13:22
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُ وا۟ ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّ هِمْ وَ أَقَامُ وا۟ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ أَنفَقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ سِرًّا وَ عَلَانِيَةً وَ يَدْرَءُ ونَ بِ ٱلْ حَسَنَةِ ٱل سَّيِّئَةَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَ هُمْ عُقْبَى ٱل دَّارِ
And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home -
14:31
قُل لِّ عِبَادِ ىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ يُقِيمُ وا۟ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ يُنفِقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ سِرًّا وَ عَلَانِيَةً مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِي هِ وَ لَا خِلَٰلٌ
[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships.
16:75
ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبْدًا مَّمْلُوكًا لَّا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ وَ مَن رَّزَقْ نَٰ هُ مِنَّ ا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَ هُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْ هُ سِرًّا وَ جَهْرًا هَلْ يَسْتَ وُۥنَ ٱلْ حَمْدُ لِ لَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُ هُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُ ونَ
Allah presents an example: a slave [who is] owned and unable to do a thing and he to whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly. Can they be equal? Praise to Allah! But most of them do not know.
17:100
قُل لَّوْ أَنتُمْ تَمْلِكُ ونَ خَزَآئِنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّ ىٓ إِذًا لَّ أَمْسَكْ تُمْ خَشْيَةَ ٱلْ إِنفَاقِ وَ كَانَ ٱلْ إِنسَٰنُ قَتُورًا
Say [to them], "If you possessed the depositories of the mercy of my Lord, then you would withhold out of fear of spending." And ever has man been stingy.
18:42
وَ أُحِيطَ بِ ثَمَرِ هِۦ فَ أَصْبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيْ هِ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنفَقَ فِي هَا وَ هِىَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِ هَا وَ يَقُولُ يَٰ لَيْتَ نِى لَمْ أُشْرِكْ بِ رَبِّ ىٓ أَحَدًا
And his fruits were encompassed [by ruin], so he began to turn his hands about [in dismay] over what he had spent on it, while it had collapsed upon its trellises, and said, "Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone."
22:35
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُ هُمْ وَ ٱل صَّٰبِرِينَ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَ هُمْ وَ ٱلْ مُقِيمِى ٱل صَّلَوٰةِ وَ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ يُنفِقُ ونَ
Who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and [to] the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them.
25:67
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُ وا۟ لَمْ يُسْرِفُ وا۟ وَ لَمْ يَقْتُرُ وا۟ وَ كَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًا
And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate
28:54
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْتَ وْنَ أَجْرَ هُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِ مَا صَبَرُ وا۟ وَ يَدْرَءُ ونَ بِ ٱلْ حَسَنَةِ ٱل سَّيِّئَةَ وَ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ يُنفِقُ ونَ
Those will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured and [because] they avert evil through good, and from what We have provided them they spend.
2:195
وَ أَنفِقُ وا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَ لَا تُلْقُ وا۟ بِ أَيْدِي كُمْ إِلَى ٱل تَّهْلُكَةِ وَ أَحْسِنُ وٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْ مُحْسِنِينَ
And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.
2:215
يَسْـَٔلُ ونَ كَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُ ونَ قُلْ مَآ أَنفَقْ تُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَ لِ لْ وَٰلِدَيْنِ وَ ٱلْ أَقْرَبِينَ وَ ٱلْ يَتَٰمَىٰ وَ ٱلْ مَسَٰكِينِ وَ ٱبْنِ ٱل سَّبِيلِ وَ مَا تَفْعَلُ وا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ هِۦ عَلِيمٌ
They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."
2:219
يَسْـَٔلُ ونَ كَ عَنِ ٱلْ خَمْرِ وَ ٱلْ مَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِي هِمَآ إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ وَ مَنَٰفِعُ لِ ل نَّاسِ وَ إِثْمُ هُمَآ أَكْبَرُ مِن نَّفْعِ هِمَا وَ يَسْـَٔلُ ونَ كَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُ ونَ قُلِ ٱلْ عَفْوَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَ كُمُ ٱلْ ءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُ ونَ
They ask you about wine and gambling. Say, "In them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit." And they ask you what they should spend. Say, "The excess [beyond needs]." Thus Allah makes clear to you the verses [of revelation] that you might give thought.
