10:107
وَ إِن يَمْسَسْ كَ ٱللَّهُ بِ ضُرٍّ فَ لَا كَاشِفَ لَ هُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ إِن يُرِدْ كَ بِ خَيْرٍ فَ لَا رَآدَّ لِ فَضْلِ هِۦ يُصِيبُ بِ هِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِ هِۦ وَ هُوَ ٱلْ غَفُورُ ٱل رَّحِيمُ
And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful
11:107
خَٰلِدِينَ فِي هَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّ كَ إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ فَعَّالٌ لِّ مَا يُرِيدُ
[They will be] abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will. Indeed, your Lord is an effecter of what He intends.
11:15
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةَ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ زِينَتَ هَا نُوَفِّ إِلَيْ هِمْ أَعْمَٰلَ هُمْ فِي هَا وَ هُمْ فِي هَا لَا يُبْخَسُ ونَ
Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived.
11:34
وَ لَا يَنفَعُ كُمْ نُصْحِ ىٓ إِنْ أَرَد تُّ أَنْ أَنصَحَ لَ كُمْ إِن كَانَ ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يُغْوِيَ كُمْ هُوَ رَبُّ كُمْ وَ إِلَيْ هِ تُرْجَعُ ونَ
And my advice will not benefit you - although I wished to advise you - If Allah should intend to put you in error. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned."
11:79
قَالُ وا۟ لَ قَدْ عَلِمْ تَ مَا لَ نَا فِى بَنَاتِ كَ مِنْ حَقٍّ وَ إِنَّ كَ لَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ
They said, "You have already known that we have not concerning your daughters any claim, and indeed, you know what we want."
11:88
قَالَ يَٰ قَوْمِ أَ رَءَيْ تُمْ إِن كُن تُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّ ى وَ رَزَقَ نِى مِنْ هُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا وَ مَآ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُخَالِفَ كُمْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنْهَىٰ كُمْ عَنْ هُ إِنْ أُرِيدُ إِلَّا ٱلْ إِصْلَٰحَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْ تُ وَ مَا تَوْفِيقِ ىٓ إِلَّا بِ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ هِ تَوَكَّلْ تُ وَ إِلَيْ هِ أُنِيبُ
He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him...? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.
12:25
وَ ٱسْتَبَقَ ا ٱلْ بَابَ وَ قَدَّتْ قَمِيصَ هُۥ مِن دُبُرٍ وَ أَلْفَيَ ا سَيِّدَ هَا لَدَا ٱلْ بَابِ قَالَتْ مَا جَزَآءُ مَنْ أَرَادَ بِ أَهْلِ كَ سُوٓءًا إِلَّآ أَن يُسْجَنَ أَوْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment?"
13:11
لَ هُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٌ مِّنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْ هِ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِ هِۦ يَحْفَظُ ونَ هُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُ وا۟ مَا بِ أَنفُسِ هِمْ وَ إِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِ قَوْمٍ سُوٓءًا فَ لَا مَرَدَّ لَ هُۥ وَ مَا لَ هُم مِّن دُونِ هِۦ مِن وَالٍ
For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.
14:10
قَالَتْ رُسُلُ هُمْ أَ فِى ٱللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ يَدْعُو كُمْ لِ يَغْفِرَ لَ كُم مِّن ذُنُوبِ كُمْ وَ يُؤَخِّرَ كُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى قَالُ وٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُ نَا تُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَصُدُّ و نَا عَ مَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُ نَا فَ أْتُ و نَا بِ سُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."
16:40
إِنَّ مَا قَوْلُ نَا لِ شَىْءٍ إِذَآ أَرَدْ نَٰ هُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَ هُۥ كُن فَ يَكُونُ
Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, "Be," and it is.
17:103
فَ أَرَادَ أَن يَسْتَفِزَّ هُم مِّنَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ فَ أَغْرَقْ نَٰ هُ وَ مَن مَّعَ هُۥ جَمِيعًا
So he intended to drive them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him all together.
17:16
وَ إِذَآ أَرَدْ نَآ أَن نُّهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْ نَا مُتْرَفِي هَا فَ فَسَقُ وا۟ فِي هَا فَ حَقَّ عَلَيْ هَا ٱلْ قَوْلُ فَ دَمَّرْ نَٰ هَا تَدْمِيرًا
And when We intend to destroy a city, We command its affluent but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word comes into effect upon it, and We destroy it with [complete] destruction.
17:18
مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْ عَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلْ نَا لَ هُۥ فِي هَا مَا نَشَآءُ لِ مَن نُّرِيدُ ثُمَّ جَعَلْ نَا لَ هُۥ جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَىٰ هَا مَذْمُومًا مَّدْحُورًا
Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished.
17:19
وَ مَنْ أَرَادَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةَ وَ سَعَىٰ لَ هَا سَعْيَ هَا وَ هُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُ هُم مَّشْكُورًا
But whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effort due to it while he is a believer - it is those whose effort is ever appreciated [by Allah].
18:28
وَ ٱصْبِرْ نَفْسَ كَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُ ونَ رَبَّ هُم بِ ٱلْ غَدَوٰةِ وَ ٱلْ عَشِىِّ يُرِيدُ ونَ وَجْهَ هُۥ وَ لَا تَعْدُ عَيْنَا كَ عَنْ هُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ لَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْ نَا قَلْبَ هُۥ عَن ذِكْرِ نَا وَ ٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰ هُ وَ كَانَ أَمْرُ هُۥ فُرُطًا
And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect.
