10:39
بَلْ كَذَّبُ وا۟ بِ مَا لَمْ يُحِيطُ وا۟ بِ عِلْمِ هِۦ وَ لَمَّا يَأْتِ هِمْ تَأْوِيلُ هُۥ كَ ذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ هِمْ فَ ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ
Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.
12:100
وَ رَفَعَ أَبَوَيْ هِ عَلَى ٱلْ عَرْشِ وَ خَرُّ وا۟ لَ هُۥ سُجَّدًا وَ قَالَ يَٰٓ أَبَتِ هَٰذَا تَأْوِيلُ رُءْيَٰ ىَ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَعَلَ هَا رَبِّ ى حَقًّا وَ قَدْ أَحْسَنَ بِ ىٓ إِذْ أَخْرَجَ نِى مِنَ ٱل سِّجْنِ وَ جَآءَ بِ كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ بَدْوِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَن نَّزَغَ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ بَيْنِ ى وَ بَيْنَ إِخْوَتِ ىٓ إِنَّ رَبِّ ى لَطِيفٌ لِّ مَا يَشَآءُ إِنَّ هُۥ هُوَ ٱلْ عَلِيمُ ٱلْ حَكِيمُ
And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise.
12:101
رَبِّ قَدْ ءَاتَيْ تَ نِى مِنَ ٱلْ مُلْكِ وَ عَلَّمْ تَ نِى مِن تَأْوِيلِ ٱلْ أَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِىِّ ۦ فِى ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ تَوَفَّ نِى مُسْلِمًا وَ أَلْحِقْ نِى بِ ٱل صَّٰلِحِينَ
My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous."
12:21
وَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِى ٱشْتَرَىٰ هُ مِن مِّصْرَ لِ ٱمْرَأَتِ هِۦٓ أَكْرِمِ ى مَثْوَىٰ هُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَ نَآ أَوْ نَتَّخِذَ هُۥ وَلَدًا وَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ مَكَّ نَّا لِ يُوسُفَ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ لِ نُعَلِّمَ هُۥ مِن تَأْوِيلِ ٱلْ أَحَادِيثِ وَ ٱللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرِ هِۦ وَ لَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱل نَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُ ونَ
And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.
12:36
وَ دَخَلَ مَعَ هُ ٱل سِّجْنَ فَتَيَانِ قَالَ أَحَدُ هُمَآ إِنِّ ىٓ أَرَىٰ نِىٓ أَعْصِرُ خَمْرًا وَ قَالَ ٱلْ ءَاخَرُ إِنِّ ىٓ أَرَىٰ نِىٓ أَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِ ى خُبْزًا تَأْكُلُ ٱل طَّيْرُ مِنْ هُ نَبِّئْ نَا بِ تَأْوِيلِ هِۦٓ إِنَّ ا نَرَىٰ كَ مِنَ ٱلْ مُحْسِنِينَ
And there entered the prison with him two young men. One of them said, "Indeed, I have seen myself [in a dream] pressing wine." The other said, "Indeed, I have seen myself carrying upon my head [some] bread, from which the birds were eating. Inform us of its interpretation; indeed, we see you to be of those who do good."
12:37
قَالَ لَا يَأْتِي كُمَا طَعَامٌ تُرْزَقَ انِ هِۦٓ إِلَّا نَبَّأْ تُ كُمَا بِ تَأْوِيلِ هِۦ قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتِيَ كُمَا ذَٰلِكُمَا مِ مَّا عَلَّمَ نِى رَبِّ ىٓ إِنِّ ى تَرَكْ تُ مِلَّةَ قَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ هُم بِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ هُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ
He said, "You will not receive food that is provided to you except that I will inform you of its interpretation before it comes to you. That is from what my Lord has taught me. Indeed, I have left the religion of a people who do not believe in Allah, and they, in the Hereafter, are disbelievers.
12:44
قَالُ وٓا۟ أَضْغَٰثُ أَحْلَٰمٍ وَ مَا نَحْنُ بِ تَأْوِيلِ ٱلْ أَحْلَٰمِ بِ عَٰلِمِينَ
They said, "[It is but] a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams."