2:254
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ أَنفِقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ كُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِي هِ وَ لَا خُلَّةٌ وَ لَا شَفَٰعَةٌ وَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرُونَ هُمُ ٱل ظَّٰلِمُونَ
O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you before there comes a Day in which there is no exchange and no friendship and no intercession. And the disbelievers - they are the wrongdoers.
2:261
مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُ ونَ أَمْوَٰلَ هُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ كَ مَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِى كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةٍ مِّا۟ئَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَ ٱللَّهُ يُضَٰعِفُ لِ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ ٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
2:262
ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُ ونَ أَمْوَٰلَ هُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ لَا يُتْبِعُ ونَ مَآ أَنفَقُ وا۟ مَنًّا وَ لَآ أَذًى لَّ هُمْ أَجْرُ هُمْ عِندَ رَبِّ هِمْ وَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْ هِمْ وَ لَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُ ونَ
Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and then do not follow up what they have spent with reminders [of it] or [other] injury will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
2:264
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ لَا تُبْطِلُ وا۟ صَدَقَٰتِ كُم بِ ٱلْ مَنِّ وَ ٱلْ أَذَىٰ كَ ٱلَّذِى يُنفِقُ مَالَ هُۥ رِئَآءَ ٱل نَّاسِ وَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ فَ مَثَلُ هُۥ كَ مَثَلِ صَفْوَانٍ عَلَيْ هِ تُرَابٌ فَ أَصَابَ هُۥ وَابِلٌ فَ تَرَكَ هُۥ صَلْدًا لَّا يَقْدِرُ ونَ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ مِّ مَّا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ ٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْ قَوْمَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرِينَ
O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
2:265
وَ مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُ ونَ أَمْوَٰلَ هُمُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ وَ تَثْبِيتًا مِّنْ أَنفُسِ هِمْ كَ مَثَلِ جَنَّةٍۭ بِ رَبْوَةٍ أَصَابَ هَا وَابِلٌ فَ ـَٔاتَتْ أُكُلَ هَا ضِعْفَيْنِ فَ إِن لَّمْ يُصِبْ هَا وَابِلٌ فَ طَلٌّ وَ ٱللَّهُ بِ مَا تَعْمَلُ ونَ بَصِيرٌ
And the example of those who spend their wealth seeking means to the approval of Allah and assuring [reward for] themselves is like a garden on high ground which is hit by a downpour - so it yields its fruits in double. And [even] if it is not hit by a downpour, then a drizzle [is sufficient]. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.
2:267
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ أَنفِقُ وا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا كَسَبْ تُمْ وَ مِ مَّآ أَخْرَجْ نَا لَ كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ لَا تَيَمَّمُ وا۟ ٱلْ خَبِيثَ مِنْ هُ تُنفِقُ ونَ وَ لَسْ تُم بِ ـَٔاخِذِي هِ إِلَّآ أَن تُغْمِضُ وا۟ فِي هِ وَ ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ
O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
2:270
وَ مَآ أَنفَقْ تُم مِّن نَّفَقَةٍ أَوْ نَذَرْ تُم مِّن نَّذْرٍ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ هُۥ وَ مَا لِ ل ظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ
And whatever you spend of expenditures or make of vows - indeed, Allah knows of it. And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
2:272
لَّيْسَ عَلَيْ كَ هُدَىٰ هُمْ وَ لَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ وَ مَا تُنفِقُ وا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَ لِ أَنفُسِ كُمْ وَ مَا تُنفِقُ ونَ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ وَ مَا تُنفِقُ وا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْ كُمْ وَ أَنتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُ ونَ
Not upon you, [O Muhammad], is [responsibility for] their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills. And whatever good you [believers] spend is for yourselves, and you do not spend except seeking the countenance of Allah. And whatever you spend of good - it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.