18:77
فَ ٱنطَلَقَ ا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَيَ آ أَهْلَ قَرْيَةٍ ٱسْتَطْعَمَ آ أَهْلَ هَا فَ أَبَ وْا۟ أَن يُضَيِّفُ و هُمَا فَ وَجَدَ ا فِي هَا جِدَارًا يُرِيدُ أَن يَنقَضَّ فَ أَقَامَ هُۥ قَالَ لَوْ شِئْ تَ لَ تَّخَذْ تَ عَلَيْ هِ أَجْرًا
So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so al-Khidh r restored it. [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment."
18:79
أَمَّا ٱل سَّفِينَةُ فَ كَانَتْ لِ مَسَٰكِينَ يَعْمَلُ ونَ فِى ٱلْ بَحْرِ فَ أَرَد تُّ أَنْ أَعِيبَ هَا وَ كَانَ وَرَآءَ هُم مَّلِكٌ يَأْخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَصْبًا
As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force.
18:81
فَ أَرَدْ نَآ أَن يُبْدِلَ هُمَا رَبُّ هُمَا خَيْرًا مِّنْ هُ زَكَوٰةً وَ أَقْرَبَ رُحْمًا
So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.
18:82
وَ أَمَّا ٱلْ جِدَارُ فَ كَانَ لِ غُلَٰمَيْنِ يَتِيمَيْنِ فِى ٱلْ مَدِينَةِ وَ كَانَ تَحْتَ هُۥ كَنزٌ لَّ هُمَا وَ كَانَ أَبُو هُمَا صَٰلِحًا فَ أَرَادَ رَبُّ كَ أَن يَبْلُغَ آ أَشُدَّ هُمَا وَ يَسْتَخْرِجَ ا كَنزَ هُمَا رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّ كَ وَ مَا فَعَلْ تُ هُۥ عَنْ أَمْرِ ى ذَٰلِكَ تَأْوِيلُ مَا لَمْ تَسْطِع عَّلَيْ هِ صَبْرًا
And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience."
20:63
قَالُ وٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَٰنِ لَ سَٰحِرَٰنِ يُرِيدَ انِ أَن يُخْرِجَ ا كُم مِّنْ أَرْضِ كُم بِ سِحْرِ هِمَا وَ يَذْهَبَ ا بِ طَرِيقَتِ كُمُ ٱلْ مُثْلَىٰ
They said, "Indeed, these are two magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your most exemplary way.
20:86
فَ رَجَعَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِ هِۦ غَضْبَٰنَ أَسِفًا قَالَ يَٰ قَوْمِ أَ لَمْ يَعِدْ كُمْ رَبُّ كُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا أَ فَ طَالَ عَلَيْ كُمُ ٱلْ عَهْدُ أَمْ أَرَد تُّمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْ كُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّ كُمْ فَ أَخْلَفْ تُم مَّوْعِدِ ى
So Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved. He said, "O my people, did your Lord not make you a good promise? Then, was the time [of its fulfillment] too long for you, or did you wish that wrath from your Lord descend upon you, so you broke your promise [of obedience] to me?"
21:17
لَوْ أَرَدْ نَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَّ ٱتَّخَذْ نَٰ هُ مِن لَّدُنَّ آ إِن كُ نَّا فَٰعِلِينَ
Had We intended to take a diversion, We could have taken it from [what is] with Us - if [indeed] We were to do so.
21:70
وَ أَرَادُ وا۟ بِ هِۦ كَيْدًا فَ جَعَلْ نَٰ هُمُ ٱلْ أَخْسَرِينَ
And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers.
22:14
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ وَ عَمِلُ وا۟ ٱل صَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِ هَا ٱلْ أَنْهَٰرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ
Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allah does what He intends.
22:16
وَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْ نَٰ هُ ءَايَٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَٰتٍ وَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهْدِى مَن يُرِيدُ
And thus have We sent the Qur'an down as verses of clear evidence and because Allah guides whom He intends.
22:22
كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُ وٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُ وا۟ مِنْ هَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُ وا۟ فِي هَا وَ ذُوقُ وا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْ حَرِيقِ
Every time they want to get out of Hellfire from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!"
22:25
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ وَ يَصُدُّ ونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ مَسْجِدِ ٱلْ حَرَامِ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلْ نَٰ هُ لِ ل نَّاسِ سَوَآءً ٱلْ عَٰكِفُ فِي هِ وَ ٱلْ بَادِ وَ مَن يُرِدْ فِي هِ بِ إِلْحَادٍۭ بِ ظُلْمٍ نُّذِقْ هُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Indeed, those who have disbelieved and avert [people] from the way of Allah and [from] al-Masjid al-Haram, which We made for the people - equal are the resident therein and one from outside; and [also] whoever intends [a deed] therein of deviation [in religion] or wrongdoing - We will make him taste of a painful punishment.
23:24
فَ قَالَ ٱلْ مَلَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ مِن قَوْمِ هِۦ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُ كُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَ أَنزَلَ مَلَٰٓئِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْ نَا بِ هَٰذَا فِىٓ ءَابَآئِ نَا ٱلْ أَوَّلِينَ
But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers.
24:33
وَ لْ يَسْتَعْفِفِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُ ونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِ هِۦ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُ ونَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ مِ مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُ كُمْ فَ كَاتِبُ و هُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْ تُمْ فِي هِمْ خَيْرًا وَ ءَاتُ و هُم مِّن مَّالِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَاتَىٰ كُمْ وَ لَا تُكْرِهُ وا۟ فَتَيَٰتِ كُمْ عَلَى ٱلْ بِغَآءِ إِنْ أَرَدْ نَ تَحَصُّنًا لِّ تَبْتَغُ وا۟ عَرَضَ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ مَن يُكْرِه هُّنَّ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِكْرَٰهِ هِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess - then make a contract with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allah which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful.
