10:27
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُ وا۟ ٱل سَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةٍۭ بِ مِثْلِ هَا وَ تَرْهَقُ هُمْ ذِلَّةٌ مَّا لَ هُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ كَأَنَّ مَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُ هُمْ قِطَعًا مِّنَ ٱلَّ يْلِ مُظْلِمًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱل نَّارِ هُمْ فِي هَا خَٰلِدُونَ
But they who have earned [blame for] evil doings - the recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them. They will have from Allah no protector. It will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night - so dark [are they]. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
2:20
يَكَادُ ٱلْ بَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَٰرَ هُمْ كُلَّمَآ أَضَآءَ لَ هُم مَّشَ وْا۟ فِي هِ وَ إِذَآ أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْ هِمْ قَامُ وا۟ وَ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَ ذَهَبَ بِ سَمْعِ هِمْ وَ أَبْصَٰرِ هِمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
36:37
وَ ءَايَةٌ لَّ هُمُ ٱلَّ يْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْ هُ ٱل نَّهَارَ فَ إِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.