12:45
وَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِى نَجَا مِنْ هُمَا وَ ٱدَّكَرَ بَعْدَ أُمَّةٍ أَنَا۠ أُنَبِّئُ كُم بِ تَأْوِيلِ هِۦ فَ أَرْسِلُ و نِ
But the one who was freed and remembered after a time said, "I will inform you of its interpretation, so send me forth."
12:6
وَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ يَجْتَبِي كَ رَبُّ كَ وَ يُعَلِّمُ كَ مِن تَأْوِيلِ ٱلْ أَحَادِيثِ وَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَ هُۥ عَلَيْ كَ وَ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِ يَعْقُوبَ كَ مَآ أَتَمَّ هَا عَلَىٰٓ أَبَوَيْ كَ مِن قَبْلُ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَ إِسْحَٰقَ إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of narratives and complete His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed it upon your fathers before, Abraham and Isaac. Indeed, your Lord is Knowing and Wise."
17:35
وَ أَوْفُ وا۟ ٱلْ كَيْلَ إِذَا كِلْ تُمْ وَ زِنُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ قِسْطَاسِ ٱلْ مُسْتَقِيمِ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَ أَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا
And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even balance. That is the best [way] and best in result.
18:78
قَالَ هَٰذَا فِرَاقُ بَيْنِ ى وَ بَيْنِ كَ سَ أُنَبِّئُ كَ بِ تَأْوِيلِ مَا لَمْ تَسْتَطِع عَّلَيْ هِ صَبْرًا
[Al-Khidh r] said, "This is parting between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience.
18:82
وَ أَمَّا ٱلْ جِدَارُ فَ كَانَ لِ غُلَٰمَيْنِ يَتِيمَيْنِ فِى ٱلْ مَدِينَةِ وَ كَانَ تَحْتَ هُۥ كَنزٌ لَّ هُمَا وَ كَانَ أَبُو هُمَا صَٰلِحًا فَ أَرَادَ رَبُّ كَ أَن يَبْلُغَ آ أَشُدَّ هُمَا وَ يَسْتَخْرِجَ ا كَنزَ هُمَا رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّ كَ وَ مَا فَعَلْ تُ هُۥ عَنْ أَمْرِ ى ذَٰلِكَ تَأْوِيلُ مَا لَمْ تَسْطِع عَّلَيْ هِ صَبْرًا
And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience."
3:7
هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْ كَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ مِنْ هُ ءَايَٰتٌ مُّحْكَمَٰتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ وَ أُخَرُ مُتَشَٰبِهَٰتٌ فَ أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِ هِمْ زَيْغٌ فَ يَتَّبِعُ ونَ مَا تَشَٰبَهَ مِنْ هُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ ٱلْ فِتْنَةِ وَ ٱبْتِغَآءَ تَأْوِيلِ هِۦ وَ مَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَ هُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَ ٱل رَّٰسِخُونَ فِى ٱلْ عِلْمِ يَقُولُ ونَ ءَامَ نَّا بِ هِۦ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّ نَا وَ مَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّآ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْ أَلْبَٰبِ
It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.
4:59
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ أَطِيعُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَ أَطِيعُ وا۟ ٱل رَّسُولَ وَ أُو۟لِى ٱلْ أَمْرِ مِن كُمْ فَ إِن تَنَٰزَعْ تُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ فَ رُدُّ و هُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱل رَّسُولِ إِن كُن تُمْ تُؤْمِنُ ونَ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَ أَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.
7:53
هَلْ يَنظُرُ ونَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيلَ هُۥ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى تَأْوِيلُ هُۥ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ نَسُ و هُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّ نَا بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ فَ هَل لَّ نَا مِن شُفَعَآءَ فَ يَشْفَعُ وا۟ لَ نَآ أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَ نَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُ نَّا نَعْمَلُ قَدْ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ ضَلَّ عَنْ هُم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَفْتَرُ ونَ
Do they await except its result? The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than we used to do?" They will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.