25:62
وَ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلَّ يْلَ وَ ٱل نَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا
And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.
26:35
يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَ كُم مِّنْ أَرْضِ كُم بِ سِحْرِ هِۦ فَ مَاذَا تَأْمُرُ ونَ
He wants to drive you out of your land by his magic, so what do you advise?"
28:19
فَ لَمَّآ أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِ ٱلَّذِى هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّ هُمَا قَالَ يَٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَ تُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَ نِى كَ مَا قَتَلْ تَ نَفْسًۢا بِ ٱلْ أَمْسِ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ مَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْ مُصْلِحِينَ
And when he wanted to strike the one who was an enemy to both of them, he said, "O Moses, do you intend to kill me as you killed someone yesterday? You only want to be a tyrant in the land and do not want to be of the amenders."
28:27
قَالَ إِنِّ ىٓ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنكِحَ كَ إِحْدَى ٱبْنَتَىَّ هَٰتَيْنِ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَأْجُرَ نِى ثَمَٰنِىَ حِجَجٍ فَ إِنْ أَتْمَمْ تَ عَشْرًا فَ مِنْ عِندِ كَ وَ مَآ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَيْ كَ سَ تَجِدُ نِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱل صَّٰلِحِينَ
He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be [as a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty. You will find me, if Allah wills, from among the righteous."
28:5
وَ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُ وا۟ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ نَجْعَلَ هُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَ نَجْعَلَ هُمُ ٱلْ وَٰرِثِينَ
And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors
28:79
فَ خَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِ هِۦ فِى زِينَتِ هِۦ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُ ونَ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةَ ٱل دُّنْيَا يَٰ لَيْتَ لَ نَا مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ قَٰرُونُ إِنَّ هُۥ لَ ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, "Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune."
28:83
تِلْكَ ٱل دَّارُ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُ هَا لِ لَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُ ونَ عُلُوًّا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ لَا فَسَادًا وَ ٱلْ عَٰقِبَةُ لِ لْ مُتَّقِينَ
That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
2:108
أَمْ تُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَسْـَٔلُ وا۟ رَسُولَ كُمْ كَ مَا سُئِلَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ وَ مَن يَتَبَدَّلِ ٱلْ كُفْرَ بِ ٱلْ إِيمَٰنِ فَ قَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱل سَّبِيلِ
Or do you intend to ask your Messenger as Moses was asked before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.
2:185
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِي هِ ٱلْ قُرْءَانُ هُدًى لِّ ل نَّاسِ وَ بَيِّنَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ هُدَىٰ وَ ٱلْ فُرْقَانِ فَ مَن شَهِدَ مِن كُمُ ٱل شَّهْرَ فَ لْ يَصُمْ هُ وَ مَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَ عِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِ كُمُ ٱلْ يُسْرَ وَ لَا يُرِيدُ بِ كُمُ ٱلْ عُسْرَ وَ لِ تُكْمِلُ وا۟ ٱلْ عِدَّةَ وَ لِ تُكَبِّرُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰ كُمْ وَ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَشْكُرُ ونَ
The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.
2:228
وَ ٱلْ مُطَلَّقَٰتُ يَتَرَبَّصْ نَ بِ أَنفُسِ هِنَّ ثَلَٰثَةَ قُرُوٓءٍ وَ لَا يَحِلُّ لَ هُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْ نَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ فِىٓ أَرْحَامِ هِنَّ إِن كُ نَّ يُؤْمِ نَّ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ وَ بُعُولَتُ هُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِ رَدِّ هِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُ وٓا۟ إِصْلَٰحًا وَ لَ هُنَّ مِثْلُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَيْ هِنَّ بِ ٱلْ مَعْرُوفِ وَ لِ ل رِّجَالِ عَلَيْ هِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to the wives is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
2:233
وَ ٱلْ وَٰلِدَٰتُ يُرْضِعْ نَ أَوْلَٰدَ هُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ ٱل رَّضَاعَةَ وَ عَلَى ٱلْ مَوْلُودِ لَ هُۥ رِزْقُ هُنَّ وَ كِسْوَتُ هُنَّ بِ ٱلْ مَعْرُوفِ لَا تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا وُسْعَ هَا لَا تُضَآرَّ وَٰلِدَةٌۢ بِ وَلَدِ هَا وَ لَا مَوْلُودٌ لَّ هُۥ بِ وَلَدِ هِۦ وَ عَلَى ٱلْ وَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَٰلِكَ فَ إِنْ أَرَادَ ا فِصَالًا عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْ هُمَا وَ تَشَاوُرٍ فَ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْ هِمَا وَ إِنْ أَرَد تُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُ وٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَ كُمْ فَ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْ كُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْ تُم مَّآ ءَاتَيْ تُم بِ ٱلْ مَعْرُوفِ وَ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَ ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ مَا تَعْمَلُ ونَ بَصِيرٌ
Mothers may breastfeed their children two complete years for whoever wishes to complete the nursing [period]. Upon the father is the mothers' provision and their clothing according to what is acceptable. No person is charged with more than his capacity. No mother should be harmed through her child, and no father through his child. And upon the [father's] heir is [a duty] like that [of the father]. And if they both desire weaning through mutual consent from both of them and consultation, there is no blame upon either of them. And if you wish to have your children nursed by a substitute, there is no blame upon you as long as you give payment according to what is acceptable. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Seeing of what you do.