2:273
لِ لْ فُقَرَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أُحْصِرُ وا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ ونَ ضَرْبًا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ يَحْسَبُ هُمُ ٱلْ جَاهِلُ أَغْنِيَآءَ مِنَ ٱل تَّعَفُّفِ تَعْرِفُ هُم بِ سِيمَٰ هُمْ لَا يَسْـَٔلُ ونَ ٱل نَّاسَ إِلْحَافًا وَ مَا تُنفِقُ وا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ هِۦ عَلِيمٌ
[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allah, unable to move about in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you will know them by their [characteristic] sign. They do not ask people persistently [or at all]. And whatever you spend of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.
2:274
ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُ ونَ أَمْوَٰلَ هُم بِ ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ ٱل نَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَ عَلَانِيَةً فَ لَ هُمْ أَجْرُ هُمْ عِندَ رَبِّ هِمْ وَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْ هِمْ وَ لَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُ ونَ
Those who spend their wealth [in Allah 's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
2:3
ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُ ونَ بِ ٱلْ غَيْبِ وَ يُقِيمُ ونَ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ يُنفِقُ ونَ
Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them,
32:16
تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُ هُمْ عَنِ ٱلْ مَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُ ونَ رَبَّ هُمْ خَوْفًا وَ طَمَعًا وَ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ يُنفِقُ ونَ
They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
34:39
قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّ ى يَبْسُطُ ٱل رِّزْقَ لِ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِ هِۦ وَ يَقْدِرُ لَ هُۥ وَ مَآ أَنفَقْ تُم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَ هُوَ يُخْلِفُ هُۥ وَ هُوَ خَيْرُ ٱل رَّٰزِقِينَ
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers."
35:29
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتْلُ ونَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَ أَقَامُ وا۟ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ أَنفَقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ سِرًّا وَ عَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُ ونَ تِجَٰرَةً لَّن تَبُورَ
Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish -
36:47
وَ إِذَا قِيلَ لَ هُمْ أَنفِقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا رَزَقَ كُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ لِ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ أَ نُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَ هُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allah has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error."
3:117
مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُ ونَ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا كَ مَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِي هَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ فَ أَهْلَكَتْ هُ وَ مَا ظَلَمَ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَ لَٰكِنْ أَنفُسَ هُمْ يَظْلِمُ ونَ
The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like that of a wind containing frost which strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves and destroys it. And Allah has not wronged them, but they wrong themselves.
3:134
ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُ ونَ فِى ٱل سَّرَّآءِ وَ ٱل ضَّرَّآءِ وَ ٱلْ كَٰظِمِينَ ٱلْ غَيْظَ وَ ٱلْ عَافِينَ عَنِ ٱل نَّاسِ وَ ٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْ مُحْسِنِينَ
Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;
3:17
ٱل صَّٰبِرِينَ وَ ٱل صَّٰدِقِينَ وَ ٱلْ قَٰنِتِينَ وَ ٱلْ مُنفِقِينَ وَ ٱلْ مُسْتَغْفِرِينَ بِ ٱلْ أَسْحَارِ
The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
3:92
لَن تَنَالُ وا۟ ٱلْ بِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا تُحِبُّ ونَ وَ مَا تُنفِقُ وا۟ مِن شَىْءٍ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ هِۦ عَلِيمٌ
Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.
42:38
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَجَابُ وا۟ لِ رَبِّ هِمْ وَ أَقَامُ وا۟ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ أَمْرُ هُمْ شُورَىٰ بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ يُنفِقُ ونَ
And those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
47:38
هَٰٓ أَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدْعَ وْنَ لِ تُنفِقُ وا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَ مِن كُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ وَ مَن يَبْخَلْ فَ إِنَّ مَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِ هِۦ وَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْ غَنِىُّ وَ أَنتُمُ ٱلْ فُقَرَآءُ وَ إِن تَتَوَلَّ وْا۟ يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَ كُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُ وٓا۟ أَمْثَٰلَ كُم
Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.
