَٰفِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَ ٱللَّهُ أَرْكَسَ هُم بِ مَا كَسَبُ وٓا۟ أَ تُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَهْدُ وا۟ مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ لَن تَجِدَ لَ هُۥ سَبِيلًا
What is [the matter] with you [that you are] two groups concerning the hypocrites, while Allah has made them fall back [into error and disbelief] for what they earned. Do you wish to guide those whom Allah has sent astray? And he whom Allah sends astray - never will you find for him a way [of guidance].
5:77
قُلْ يَٰٓ أَهْلَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ لَا تَغْلُو ا۟ فِى دِينِ كُمْ غَيْرَ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ لَا تَتَّبِعُ وٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَ قَوْمٍ قَدْ ضَلُّ وا۟ مِن قَبْلُ وَ أَضَلُّ وا۟ كَثِيرًا وَ ضَلُّ وا۟ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱل سَّبِيلِ
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."
6:116
وَ إِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ يُضِلُّ و كَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ إِن يَتَّبِعُ ونَ إِلَّا ٱل ظَّنَّ وَ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُ ونَ
And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying.
6:119
وَ مَا لَ كُمْ أَ لَّا تَأْكُلُ وا۟ مِ مَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ هِ وَ قَدْ فَصَّلَ لَ كُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْ كُمْ إِلَّا مَا ٱضْطُرِرْ تُمْ إِلَيْ هِ وَ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَّ يُضِلُّ ونَ بِ أَهْوَآئِ هِم بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِ ٱلْ مُعْتَدِينَ
And why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors.
6:125
فَ مَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَ هُۥ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَ هُۥ لِ لْ إِسْلَٰمِ وَ مَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّ هُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَ هُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّ مَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱل سَّمَآءِ كَ ذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱل رِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ
So whoever Allah wants to guide - He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe.
6:144
وَ مِنَ ٱلْ إِبِلِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَ مِنَ ٱلْ بَقَرِ ٱثْنَيْنِ قُلْ ءَ آل ذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلْ أُنثَيَيْنِ أَ مَّا ٱشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْ هِ أَرْحَامُ ٱلْ أُنثَيَيْنِ أَمْ كُن تُمْ شُهَدَآءَ إِذْ وَصَّىٰ كُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَٰذَا فَ مَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِ مَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا لِّ يُضِلَّ ٱل نَّاسَ بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْ قَوْمَ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ
And of the camels, two and of the cattle, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Or were you witnesses when Allah charged you with this? Then who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah to mislead the people by [something] other than knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."
6:39
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُ وا۟ بِ ـَٔايَٰتِ نَا صُمٌّ وَ بُكْمٌ فِى ٱل ظُّلُمَٰتِ مَن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يُضْلِلْ هُ وَ مَن يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْ هُ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
But those who deny Our verses are deaf and dumb within darknesses. Whomever Allah wills - He leaves astray; and whomever He wills - He puts him on a straight path.
71:24
وَ قَدْ أَضَلُّ وا۟ كَثِيرًا وَ لَا تَزِدِ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَٰلًا
And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error."
71:27
إِنَّ كَ إِن تَذَرْ هُمْ يُضِلُّ وا۟ عِبَادَ كَ وَ لَا يَلِدُ وٓا۟ إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا
Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever.
74:31
وَ مَا جَعَلْ نَآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱل نَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةً وَ مَا جَعَلْ نَا عِدَّتَ هُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ لِ يَسْتَيْقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ وَ يَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِيمَٰنًا وَ لَا يَرْتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ وَ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنُونَ وَ لِ يَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِ هِم مَّرَضٌ وَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَٰذَا مَثَلًا كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ وَ مَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّ كَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ مَا هِىَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِ لْ بَشَرِ
And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity.
7:155
وَ ٱخْتَارَ مُوسَىٰ قَوْمَ هُۥ سَبْعِينَ رَجُلًا لِّ مِيقَٰتِ نَا فَ لَمَّآ أَخَذَتْ هُمُ ٱل رَّجْفَةُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوْ شِئْ تَ أَهْلَكْ تَ هُم مِّن قَبْلُ وَ إِيَّٰىَ أَ تُهْلِكُ نَا بِ مَا فَعَلَ ٱل سُّفَهَآءُ مِنَّ آ إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا فِتْنَتُ كَ تُضِلُّ بِ هَا مَن تَشَآءُ وَ تَهْدِى مَن تَشَآءُ أَنتَ وَلِيُّ نَا فَ ٱغْفِرْ لَ نَا وَ ٱرْحَمْ نَا وَ أَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْ غَٰفِرِينَ
And Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment. And when the earthquake seized them, he said, "My Lord, if You had willed, You could have destroyed them before and me [as well]. Would You destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? This is not but Your trial by which You send astray whom You will and guide whom You will. You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy upon us; and You are the best of forgivers.
7:178
مَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَ هُوَ ٱلْ مُهْتَدِى وَ مَن يُضْلِلْ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Whoever Allah guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - it is those who are the losers.
7:186
مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ لَا هَادِىَ لَ هُۥ وَ يَذَرُ هُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِ هِمْ يَعْمَهُ ونَ
Whoever Allah sends astray - there is no guide for him. And He leaves them in their transgression, wandering blindly.
7:38
قَالَ ٱدْخُلُ وا۟ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِ كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ جِنِّ وَ ٱلْ إِنسِ فِى ٱل نَّارِ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَتْ أُمَّةٌ لَّعَنَتْ أُخْتَ هَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ٱدَّارَكُ وا۟ فِي هَا جَمِيعًا قَالَتْ أُخْرَىٰ هُمْ لِ أُولَىٰ هُمْ رَبَّ نَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَضَلُّ و نَا فَ ـَٔاتِ هِمْ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا مِّنَ ٱل نَّارِ قَالَ لِ كُلٍّ ضِعْفٌ وَ لَٰكِن لَّا تَعْلَمُ ونَ
[Allah] will say, "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of jinn and mankind into the Fire." Every time a nation enters, it will curse its sister until, when they have all overtaken one another therein, the last of them will say about the first of them "Our Lord, these had misled us, so give them a double punishment of the Fire. He will say, "For each is double, but you do not know."
9:115
وَ مَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِ يُضِلَّ قَوْمًۢا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَىٰ هُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَ هُم مَّا يَتَّقُ ونَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
And Allah would not let a people stray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should avoid. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.