2:253
تِلْكَ ٱل رُّسُلُ فَضَّلْ نَا بَعْضَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ مِّنْ هُم مَّن كَلَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَ رَفَعَ بَعْضَ هُمْ دَرَجَٰتٍ وَ ءَاتَيْ نَا عِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱلْ بَيِّنَٰتِ وَ أَيَّدْ نَٰ هُ بِ رُوحِ ٱلْ قُدُسِ وَ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْ هُمُ ٱلْ بَيِّنَٰتُ وَ لَٰكِنِ ٱخْتَلَفُ وا۟ فَ مِنْ هُم مَّنْ ءَامَنَ وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن كَفَرَ وَ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلُ وا۟ وَ لَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ
Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the Son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit. If Allah had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allah does what He intends.
2:26
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦٓ أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَ مَا فَوْقَ هَا فَ أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ فَ يَعْلَمُ ونَ أَنَّ هُ ٱلْ حَقُّ مِن رَّبِّ هِمْ وَ أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ فَ يَقُولُ ونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَٰذَا مَثَلًا يُضِلُّ بِ هِۦ كَثِيرًا وَ يَهْدِى بِ هِۦ كَثِيرًا وَ مَا يُضِلُّ بِ هِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلْ فَٰسِقِينَ
Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,
30:38
فَ ـَٔاتِ ذَا ٱلْ قُرْبَىٰ حَقَّ هُۥ وَ ٱلْ مِسْكِينَ وَ ٱبْنَ ٱل سَّبِيلِ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّ لَّذِينَ يُرِيدُ ونَ وَجْهَ ٱللَّهِ وَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ مُفْلِحُونَ
So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the countenance of Allah, and it is they who will be the successful.
30:39
وَ مَآ ءَاتَيْ تُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّ يَرْبُوَا۟ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِ ٱل نَّاسِ فَ لَا يَرْبُوا۟ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَ مَآ ءَاتَيْ تُم مِّن زَكَوٰةٍ تُرِيدُ ونَ وَجْهَ ٱللَّهِ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ مُضْعِفُونَ
And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers.
32:20
وَ أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُ وا۟ فَ مَأْوَىٰ هُمُ ٱل نَّارُ كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُ وٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُ وا۟ مِنْ هَآ أُعِيدُ وا۟ فِي هَا وَ قِيلَ لَ هُمْ ذُوقُ وا۟ عَذَابَ ٱل نَّارِ ٱلَّذِى كُن تُم بِ هِۦ تُكَذِّبُ ونَ
But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."
33:13
وَ إِذْ قَالَت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ هُمْ يَٰٓ أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَ كُمْ فَ ٱرْجِعُ وا۟ وَ يَسْتَـْٔذِنُ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ هُمُ ٱل نَّبِىَّ يَقُولُ ونَ إِنَّ بُيُوتَ نَا عَوْرَةٌ وَ مَا هِىَ بِ عَوْرَةٍ إِن يُرِيدُ ونَ إِلَّا فِرَارًا
And when a faction of them said, "O people of Yathrib, there is no stability for you [here], so return [home]." And a party of them asked permission of the Prophet, saying, "Indeed, our houses are unprotected," while they were not exposed. They did not intend except to flee.
33:17
قُلْ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَعْصِمُ كُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَ بِ كُمْ سُوٓءًا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِ كُمْ رَحْمَةً وَ لَا يَجِدُ ونَ لَ هُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَ لَا نَصِيرًا
Say, "Who is it that can protect you from Allah if He intends for you an ill or intends for you a mercy?" And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or any helper.
33:28
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل نَّبِىُّ قُل لِّ أَزْوَٰجِ كَ إِن كُن تُنَّ تُرِدْ نَ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةَ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ زِينَتَ هَا فَ تَعَالَيْ نَ أُمَتِّعْ كُنَّ وَ أُسَرِّحْ كُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا
O Prophet, say to your wives, "If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release.
33:29
وَ إِن كُن تُنَّ تُرِدْ نَ ٱللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَ هُۥ وَ ٱل دَّارَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةَ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِ لْ مُحْسِنَٰتِ مِن كُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
But if you should desire Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter - then indeed, Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward."
33:33
وَ قَرْ نَ فِى بُيُوتِ كُنَّ وَ لَا تَبَرَّجْ نَ تَبَرُّجَ ٱلْ جَٰهِلِيَّةِ ٱلْ أُولَىٰ وَ أَقِمْ نَ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ ءَاتِي نَ ٱل زَّكَوٰةَ وَ أَطِعْ نَ ٱللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَ هُۥٓ إِنَّ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِ يُذْهِبَ عَن كُمُ ٱل رِّجْسَ أَهْلَ ٱلْ بَيْتِ وَ يُطَهِّرَ كُمْ تَطْهِيرًا
And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.
33:50
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل نَّبِىُّ إِنَّ آ أَحْلَلْ نَا لَ كَ أَزْوَٰجَ كَ ٱلَّٰتِىٓ ءَاتَيْ تَ أُجُورَ هُنَّ وَ مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُ كَ مِ مَّآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْ كَ وَ بَنَاتِ عَمِّ كَ وَ بَنَاتِ عَمَّٰتِ كَ وَ بَنَاتِ خَالِ كَ وَ بَنَاتِ خَٰلَٰتِ كَ ٱلَّٰتِى هَاجَرْ نَ مَعَ كَ وَ ٱمْرَأَةً مُّؤْمِنَةً إِن وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَ هَا لِ ل نَّبِىِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ ٱل نَّبِىُّ أَن يَسْتَنكِحَ هَا خَالِصَةً لَّ كَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ قَدْ عَلِمْ نَا مَا فَرَضْ نَا عَلَيْ هِمْ فِىٓ أَزْوَٰجِ هِمْ وَ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُ هُمْ لِ كَيْلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيْ كَ حَرَجٌ وَ كَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
34:43
وَ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْ هِمْ ءَايَٰتُ نَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ قَالُ وا۟ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَن يَصُدَّ كُمْ عَ مَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُ كُمْ وَ قَالُ وا۟ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌ مُّفْتَرًى وَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ لِ لْ حَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَ هُمْ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
And when our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, they say, "This is not but a man who wishes to avert you from that which your fathers were worshipping." And they say, "This is not except a lie invented." And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is not but obvious magic."