4:34
ٱل رِّجَالُ قَوَّٰمُونَ عَلَى ٱل نِّسَآءِ بِ مَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بَعْضَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَ بِ مَآ أَنفَقُ وا۟ مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِ هِمْ فَ ٱل صَّٰلِحَٰتُ قَٰنِتَٰتٌ حَٰفِظَٰتٌ لِّ لْ غَيْبِ بِ مَا حَفِظَ ٱللَّهُ وَ ٱلَّٰتِى تَخَافُ ونَ نُشُوزَ هُنَّ فَ عِظُ و هُنَّ وَ ٱهْجُرُ و هُنَّ فِى ٱلْ مَضَاجِعِ وَ ٱضْرِبُ و هُنَّ فَ إِنْ أَطَعْ نَ كُمْ فَ لَا تَبْغُ وا۟ عَلَيْ هِنَّ سَبِيلًا إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا
Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.
4:38
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُ ونَ أَمْوَٰلَ هُمْ رِئَآءَ ٱل نَّاسِ وَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ لَا بِ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ وَ مَن يَكُنِ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ لَ هُۥ قَرِينًا فَ سَآءَ قَرِينًا
And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.
4:39
وَ مَاذَا عَلَيْ هِمْ لَوْ ءَامَنُ وا۟ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ وَ أَنفَقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا رَزَقَ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَ كَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هِمْ عَلِيمًا
And what [harm would come] upon them if they believed in Allah and the Last Day and spent out of what Allah provided for them? And Allah is ever, about them, Knowing.
57:10
وَ مَا لَ كُمْ أَ لَّا تُنفِقُ وا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَ لِ لَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ لَا يَسْتَوِى مِن كُم مَّنْ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبْلِ ٱلْ فَتْحِ وَ قَٰتَلَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنفَقُ وا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدُ وَ قَٰتَلُ وا۟ وَ كُلًّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْ حُسْنَىٰ وَ ٱللَّهُ بِ مَا تَعْمَلُ ونَ خَبِيرٌ
And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah, with what you do, is Acquainted.
57:7
ءَامِنُ وا۟ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ رَسُولِ هِۦ وَ أَنفِقُ وا۟ مِ مَّا جَعَلَ كُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِي هِ فَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ مِن كُمْ وَ أَنفَقُ وا۟ لَ هُمْ أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward.
5:64
وَ قَالَتِ ٱلْ يَهُودُ يَدُ ٱللَّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِي هِمْ وَ لُعِنُ وا۟ بِ مَا قَالُ وا۟ بَلْ يَدَا هُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ وَ لَ يَزِيدَ نَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْ هُم مَّآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْ كَ مِن رَّبِّ كَ طُغْيَٰنًا وَ كُفْرًا وَ أَلْقَيْ نَا بَيْنَ هُمُ ٱلْ عَدَٰوَةَ وَ ٱلْ بَغْضَآءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ كُلَّمَآ أَوْقَدُ وا۟ نَارًا لِّ لْ حَرْبِ أَطْفَأَ هَا ٱللَّهُ وَ يَسْعَ وْنَ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ فَسَادًا وَ ٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْ مُفْسِدِينَ
And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.
