11:32
قَالُ وا۟ يَٰ نُوحُ قَدْ جَٰدَلْ تَ نَا فَ أَكْثَرْ تَ جِدَٰلَ نَا فَ أْتِ نَا بِ مَا تَعِدُ نَآ إِن كُن تَ مِنَ ٱل صَّٰدِقِينَ
They said, "O Noah, you have disputed us and been frequent in dispute of us. So bring us what you threaten us, if you should be of the truthful."
11:74
فَ لَمَّا ذَهَبَ عَنْ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱل رَّوْعُ وَ جَآءَتْ هُ ٱلْ بُشْرَىٰ يُجَٰدِلُ نَا فِى قَوْمِ لُوطٍ
And when the fright had left Abraham and the good tidings had reached him, he began to argue with Us concerning the people of Lot.
13:13
وَ يُسَبِّحُ ٱل رَّعْدُ بِ حَمْدِ هِۦ وَ ٱلْ مَلَٰٓئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِ هِۦ وَ يُرْسِلُ ٱل صَّوَٰعِقَ فَ يُصِيبُ بِ هَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَ هُمْ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ فِى ٱللَّهِ وَ هُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْ مِحَالِ
And the thunder exalts [Allah] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah; and He is severe in assault.
16:111
يَوْمَ تَأْتِى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَٰدِلُ عَن نَّفْسِ هَا وَ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged.
16:125
ٱدْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّ كَ بِ ٱلْ حِكْمَةِ وَ ٱلْ مَوْعِظَةِ ٱلْ حَسَنَةِ وَ جَٰدِلْ هُم بِ ٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِ مَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ هِۦ وَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِ ٱلْ مُهْتَدِينَ
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.
18:56
وَ مَا نُرْسِلُ ٱلْ مُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَ مُنذِرِينَ وَ يُجَٰدِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ بَٰطِلِ لِ يُدْحِضُ وا۟ بِ هِ ٱلْ حَقَّ وَ ٱتَّخَذُ وٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِ ى وَ مَآ أُنذِرُ وا۟ هُزُوًا
And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. And those who disbelieve dispute by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth and have taken My verses, and that of which they are warned, in ridicule.
22:3
وَ مِنَ ٱل نَّاسِ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَ يَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَٰنٍ مَّرِيدٍ
And of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge and follows every rebellious devil.
22:68
وَ إِن جَٰدَلُ و كَ فَ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِ مَا تَعْمَلُ ونَ
And if they dispute with you, then say, "Allah is most knowing of what you do.
22:8
وَ مِنَ ٱل نَّاسِ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَ لَا هُدًى وَ لَا كِتَٰبٍ مُّنِيرٍ
And of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening book [from Him],
29:46
وَ لَا تُجَٰدِلُ وٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ إِلَّا بِ ٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُ وا۟ مِنْ هُمْ وَ قُولُ وٓا۟ ءَامَ نَّا بِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْ نَا وَ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْ كُمْ وَ إِلَٰهُ نَا وَ إِلَٰهُ كُمْ وَٰحِدٌ وَ نَحْنُ لَ هُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
31:20
أَ لَمْ تَرَ وْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَ كُم مَّا فِى ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ مَا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ أَسْبَغَ عَلَيْ كُمْ نِعَمَ هُۥ ظَٰهِرَةً وَ بَاطِنَةً وَ مِنَ ٱل نَّاسِ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَ لَا هُدًى وَ لَا كِتَٰبٍ مُّنِيرٍ
Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].
40:35
ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِ غَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰ هُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَ عِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ كَ ذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ
Those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without an authority having come to them - great is hatred [of them] in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who have believed. Thus does Allah seal over every heart [belonging to] an arrogant tyrant.
40:4
مَا يُجَٰدِلُ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ فَ لَا يَغْرُرْ كَ تَقَلُّبُ هُمْ فِى ٱلْ بِلَٰدِ
No one disputes concerning the signs of Allah except those who disbelieve, so be not deceived by their [uninhibited] movement throughout the land.
40:5
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَ هُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَ ٱلْ أَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِمْ وَ هَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍۭ بِ رَسُولِ هِمْ لِ يَأْخُذُ و هُ وَ جَٰدَلُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ بَٰطِلِ لِ يُدْحِضُ وا۟ بِ هِ ٱلْ حَقَّ فَ أَخَذْ تُ هُمْ فَ كَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ
The people of Noah denied before them and the [disbelieving] factions after them, and every nation intended [a plot] for their messenger to seize him, and they disputed by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth. So I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.
40:56
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِ غَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰ هُمْ إِن فِى صُدُورِ هِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِ بَٰلِغِي هِ فَ ٱسْتَعِذْ بِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ هُۥ هُوَ ٱل سَّمِيعُ ٱلْ بَصِيرُ
Indeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] authority having come to them - there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing.
40:69
أَ لَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أَنَّىٰ يُصْرَفُ ونَ
Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted?
42:35
وَ يَعْلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ نَا مَا لَ هُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ
And [that is so] those who dispute concerning Our signs may know that for them there is no place of escape.
4:107
وَ لَا تُجَٰدِلْ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْتَانُ ونَ أَنفُسَ هُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا
And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah loves not one who is a habitually sinful deceiver.
4:109
هَٰٓ أَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ جَٰدَلْ تُمْ عَنْ هُمْ فِى ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا فَ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ ٱللَّهَ عَنْ هُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ أَم مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيْ هِمْ وَكِيلًا
Here you are - those who argue on their behalf in [this] worldly life - but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will [then] be their representative?
58:1
قَدْ سَمِعَ ٱللَّهُ قَوْلَ ٱلَّتِى تُجَٰدِلُ كَ فِى زَوْجِ هَا وَ تَشْتَكِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱللَّهُ يَسْمَعُ تَحَاوُرَ كُمَآ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌ
Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, [O Muhammad], concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah. And Allah hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.
6:121
وَ لَا تَأْكُلُ وا۟ مِ مَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ هِ وَ إِنَّ هُۥ لَ فِسْقٌ وَ إِنَّ ٱل شَّيَٰطِينَ لَ يُوحُ ونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآئِ هِمْ لِ يُجَٰدِلُ و كُمْ وَ إِنْ أَطَعْ تُمُو هُمْ إِنَّ كُمْ لَ مُشْرِكُونَ
And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].
6:25
وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْ كَ وَ جَعَلْ نَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ هِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُ و هُ وَ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِ هِمْ وَقْرًا وَ إِن يَرَ وْا۟ كُلَّ ءَايَةٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ وا۟ بِ هَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُ و كَ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ كَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْ أَوَّلِينَ
And among them are those who listen to you, but We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. Even when they come to you arguing with you, those who disbelieve say, "This is not but legends of the former peoples."
7:71
قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْ كُم مِّن رَّبِّ كُمْ رِجْسٌ وَ غَضَبٌ أَ تُجَٰدِلُ ونَ نِى فِىٓ أَسْمَآءٍ سَمَّيْ تُمُو هَآ أَنتُمْ وَ ءَابَآؤُ كُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَا مِن سُلْطَٰنٍ فَ ٱنتَظِرُ وٓا۟ إِنِّ ى مَعَ كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ مُنتَظِرِينَ
[Hud] said, "Already have defilement and anger fallen upon you from your Lord. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."
8:6
يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ كَ فِى ٱلْ حَقِّ بَعْدَ مَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّ مَا يُسَاقُ ونَ إِلَى ٱلْ مَوْتِ وَ هُمْ يَنظُرُ ونَ
Arguing with you concerning the truth after it had become clear, as if they were being driven toward death while they were looking on.