35:10
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْ عِزَّةَ فَ لِ لَّهِ ٱلْ عِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا إِلَيْ هِ يَصْعَدُ ٱلْ كَلِمُ ٱل طَّيِّبُ وَ ٱلْ عَمَلُ ٱل صَّٰلِحُ يَرْفَعُ هُۥ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُ ونَ ٱل سَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَ مَكْرُ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ
Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.
36:23
ءَ أَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ هِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْ نِ ٱل رَّحْمَٰنُ بِ ضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّ ى شَفَٰعَتُ هُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَ لَا يُنقِذُ و نِ
Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me?
36:82
إِنَّ مَآ أَمْرُ هُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَ هُۥ كُن فَ يَكُونُ
His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
37:86
أَ ئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةً دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُ ونَ
Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire?
37:98
فَ أَرَادُ وا۟ بِ هِۦ كَيْدًا فَ جَعَلْ نَٰ هُمُ ٱلْ أَسْفَلِينَ
And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased.
38:6
وَ ٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْ مَلَأُ مِنْ هُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُ وا۟ وَ ٱصْبِرُ وا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِ كُمْ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَ شَىْءٌ يُرَادُ
And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended.
39:38
وَ لَ ئِن سَأَلْ تَ هُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضَ لَ يَقُولُ نَّ ٱللَّهُ قُلْ أَ فَ رَءَيْ تُم مَّا تَدْعُ ونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَ نِىَ ٱللَّهُ بِ ضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَٰشِفَٰتُ ضُرِّ هِۦٓ أَوْ أَرَادَ نِى بِ رَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكَٰتُ رَحْمَتِ هِۦ قُلْ حَسْبِ ىَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْ هِ يَتَوَكَّلُ ٱلْ مُتَوَكِّلُونَ
And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers."
39:4
لَّوْ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَّ ٱصْطَفَىٰ مِ مَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ سُبْحَٰنَ هُۥ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْ وَٰحِدُ ٱلْ قَهَّارُ
If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing.
3:108
تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُو هَا عَلَيْ كَ بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ مَا ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّ لْ عَٰلَمِينَ
These are the verses of Allah. We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth; and Allah wants no injustice to the worlds.
3:145
وَ مَا كَانَ لِ نَفْسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِ إِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ كِتَٰبًا مُّؤَجَّلًا وَ مَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ ٱل دُّنْيَا نُؤْتِ هِۦ مِنْ هَا وَ مَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ نُؤْتِ هِۦ مِنْ هَا وَ سَ نَجْزِى ٱل شَّٰكِرِينَ
And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.
3:152
وَ لَ قَدْ صَدَقَ كُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَ هُۥٓ إِذْ تَحُسُّ ونَ هُم بِ إِذْنِ هِۦ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَشِلْ تُمْ وَ تَنَٰزَعْ تُمْ فِى ٱلْ أَمْرِ وَ عَصَيْ تُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَرَىٰ كُم مَّا تُحِبُّ ونَ مِن كُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةَ ثُمَّ صَرَفَ كُمْ عَنْ هُمْ لِ يَبْتَلِيَ كُمْ وَ لَ قَدْ عَفَا عَن كُمْ وَ ٱللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
And Allah had certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing the enemy by His permission until [the time] when you lost courage and fell to disputing about the order [given by the Prophet] and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you love. Among you are some who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter. Then he turned you back from them [defeated] that He might test you. And He has already forgiven you, and Allah is the possessor of bounty for the believers.
3:176
وَ لَا يَحْزُن كَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسَٰرِعُ ونَ فِى ٱلْ كُفْرِ إِنَّ هُمْ لَن يَضُرُّ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ شَيْـًٔا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَ لَّا يَجْعَلَ لَ هُمْ حَظًّا فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ وَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
And do not be grieved, [O Muhammad], by those who hasten into disbelief. Indeed, they will never harm Allah at all. Allah intends that He should give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.
40:31
مِثْلَ دَأْبِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَ عَادٍ وَ ثَمُودَ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِمْ وَ مَا ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّ لْ عِبَادِ
Like the custom of the people of Noah and of 'Aad and Thamud and those after them. And Allah wants no injustice for [His] servants.
42:20
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَ هُۥ فِى حَرْثِ هِۦ وَ مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ ٱل دُّنْيَا نُؤْتِ هِۦ مِنْ هَا وَ مَا لَ هُۥ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ
Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter - We increase for him in his harvest. And whoever desires the harvest of this world - We give him thereof, but there is not for him in the Hereafter any share.
48:11
سَ يَقُولُ لَ كَ ٱلْ مُخَلَّفُونَ مِنَ ٱلْ أَعْرَابِ شَغَلَتْ نَآ أَمْوَٰلُ نَا وَ أَهْلُو نَا فَ ٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَ نَا يَقُولُ ونَ بِ أَلْسِنَتِ هِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِى قُلُوبِ هِمْ قُلْ فَ مَن يَمْلِكُ لَ كُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا إِنْ أَرَادَ بِ كُمْ ضَرًّا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِ كُمْ نَفْعًۢا بَلْ كَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِ مَا تَعْمَلُ ونَ خَبِيرًۢا
Those who remained behind of the bedouins will say to you, "Our properties and our families occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not within their hearts. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He intended for you harm or intended for you benefit? Rather, ever is Allah, with what you do, Acquainted.