60:10
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِذَا جَآءَ كُمُ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنَٰتُ مُهَٰجِرَٰتٍ فَ ٱمْتَحِنُ و هُنَّ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِ إِيمَٰنِ هِنَّ فَ إِنْ عَلِمْ تُمُو هُنَّ مُؤْمِنَٰتٍ فَ لَا تَرْجِعُ و هُنَّ إِلَى ٱلْ كُفَّارِ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّ هُمْ وَ لَا هُمْ يَحِلُّ ونَ لَ هُنَّ وَ ءَاتُ و هُم مَّآ أَنفَقُ وا۟ وَ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْ كُمْ أَن تَنكِحُ و هُنَّ إِذَآ ءَاتَيْ تُمُو هُنَّ أُجُورَ هُنَّ وَ لَا تُمْسِكُ وا۟ بِ عِصَمِ ٱلْ كَوَافِرِ وَ سْـَٔلُ وا۟ مَآ أَنفَقْ تُمْ وَ لْ يَسْـَٔلُ وا۟ مَآ أَنفَقُ وا۟ ذَٰلِكُمْ حُكْمُ ٱللَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ كُمْ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
60:11
وَ إِن فَاتَ كُمْ شَىْءٌ مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِ كُمْ إِلَى ٱلْ كُفَّارِ فَ عَاقَبْ تُمْ فَ ـَٔاتُ وا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَٰجُ هُم مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنفَقُ وا۟ وَ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنتُم بِ هِۦ مُؤْمِنُونَ
And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah, in whom you are believers.
63:10
وَ أَنفِقُ وا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ كُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَ كُمُ ٱلْ مَوْتُ فَ يَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْ تَ نِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَ أَصَّدَّقَ وَ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱل صَّٰلِحِينَ
And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous."
63:7
هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُ ونَ لَا تُنفِقُ وا۟ عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّ وا۟ وَ لِ لَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ لَٰكِنَّ ٱلْ مُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُ ونَ
They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.
64:16
فَ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْ تُمْ وَ ٱسْمَعُ وا۟ وَ أَطِيعُ وا۟ وَ أَنفِقُ وا۟ خَيْرًا لِّ أَنفُسِ كُمْ وَ مَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِ هِۦ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ مُفْلِحُونَ
So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.
65:6
أَسْكِنُ و هُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَن تُم مِّن وُجْدِ كُمْ وَ لَا تُضَآرُّ و هُنَّ لِ تُضَيِّقُ وا۟ عَلَيْ هِنَّ وَ إِن كُ نَّ أُو۟لَٰتِ حَمْلٍ فَ أَنفِقُ وا۟ عَلَيْ هِنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَضَعْ نَ حَمْلَ هُنَّ فَ إِنْ أَرْضَعْ نَ لَ كُمْ فَ ـَٔاتُ و هُنَّ أُجُورَ هُنَّ وَ أْتَمِرُ وا۟ بَيْنَ كُم بِ مَعْرُوفٍ وَ إِن تَعَاسَرْ تُمْ فَ سَ تُرْضِعُ لَ هُۥٓ أُخْرَىٰ
Lodge them [in a section] of where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them. And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they give birth. And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for the father another woman.
65:7
لِ يُنفِقْ ذُو سَعَةٍ مِّن سَعَتِ هِۦ وَ مَن قُدِرَ عَلَيْ هِ رِزْقُ هُۥ فَ لْ يُنفِقْ مِ مَّآ ءَاتَىٰ هُ ٱللَّهُ لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا مَآ ءَاتَىٰ هَا سَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا
Let a man of wealth spend from his wealth, and he whose provision is restricted - let him spend from what Allah has given him. Allah does not charge a soul except [according to] what He has given it. Allah will bring about, after hardship, ease.
8:3
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُ ونَ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ مِ مَّا رَزَقْ نَٰ هُمْ يُنفِقُ ونَ
The ones who establish prayer, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
8:36
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ يُنفِقُ ونَ أَمْوَٰلَ هُمْ لِ يَصُدُّ وا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَ سَ يُنفِقُ ونَ هَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْ هِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُ ونَ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُ ونَ
Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah. So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved - unto Hell they will be gathered.
