11:3
وَ أَنِ ٱسْتَغْفِرُ وا۟ رَبَّ كُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُ وٓا۟ إِلَيْ هِ يُمَتِّعْ كُم مَّتَٰعًا حَسَنًا إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَ يُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِى فَضْلٍ فَضْلَ هُۥ وَ إِن تَوَلَّ وْا۟ فَ إِنِّ ىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْ كُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ كَبِيرٍ
And [saying], "Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor. But if you turn away, then indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.
12:40
مَا تَعْبُدُ ونَ مِن دُونِ هِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَسْمَآءً سَمَّيْ تُمُو هَآ أَنتُمْ وَ ءَابَآؤُ كُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَا مِن سُلْطَٰنٍ إِنِ ٱلْ حُكْمُ إِلَّا لِ لَّهِ أَمَرَ أَ لَّا تَعْبُدُ وٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱل دِّينُ ٱلْ قَيِّمُ وَ لَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱل نَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُ ونَ
You worship not besides Him except [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. Legislation is not but for Allah. He has commanded that you worship not except Him. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.
13:2
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِ غَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَ وْنَ هَا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْ عَرْشِ وَ سَخَّرَ ٱل شَّمْسَ وَ ٱلْ قَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْ أَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْ ءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّ كُم بِ لِقَآءِ رَبِّ كُمْ تُوقِنُ ونَ
It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.
13:33
أَ فَ مَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍۭ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ جَعَلُ وا۟ لِ لَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلْ سَمُّ و هُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّـُٔ ونَ هُۥ بِ مَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ أَم بِ ظَٰهِرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ قَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ مَكْرُ هُمْ وَ صُدُّ وا۟ عَنِ ٱل سَّبِيلِ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned, [like any other]? But to Allah they have attributed partners. Say, "Name them. Or do you inform Him of that which He knows not upon the earth or of what is apparent of speech?" Rather, their [own] plan has been made attractive to those who disbelieve, and they have been averted from the way. And whomever Allah leaves astray - there will be for him no guide.
14:10
قَالَتْ رُسُلُ هُمْ أَ فِى ٱللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ يَدْعُو كُمْ لِ يَغْفِرَ لَ كُم مِّن ذُنُوبِ كُمْ وَ يُؤَخِّرَ كُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى قَالُ وٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُ نَا تُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَصُدُّ و نَا عَ مَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُ نَا فَ أْتُ و نَا بِ سُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."
16:61
وَ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱل نَّاسَ بِ ظُلْمِ هِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْ هَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَ لَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُ هُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُ هُمْ لَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُ ونَ سَاعَةً وَ لَا يَسْتَقْدِمُ ونَ
And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].
20:129
وَ لَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّ كَ لَ كَانَ لِزَامًا وَ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى
And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, punishment would have been an obligation [due immediately], and [if not for] a specified term [decreed].
22:33
لَ كُمْ فِي هَا مَنَٰفِعُ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ مَحِلُّ هَآ إِلَى ٱلْ بَيْتِ ٱلْ عَتِيقِ
For you the animals marked for sacrifice are benefits for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the ancient House.
22:5
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل نَّاسُ إِن كُن تُمْ فِى رَيْبٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ بَعْثِ فَ إِنَّ ا خَلَقْ نَٰ كُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَ غَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّ نُبَيِّنَ لَ كُمْ وَ نُقِرُّ فِى ٱلْ أَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَآءُ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُ كُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَشُدَّ كُمْ وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْ عُمُرِ لِ كَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْـًٔا وَ تَرَى ٱلْ أَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَ إِذَآ أَنزَلْ نَا عَلَيْ هَا ٱلْ مَآءَ ٱهْتَزَّتْ وَ رَبَتْ وَ أَنۢبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍ
O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.
22:78
وَ جَٰهِدُ وا۟ فِى ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِ هِۦ هُوَ ٱجْتَبَىٰ كُمْ وَ مَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْ كُمْ فِى ٱل دِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ مِّلَّةَ أَبِي كُمْ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ هُوَ سَمَّىٰ كُمُ ٱلْ مُسْلِمِينَ مِن قَبْلُ وَ فِى هَٰذَا لِ يَكُونَ ٱل رَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ تَكُونُ وا۟ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱل نَّاسِ فَ أَقِيمُ وا۟ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ وَ ءَاتُ وا۟ ٱل زَّكَوٰةَ وَ ٱعْتَصِمُ وا۟ بِ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ مَوْلَىٰ كُمْ فَ نِعْمَ ٱلْ مَوْلَىٰ وَ نِعْمَ ٱل نَّصِيرُ
And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.
29:53
وَ يَسْتَعْجِلُ ونَ كَ بِ ٱلْ عَذَابِ وَ لَوْلَآ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّ جَآءَ هُمُ ٱلْ عَذَابُ وَ لَ يَأْتِيَ نَّ هُم بَغْتَةً وَ هُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُ ونَ
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.
2:282
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِذَا تَدَايَن تُم بِ دَيْنٍ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَ ٱكْتُبُ و هُ وَ لْ يَكْتُب بَّيْنَ كُمْ كَاتِبٌۢ بِ ٱلْ عَدْلِ وَ لَا يَأْبَ كَاتِبٌ أَن يَكْتُبَ كَ مَا عَلَّمَ هُ ٱللَّهُ فَ لْ يَكْتُبْ وَ لْ يُمْلِلِ ٱلَّذِى عَلَيْ هِ ٱلْ حَقُّ وَ لْ يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ هُۥ وَ لَا يَبْخَسْ مِنْ هُ شَيْـًٔا فَ إِن كَانَ ٱلَّذِى عَلَيْ هِ ٱلْ حَقُّ سَفِيهًا أَوْ ضَعِيفًا أَوْ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَن يُمِلَّ هُوَ فَ لْ يُمْلِلْ وَلِيُّ هُۥ بِ ٱلْ عَدْلِ وَ ٱسْتَشْهِدُ وا۟ شَهِيدَيْنِ مِن رِّجَالِ كُمْ فَ إِن لَّمْ يَكُونَ ا رَجُلَيْنِ فَ رَجُلٌ وَ ٱمْرَأَتَانِ مِ مَّن تَرْضَ وْنَ مِنَ ٱل شُّهَدَآءِ أَن تَضِلَّ إِحْدَىٰ هُمَا فَ تُذَكِّرَ إِحْدَىٰ هُمَا ٱلْ أُخْرَىٰ وَ لَا يَأْبَ ٱل شُّهَدَآءُ إِذَا مَا دُعُ وا۟ وَ لَا تَسْـَٔمُ وٓا۟ أَن تَكْتُبُ و هُ صَغِيرًا أَوْ كَبِيرًا إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلِ هِۦ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَ أَقْوَمُ لِ ل شَّهَٰدَةِ وَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَ لَّا تَرْتَابُ وٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ تِجَٰرَةً حَاضِرَةً تُدِيرُ ونَ هَا بَيْنَ كُمْ فَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْ كُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَ لَّا تَكْتُبُ و هَا وَ أَشْهِدُ وٓا۟ إِذَا تَبَايَعْ تُمْ وَ لَا يُضَآرَّ كَاتِبٌ وَ لَا شَهِيدٌ وَ إِن تَفْعَلُ وا۟ فَ إِنَّ هُۥ فُسُوقٌۢ بِ كُمْ وَ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَ يُعَلِّمُ كُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَ ٱللَّهُ بِ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down. And let a scribe write [it] between you in justice. Let no scribe refuse to write as Allah has taught him. So let him write and let the one who has the obligation dictate. And let him fear Allah, his Lord, and not leave anything out of it. But if the one who has the obligation is of limited understanding or weak or unable to dictate himself, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And bring to witness two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her. And let not the witnesses refuse when they are called upon. And do not be [too] weary to write it, whether it is small or large, for its [specified] term. That is more just in the sight of Allah and stronger as evidence and more likely to prevent doubt between you, except when it is an immediate transaction which you conduct among yourselves. For [then] there is no blame upon you if you do not write it. And take witnesses when you conclude a contract. Let no scribe be harmed or any witness. For if you do so, indeed, it is [grave] disobedience in you. And fear Allah. And Allah teaches you. And Allah is Knowing of all things.
30:8
أَ وَ لَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُ وا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِ هِم مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضَ وَ مَا بَيْنَ هُمَآ إِلَّا بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱل نَّاسِ بِ لِقَآئِ رَبِّ هِمْ لَ كَٰفِرُونَ
Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.
31:29
أَ لَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّ يْلَ فِى ٱل نَّهَارِ وَ يُولِجُ ٱل نَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ سَخَّرَ ٱل شَّمْسَ وَ ٱلْ قَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ مَا تَعْمَلُ ونَ خَبِيرٌ
Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted?
35:13
يُولِجُ ٱلَّ يْلَ فِى ٱل نَّهَارِ وَ يُولِجُ ٱل نَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ سَخَّرَ ٱل شَّمْسَ وَ ٱلْ قَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ كُمْ لَ هُ ٱلْ مُلْكُ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُ ونَ مِن دُونِ هِۦ مَا يَمْلِكُ ونَ مِن قِطْمِيرٍ
He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed.
35:45
وَ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱل نَّاسَ بِ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِ هَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَ لَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُ هُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُ هُمْ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِ عِبَادِ هِۦ بَصِيرًۢا
And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.
39:42
ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلْ أَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِ هَا وَ ٱلَّتِى لَمْ تَمُتْ فِى مَنَامِ هَا فَ يُمْسِكُ ٱلَّتِى قَضَىٰ عَلَيْ هَا ٱلْ مَوْتَ وَ يُرْسِلُ ٱلْ أُخْرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَ ءَايَٰتٍ لِّ قَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُ ونَ
Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.
39:5
خَلَقَ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضَ بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّ يْلَ عَلَى ٱل نَّهَارِ وَ يُكَوِّرُ ٱل نَّهَارَ عَلَى ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ سَخَّرَ ٱل شَّمْسَ وَ ٱلْ قَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى أَلَا هُوَ ٱلْ عَزِيزُ ٱلْ غَفَّٰرُ
He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.
3:36
فَ لَمَّا وَضَعَتْ هَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّ ى وَضَعْ تُ هَآ أُنثَىٰ وَ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِ مَا وَضَعَتْ وَ لَيْسَ ٱل ذَّكَرُ كَ ٱلْ أُنثَىٰ وَ إِنِّ ى سَمَّيْ تُ هَا مَرْيَمَ وَ إِنِّ ىٓ أُعِيذُ هَا بِ كَ وَ ذُرِّيَّتَ هَا مِنَ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنِ ٱل رَّجِيمِ
But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah]."
40:67
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ كُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ كُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَشُدَّ كُمْ ثُمَّ لِ تَكُونُ وا۟ شُيُوخًا وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبْلُ وَ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason.
42:14
وَ مَا تَفَرَّقُ وٓا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَ هُمُ ٱلْ عِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ لَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّ كَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُورِثُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِمْ لَ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْ هُ مُرِيبٍ
And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord [postponing the penalty] until a specified time, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, those who were granted inheritance of the Scripture after them are, concerning it, in disquieting doubt.
46:3
مَا خَلَقْ نَا ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضَ وَ مَا بَيْنَ هُمَآ إِلَّا بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ عَ مَّآ أُنذِرُ وا۟ مُعْرِضُونَ
We did not create the heavens and earth and what is between them except in truth and [for] a specified term. But those who disbelieve, from that of which they are warned, are turning away.
53:23
إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّآ أَسْمَآءٌ سَمَّيْ تُمُو هَآ أَنتُمْ وَ ءَابَآؤُ كُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَا مِن سُلْطَٰنٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُ ونَ إِلَّا ٱل ظَّنَّ وَ مَا تَهْوَى ٱلْ أَنفُسُ وَ لَ قَدْ جَآءَ هُم مِّن رَّبِّ هِمُ ٱلْ هُدَىٰٓ
They are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance.
53:27
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ بِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ لَ يُسَمُّ ونَ ٱلْ مَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ ٱلْ أُنثَىٰ
Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels female names,
6:2
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ كُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلًا وَ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى عِندَ هُۥ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُ ونَ
It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time [known] to Him; then [still] you are in dispute.
6:60
وَ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَتَوَفَّىٰ كُم بِ ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ يَعْلَمُ مَا جَرَحْ تُم بِ ٱل نَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ كُمْ فِي هِ لِ يُقْضَىٰٓ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ إِلَيْ هِ مَرْجِعُ كُمْ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُ كُم بِ مَا كُن تُمْ تَعْمَلُ ونَ
And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.
71:4
يَغْفِرْ لَ كُم مِّن ذُنُوبِ كُمْ وَ يُؤَخِّرْ كُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ لَوْ كُن تُمْ تَعْلَمُ ونَ
Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.' "
76:18
عَيْنًا فِي هَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًا
[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.
7:71
قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْ كُم مِّن رَّبِّ كُمْ رِجْسٌ وَ غَضَبٌ أَ تُجَٰدِلُ ونَ نِى فِىٓ أَسْمَآءٍ سَمَّيْ تُمُو هَآ أَنتُمْ وَ ءَابَآؤُ كُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هَا مِن سُلْطَٰنٍ فَ ٱنتَظِرُ وٓا۟ إِنِّ ى مَعَ كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ مُنتَظِرِينَ
[Hud] said, "Already have defilement and anger fallen upon you from your Lord. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."