48:15
سَ يَقُولُ ٱلْ مُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا ٱنطَلَقْ تُمْ إِلَىٰ مَغَانِمَ لِ تَأْخُذُ و هَا ذَرُ و نَا نَتَّبِعْ كُمْ يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يُبَدِّلُ وا۟ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُ و نَا كَ ذَٰلِكُمْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ فَ سَ يَقُولُ ونَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُ ونَ نَا بَلْ كَانُ وا۟ لَا يَفْقَهُ ونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
Those who remained behind will say when you set out toward the war booty to take it, "Let us follow you." They wish to change the words of Allah. Say, "Never will you follow us. Thus did Allah say before." So they will say, "Rather, you envy us." But [in fact] they were not understanding except a little.
4:134
مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ ٱل دُّنْيَا فَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ثَوَابُ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ وَ كَانَ ٱللَّهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا
Whoever desires the reward of this world - then with Allah is the reward of this world and the Hereafter. And ever is Allah Hearing and Seeing.
4:144
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُ وا۟ ٱلْ كَٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ أَ تُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَجْعَلُ وا۟ لِ لَّهِ عَلَيْ كُمْ سُلْطَٰنًا مُّبِينًا
O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do you wish to give Allah against yourselves a clear case?
4:150
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُ ونَ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ رُسُلِ هِۦ وَ يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يُفَرِّقُ وا۟ بَيْنَ ٱللَّهِ وَ رُسُلِ هِۦ وَ يَقُولُ ونَ نُؤْمِنُ بِ بَعْضٍ وَ نَكْفُرُ بِ بَعْضٍ وَ يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يَتَّخِذُ وا۟ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًا
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers and wish to discriminate between Allah and His messengers and say, "We believe in some and disbelieve in others," and wish to adopt a way in between -
4:20
وَ إِنْ أَرَد تُّمُ ٱسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍ مَّكَانَ زَوْجٍ وَ ءَاتَيْ تُمْ إِحْدَىٰ هُنَّ قِنطَارًا فَ لَا تَأْخُذُ وا۟ مِنْ هُ شَيْـًٔا أَ تَأْخُذُ ونَ هُۥ بُهْتَٰنًا وَ إِثْمًا مُّبِينًا
But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would you take it in injustice and manifest sin?
4:26
يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِ يُبَيِّنَ لَ كُمْ وَ يَهْدِيَ كُمْ سُنَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ كُمْ وَ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
Allah wants to make clear to you [the lawful from the unlawful] and guide you to the [good] practices of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
4:27
وَ ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ يُرِيدُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُ ونَ ٱل شَّهَوَٰتِ أَن تَمِيلُ وا۟ مَيْلًا عَظِيمًا
Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.
4:28
يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَن كُمْ وَ خُلِقَ ٱلْ إِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفًا
And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.
4:35
وَ إِنْ خِفْ تُمْ شِقَاقَ بَيْنِ هِمَا فَ ٱبْعَثُ وا۟ حَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِ هِۦ وَ حَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِ هَآ إِن يُرِيدَ آ إِصْلَٰحًا يُوَفِّقِ ٱللَّهُ بَيْنَ هُمَآ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا خَبِيرًا
And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause it between them. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Acquainted [with all things].
4:44
أَ لَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ يَشْتَرُ ونَ ٱل ضَّلَٰلَةَ وَ يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَضِلُّ وا۟ ٱل سَّبِيلَ
Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, purchasing error [in exchange for it] and wishing you would lose the way?
4:60
أَ لَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُ ونَ أَنَّ هُمْ ءَامَنُ وا۟ بِ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْ كَ وَ مَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِ كَ يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُ وٓا۟ إِلَى ٱل طَّٰغُوتِ وَ قَدْ أُمِرُ وٓا۟ أَن يَكْفُرُ وا۟ بِ هِۦ وَ يُرِيدُ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّ هُمْ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا
Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.
4:62
فَ كَيْفَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتْ هُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِ مَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِي هِمْ ثُمَّ جَآءُ و كَ يَحْلِفُ ونَ بِ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْ نَآ إِلَّآ إِحْسَٰنًا وَ تَوْفِيقًا
So how [will it be] when disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forth and then they come to you swearing by Allah, "We intended nothing but good conduct and accommodation."
4:88
فَ مَا لَ كُمْ فِى ٱلْ مُنَٰفِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَ ٱللَّهُ أَرْكَسَ هُم بِ مَا كَسَبُ وٓا۟ أَ تُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَهْدُ وا۟ مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ لَن تَجِدَ لَ هُۥ سَبِيلًا
What is [the matter] with you [that you are] two groups concerning the hypocrites, while Allah has made them fall back [into error and disbelief] for what they earned. Do you wish to guide those whom Allah has sent astray? And he whom Allah sends astray - never will you find for him a way [of guidance].
4:91
سَ تَجِدُ ونَ ءَاخَرِينَ يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يَأْمَنُ و كُمْ وَ يَأْمَنُ وا۟ قَوْمَ هُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّ وٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلْ فِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُ وا۟ فِي هَا فَ إِن لَّمْ يَعْتَزِلُ و كُمْ وَ يُلْقُ وٓا۟ إِلَيْ كُمُ ٱل سَّلَمَ وَ يَكُفُّ وٓا۟ أَيْدِيَ هُمْ فَ خُذُ و هُمْ وَ ٱقْتُلُ و هُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْ تُمُو هُمْ وَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكُمْ جَعَلْ نَا لَ كُمْ عَلَيْ هِمْ سُلْطَٰنًا مُّبِينًا
You will find others who wish to obtain security from you and [to] obtain security from their people. Every time they are returned to [the influence of] disbelief, they fall back into it. So if they do not withdraw from you or offer you peace or restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you overtake them. And those - We have made for you against them a clear authorization.