8:60
وَ أَعِدُّ وا۟ لَ هُم مَّا ٱسْتَطَعْ تُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَ مِن رِّبَاطِ ٱلْ خَيْلِ تُرْهِبُ ونَ بِ هِۦ عَدُوَّ ٱللَّهِ وَ عَدُوَّ كُمْ وَ ءَاخَرِينَ مِن دُونِ هِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُ ونَ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ هُمْ وَ مَا تُنفِقُ وا۟ مِن شَىْءٍ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْ كُمْ وَ أَنتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُ ونَ
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.
8:63
وَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِ هِمْ لَوْ أَنفَقْ تَ مَا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَّآ أَلَّفْ تَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِ هِمْ وَ لَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَ هُمْ إِنَّ هُۥ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise.
9:121
وَ لَا يُنفِقُ ونَ نَفَقَةً صَغِيرَةً وَ لَا كَبِيرَةً وَ لَا يَقْطَعُ ونَ وَادِيًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَ هُمْ لِ يَجْزِيَ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَعْمَلُ ونَ
Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing.
9:34
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلْ أَحْبَارِ وَ ٱل رُّهْبَانِ لَ يَأْكُلُ ونَ أَمْوَٰلَ ٱل نَّاسِ بِ ٱلْ بَٰطِلِ وَ يَصُدُّ ونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُ ونَ ٱل ذَّهَبَ وَ ٱلْ فِضَّةَ وَ لَا يُنفِقُ ونَ هَا فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَ بَشِّرْ هُم بِ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
9:53
قُلْ أَنفِقُ وا۟ طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا لَّن يُتَقَبَّلَ مِن كُمْ إِنَّ كُمْ كُن تُمْ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ
Say, "Spend willingly or unwillingly; never will it be accepted from you. Indeed, you have been a defiantly disobedient people."
9:54
وَ مَا مَنَعَ هُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْ هُمْ نَفَقَٰتُ هُمْ إِلَّآ أَنَّ هُمْ كَفَرُ وا۟ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ بِ رَسُولِ هِۦ وَ لَا يَأْتُ ونَ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَ هُمْ كُسَالَىٰ وَ لَا يُنفِقُ ونَ إِلَّا وَ هُمْ كَٰرِهُونَ
And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling.
9:91
لَّيْسَ عَلَى ٱل ضُّعَفَآءِ وَ لَا عَلَى ٱلْ مَرْضَىٰ وَ لَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُ ونَ مَا يُنفِقُ ونَ حَرَجٌ إِذَا نَصَحُ وا۟ لِ لَّهِ وَ رَسُولِ هِۦ مَا عَلَى ٱلْ مُحْسِنِينَ مِن سَبِيلٍ وَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
There is not upon the weak or upon the ill or upon those who do not find anything to spend any discomfort when they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is not upon the doers of good any cause [for blame]. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
9:92
وَ لَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا مَآ أَتَ وْ كَ لِ تَحْمِلَ هُمْ قُلْ تَ لَآ أَجِدُ مَآ أَحْمِلُ كُمْ عَلَيْ هِ تَوَلَّ وا۟ وَّ أَعْيُنُ هُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱل دَّمْعِ حَزَنًا أَ لَّا يَجِدُ وا۟ مَا يُنفِقُ ونَ
Nor [is there blame] upon those who, when they came to you that you might give them mounts, you said, "I can find nothing for you to ride upon." They turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not find something to spend [for the cause of Allah].
9:98
وَ مِنَ ٱلْ أَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَ يَتَرَبَّصُ بِ كُمُ ٱل دَّوَآئِرَ عَلَيْ هِمْ دَآئِرَةُ ٱل سَّوْءِ وَ ٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
And among the bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
9:99
وَ مِنَ ٱلْ أَعْرَابِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ وَ يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَٰتٍ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَ صَلَوَٰتِ ٱل رَّسُولِ أَلَآ إِنَّ هَا قُرْبَةٌ لَّ هُمْ سَ يُدْخِلُ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى رَحْمَتِ هِۦٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of [obtaining] invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
