كَمْ أَهْلَكْ نَا مِن قَبْلِ هِم مِّن قَرْنٍ فَ نَادَ وا۟ وَّ لَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ
How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape.