51:57
مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْ هُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَ مَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُ و نِ
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.
52:42
أَمْ يُرِيدُ ونَ كَيْدًا فَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ هُمُ ٱلْ مَكِيدُونَ
Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan.
53:29
فَ أَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكْرِ نَا وَ لَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا ٱلْ حَيَوٰةَ ٱل دُّنْيَا
So turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly life.
5:1
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ أَوْفُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ عُقُودِ أُحِلَّتْ لَ كُم بَهِيمَةُ ٱلْ أَنْعَٰمِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْ كُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّى ٱل صَّيْدِ وَ أَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ
O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts. Lawful for you are the animals of grazing livestock except for that which is recited to you [in this Qur'an] - hunting not being permitted while you are in the state of ihram. Indeed, Allah ordains what He intends.
5:113
قَالُ وا۟ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأْكُلَ مِنْ هَا وَ تَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُ نَا وَ نَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ صَدَقْ تَ نَا وَ نَكُونَ عَلَيْ هَا مِنَ ٱل شَّٰهِدِينَ
They said, "We wish to eat from it and let our hearts be reassured and know that you have been truthful to us and be among its witnesses."
5:17
لَّ قَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُ وٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْ مَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ قُلْ فَ مَن يَمْلِكُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا إِنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُهْلِكَ ٱلْ مَسِيحَ ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَ أُمَّ هُۥ وَ مَن فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَ لِ لَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ مَا بَيْنَ هُمَا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
5:29
إِنِّ ىٓ أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوٓأَ بِ إِثْمِ ى وَ إِثْمِ كَ فَ تَكُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱل نَّارِ وَ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ
Indeed I want you to obtain [thereby] my sin and your sin so you will be among the companions of the Fire. And that is the recompense of wrongdoers."
5:37
يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يَخْرُجُ وا۟ مِنَ ٱل نَّارِ وَ مَا هُم بِ خَٰرِجِينَ مِنْ هَا وَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ
They will wish to get out of the Fire, but never are they to emerge therefrom, and for them is an enduring punishment.
5:41
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل رَّسُولُ لَا يَحْزُن كَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسَٰرِعُ ونَ فِى ٱلْ كُفْرِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُ وٓا۟ ءَامَ نَّا بِ أَفْوَٰهِ هِمْ وَ لَمْ تُؤْمِن قُلُوبُ هُمْ وَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُ وا۟ سَمَّٰعُونَ لِ لْ كَذِبِ سَمَّٰعُونَ لِ قَوْمٍ ءَاخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُ و كَ يُحَرِّفُ ونَ ٱلْ كَلِمَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِ هِۦ يَقُولُ ونَ إِنْ أُوتِي تُمْ هَٰذَا فَ خُذُ و هُ وَ إِن لَّمْ تُؤْتَ وْ هُ فَ ٱحْذَرُ وا۟ وَ مَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ فِتْنَتَ هُۥ فَ لَن تَمْلِكَ لَ هُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَ هُمْ لَ هُمْ فِى ٱل دُّنْيَا خِزْىٌ وَ لَ هُمْ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
O Messenger, let them not grieve you who hasten into disbelief of those who say, "We believe" with their mouths, but their hearts believe not, and from among the Jews. [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, listening to another people who have not come to you. They distort words beyond their [proper] usages, saying "If you are given this, take it; but if you are not given it, then beware." But he for whom Allah intends fitnah - never will you possess [power to do] for him a thing against Allah. Those are the ones for whom Allah does not intend to purify their hearts. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.
5:49
وَ أَنِ ٱحْكُم بَيْنَ هُم بِ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَ لَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَ هُمْ وَ ٱحْذَرْ هُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُ و كَ عَنۢ بَعْضِ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْ كَ فَ إِن تَوَلَّ وْا۟ فَ ٱعْلَمْ أَنَّ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُصِيبَ هُم بِ بَعْضِ ذُنُوبِ هِمْ وَ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱل نَّاسِ لَ فَٰسِقُونَ
And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient.
5:6
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِذَا قُمْ تُمْ إِلَى ٱل صَّلَوٰةِ فَ ٱغْسِلُ وا۟ وُجُوهَ كُمْ وَ أَيْدِيَ كُمْ إِلَى ٱلْ مَرَافِقِ وَ ٱمْسَحُ وا۟ بِ رُءُوسِ كُمْ وَ أَرْجُلَ كُمْ إِلَى ٱلْ كَعْبَيْنِ وَ إِن كُن تُمْ جُنُبًا فَ ٱطَّهَّرُ وا۟ وَ إِن كُن تُم مَّرْضَىٰٓ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَآءَ أَحَدٌ مِّن كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ غَآئِطِ أَوْ لَٰمَسْ تُمُ ٱل نِّسَآءَ فَ لَمْ تَجِدُ وا۟ مَآءً فَ تَيَمَّمُ وا۟ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَ ٱمْسَحُ وا۟ بِ وُجُوهِ كُمْ وَ أَيْدِي كُم مِّنْ هُ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِ يَجْعَلَ عَلَيْ كُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَ لَٰكِن يُرِيدُ لِ يُطَهِّرَ كُمْ وَ لِ يُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَ هُۥ عَلَيْ كُمْ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَشْكُرُ ونَ
O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.
5:91
إِنَّ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَ كُمُ ٱلْ عَدَٰوَةَ وَ ٱلْ بَغْضَآءَ فِى ٱلْ خَمْرِ وَ ٱلْ مَيْسِرِ وَ يَصُدَّ كُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَ عَنِ ٱل صَّلَوٰةِ فَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ
Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist?
61:8
يُرِيدُ ونَ لِ يُطْفِـُٔ وا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِ أَفْوَٰهِ هِمْ وَ ٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِ هِۦ وَ لَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرُونَ
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.
6:125
فَ مَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَ هُۥ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَ هُۥ لِ لْ إِسْلَٰمِ وَ مَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّ هُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَ هُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّ مَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱل سَّمَآءِ كَ ذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱل رِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ
So whoever Allah wants to guide - He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe.
6:52
وَ لَا تَطْرُدِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُ ونَ رَبَّ هُم بِ ٱلْ غَدَوٰةِ وَ ٱلْ عَشِىِّ يُرِيدُ ونَ وَجْهَ هُۥ مَا عَلَيْ كَ مِنْ حِسَابِ هِم مِّن شَىْءٍ وَ مَا مِنْ حِسَابِ كَ عَلَيْ هِم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَ تَطْرُدَ هُمْ فَ تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ
And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.
72:10
وَ أَنَّ ا لَا نَدْرِىٓ أَ شَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِ مَن فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِ هِمْ رَبُّ هُمْ رَشَدًا
And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.
74:31
وَ مَا جَعَلْ نَآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱل نَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةً وَ مَا جَعَلْ نَا عِدَّتَ هُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ لِ يَسْتَيْقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ وَ يَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِيمَٰنًا وَ لَا يَرْتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ وَ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنُونَ وَ لِ يَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِ هِم مَّرَضٌ وَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَٰذَا مَثَلًا كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ وَ مَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّ كَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ مَا هِىَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِ لْ بَشَرِ
And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity.
74:52
بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍ مِّنْ هُمْ أَن يُؤْتَىٰ صُحُفًا مُّنَشَّرَةً
Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about.
75:5
بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْ إِنسَٰنُ لِ يَفْجُرَ أَمَامَ هُۥ
But man desires to continue in sin.
76:9
إِنَّ مَا نُطْعِمُ كُمْ لِ وَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِن كُمْ جَزَآءً وَ لَا شُكُورًا
[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.
7:110
يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَ كُم مِّنْ أَرْضِ كُمْ فَ مَاذَا تَأْمُرُ ونَ
Who wants to expel you from your land [through magic], so what do you instruct?"
85:16
فَعَّالٌ لِّ مَا يُرِيدُ
Effecter of what He intends.
8:62
وَ إِن يُرِيدُ وٓا۟ أَن يَخْدَعُ و كَ فَ إِنَّ حَسْبَ كَ ٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَيَّدَ كَ بِ نَصْرِ هِۦ وَ بِ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
But if they intend to deceive you - then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers
8:67
مَا كَانَ لِ نَبِىٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَ هُۥٓ أَسْرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثْخِنَ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ تُرِيدُ ونَ عَرَضَ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةَ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah 's enemies] in the land. Some Muslims desire the commodities of this world, but Allah desires [for you] the Hereafter. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
8:7
وَ إِذْ يَعِدُ كُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحْدَى ٱل طَّآئِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّ هَا لَ كُمْ وَ تَوَدُّ ونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ ٱل شَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَ كُمْ وَ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلْ حَقَّ بِ كَلِمَٰتِ هِۦ وَ يَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرِينَ
[Remember, O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups - that it would be yours - and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers
8:71
وَ إِن يُرِيدُ وا۟ خِيَانَتَ كَ فَ قَدْ خَانُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبْلُ فَ أَمْكَنَ مِنْ هُمْ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
But if they intend to betray you - then they have already betrayed Allah before, and He empowered [you] over them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
9:107
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُ وا۟ مَسْجِدًا ضِرَارًا وَ كُفْرًا وَ تَفْرِيقًۢا بَيْنَ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ وَ إِرْصَادًا لِّ مَنْ حَارَبَ ٱللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَ هُۥ مِن قَبْلُ وَ لَ يَحْلِفُ نَّ إِنْ أَرَدْ نَآ إِلَّا ٱلْ حُسْنَىٰ وَ ٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ هُمْ لَ كَٰذِبُونَ
And [there are] those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. And they will surely swear, "We intended only the best." And Allah testifies that indeed they are liars.
9:32
يُرِيدُ ونَ أَن يُطْفِـُٔ وا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِ أَفْوَٰهِ هِمْ وَ يَأْبَى ٱللَّهُ إِلَّآ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَ هُۥ وَ لَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرُونَ
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.
9:46
وَ لَوْ أَرَادُ وا۟ ٱلْ خُرُوجَ لَ أَعَدُّ وا۟ لَ هُۥ عُدَّةً وَ لَٰكِن كَرِهَ ٱللَّهُ ٱنۢبِعَاثَ هُمْ فَ ثَبَّطَ هُمْ وَ قِيلَ ٱقْعُدُ وا۟ مَعَ ٱلْ قَٰعِدِينَ
And if they had intended to go forth, they would have prepared for it [some] preparation. But Allah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, "Remain [behind] with those who remain."
9:55
فَ لَا تُعْجِبْ كَ أَمْوَٰلُ هُمْ وَ لَآ أَوْلَٰدُ هُمْ إِنَّ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِ يُعَذِّبَ هُم بِ هَا فِى ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ تَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُ هُمْ وَ هُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ
So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.
9:85
وَ لَا تُعْجِبْ كَ أَمْوَٰلُ هُمْ وَ أَوْلَٰدُ هُمْ إِنَّ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَ هُم بِ هَا فِى ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ تَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُ هُمْ وَ هُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ
