12:22
وَ لَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّ هُۥٓ ءَاتَيْ نَٰ هُ حُكْمًا وَ عِلْمًا وَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْ مُحْسِنِينَ
And when Joseph reached maturity, We gave him judgment and knowledge. And thus We reward the doers of good.
13:14
لَ هُۥ دَعْوَةُ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُ ونَ مِن دُونِ هِۦ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُ ونَ لَ هُم بِ شَىْءٍ إِلَّا كَ بَٰسِطِ كَفَّيْ هِ إِلَى ٱلْ مَآءِ لِ يَبْلُغَ فَا هُ وَ مَا هُوَ بِ بَٰلِغِ هِۦ وَ مَا دُعَآءُ ٱلْ كَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ
To Him [alone] is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water [from afar, calling it] to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [thus]. And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error [i.e. futility].
16:7
وَ تَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَ كُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُ وا۟ بَٰلِغِي هِ إِلَّا بِ شِقِّ ٱلْ أَنفُسِ إِنَّ رَبَّ كُمْ لَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.
17:23
وَ قَضَىٰ رَبُّ كَ أَ لَّا تَعْبُدُ وٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ وَ بِ ٱلْ وَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَٰنًا إِمَّا يَبْلُغَ نَّ عِندَ كَ ٱلْ كِبَرَ أَحَدُ هُمَآ أَوْ كِلَا هُمَا فَ لَا تَقُل لَّ هُمَآ أُفٍّ وَ لَا تَنْهَرْ هُمَا وَ قُل لَّ هُمَا قَوْلًا كَرِيمًا
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.
17:34
وَ لَا تَقْرَبُ وا۟ مَالَ ٱلْ يَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِ ٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّ هُۥ وَ أَوْفُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ عَهْدِ إِنَّ ٱلْ عَهْدَ كَانَ مَسْـُٔولًا
And do not approach the property of an orphan, except in the way that is best, until he reaches maturity. And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned.
17:37
وَ لَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّ كَ لَن تَخْرِقَ ٱلْ أَرْضَ وَ لَن تَبْلُغَ ٱلْ جِبَالَ طُولًا
And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height.
18:60
وَ إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِ فَتَىٰ هُ لَآ أَبْرَحُ حَتَّىٰٓ أَبْلُغَ مَجْمَعَ ٱلْ بَحْرَيْنِ أَوْ أَمْضِىَ حُقُبًا
And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period."
18:61
فَ لَمَّا بَلَغَ ا مَجْمَعَ بَيْنِ هِمَا نَسِيَ ا حُوتَ هُمَا فَ ٱتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَ هُۥ فِى ٱلْ بَحْرِ سَرَبًا
But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away.
18:76
قَالَ إِن سَأَلْ تُ كَ عَن شَىْءٍۭ بَعْدَ هَا فَ لَا تُصَٰحِبْ نِى قَدْ بَلَغْ تَ مِن لَّدُنِّ ى عُذْرًا
[Moses] said, "If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse."
18:82
وَ أَمَّا ٱلْ جِدَارُ فَ كَانَ لِ غُلَٰمَيْنِ يَتِيمَيْنِ فِى ٱلْ مَدِينَةِ وَ كَانَ تَحْتَ هُۥ كَنزٌ لَّ هُمَا وَ كَانَ أَبُو هُمَا صَٰلِحًا فَ أَرَادَ رَبُّ كَ أَن يَبْلُغَ آ أَشُدَّ هُمَا وَ يَسْتَخْرِجَ ا كَنزَ هُمَا رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّ كَ وَ مَا فَعَلْ تُ هُۥ عَنْ أَمْرِ ى ذَٰلِكَ تَأْوِيلُ مَا لَمْ تَسْطِع عَّلَيْ هِ صَبْرًا
And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience."
18:86
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ مَغْرِبَ ٱل شَّمْسِ وَجَدَ هَا تَغْرُبُ فِى عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ وَ وَجَدَ عِندَ هَا قَوْمًا قُلْ نَا يَٰ ذَا ٱلْ قَرْنَيْنِ إِمَّآ أَن تُعَذِّبَ وَ إِمَّآ أَن تَتَّخِذَ فِي هِمْ حُسْنًا
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."
18:90
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ مَطْلِعَ ٱل شَّمْسِ وَجَدَ هَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ لَّمْ نَجْعَل لَّ هُم مِّن دُونِ هَا سِتْرًا
Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield.
18:93
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ بَيْنَ ٱل سَّدَّيْنِ وَجَدَ مِن دُونِ هِمَا قَوْمًا لَّا يَكَادُ ونَ يَفْقَهُ ونَ قَوْلًا
Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech.
19:8
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِ ى غُلَٰمٌ وَ كَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِ ى عَاقِرًا وَ قَدْ بَلَغْ تُ مِنَ ٱلْ كِبَرِ عِتِيًّا
He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?"
22:5
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل نَّاسُ إِن كُن تُمْ فِى رَيْبٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ بَعْثِ فَ إِنَّ ا خَلَقْ نَٰ كُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَ غَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّ نُبَيِّنَ لَ كُمْ وَ نُقِرُّ فِى ٱلْ أَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَآءُ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُ كُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَشُدَّ كُمْ وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْ عُمُرِ لِ كَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْـًٔا وَ تَرَى ٱلْ أَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَ إِذَآ أَنزَلْ نَا عَلَيْ هَا ٱلْ مَآءَ ٱهْتَزَّتْ وَ رَبَتْ وَ أَنۢبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍ
O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.
24:58
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ لِ يَسْتَـْٔذِن كُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُ كُمْ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُ وا۟ ٱلْ حُلُمَ مِن كُمْ ثَلَٰثَ مَرَّٰتٍ مِّن قَبْلِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْ فَجْرِ وَ حِينَ تَضَعُ ونَ ثِيَابَ كُم مِّنَ ٱل ظَّهِيرَةِ وَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْ عِشَآءِ ثَلَٰثُ عَوْرَٰتٍ لَّ كُمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ لَا عَلَيْ هِمْ جُنَاحٌۢ بَعْدَ هُنَّ طَوَّٰفُونَ عَلَيْ كُم بَعْضُ كُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَ كُمُ ٱلْ ءَايَٰتِ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.
24:59
وَ إِذَا بَلَغَ ٱلْ أَطْفَٰلُ مِن كُمُ ٱلْ حُلُمَ فَ لْ يَسْتَـْٔذِنُ وا۟ كَ مَا ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ هِمْ كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَ كُمْ ءَايَٰتِ هِۦ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
And when the children among you reach puberty, let them ask permission [at all times] as those before them have done. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.
28:14
وَ لَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّ هُۥ وَ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ ءَاتَيْ نَٰ هُ حُكْمًا وَ عِلْمًا وَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْ مُحْسِنِينَ
And when he attained his full strength and was [mentally] mature, We bestowed upon him judgement and knowledge. And thus do We reward the doers of good.
2:196
وَ أَتِمُّ وا۟ ٱلْ حَجَّ وَ ٱلْ عُمْرَةَ لِ لَّهِ فَ إِنْ أُحْصِرْ تُمْ فَ مَا ٱسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ ٱلْ هَدْىِ وَ لَا تَحْلِقُ وا۟ رُءُوسَ كُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ ٱلْ هَدْىُ مَحِلَّ هُۥ فَ مَن كَانَ مِن كُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ بِ هِۦٓ أَذًى مِّن رَّأْسِ هِۦ فَ فِدْيَةٌ مِّن صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ فَ إِذَآ أَمِن تُمْ فَ مَن تَمَتَّعَ بِ ٱلْ عُمْرَةِ إِلَى ٱلْ حَجِّ فَ مَا ٱسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ ٱلْ هَدْىِ فَ مَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَ صِيَامُ ثَلَٰثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِى ٱلْ حَجِّ وَ سَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْ تُمْ تِلْكَ عَشَرَةٌ كَامِلَةٌ ذَٰلِكَ لِ مَن لَّمْ يَكُنْ أَهْلُ هُۥ حَاضِرِى ٱلْ مَسْجِدِ ٱلْ حَرَامِ وَ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَ ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْ عِقَابِ
And complete the Hajj and 'umrah for Allah. But if you are prevented, then [offer] what can be obtained with ease of sacrificial animals. And do not shave your heads until the sacrificial animal has reached its place of slaughter. And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head [making shaving necessary must offer] a ransom of fasting [three days] or charity or sacrifice. And when you are secure, then whoever performs 'umrah [during the Hajj months] followed by Hajj [offers] what can be obtained with ease of sacrificial animals. And whoever cannot find [or afford such an animal] - then a fast of three days during Hajj and of seven when you have returned [home]. Those are ten complete [days]. This is for those whose family is not in the area of al-Masjid al-Haram. And fear Allah and know that Allah is severe in penalty.
2:231
وَ إِذَا طَلَّقْ تُمُ ٱل نِّسَآءَ فَ بَلَغْ نَ أَجَلَ هُنَّ فَ أَمْسِكُ و هُنَّ بِ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُ و هُنَّ بِ مَعْرُوفٍ وَ لَا تُمْسِكُ و هُنَّ ضِرَارًا لِّ تَعْتَدُ وا۟ وَ مَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَ قَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَ هُۥ وَ لَا تَتَّخِذُ وٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَ ٱذْكُرُ وا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ مَآ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْ كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ وَ ٱلْ حِكْمَةِ يَعِظُ كُم بِ هِۦ وَ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَ ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book and wisdom by which He instructs you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Knowing of all things.
2:232
وَ إِذَا طَلَّقْ تُمُ ٱل نِّسَآءَ فَ بَلَغْ نَ أَجَلَ هُنَّ فَ لَا تَعْضُلُ و هُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْ نَ أَزْوَٰجَ هُنَّ إِذَا تَرَٰضَ وْا۟ بَيْنَ هُم بِ ٱلْ مَعْرُوفِ ذَٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِ هِۦ مَن كَانَ مِن كُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَزْكَىٰ لَ كُمْ وَ أَطْهَرُ وَ ٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَ أَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُ ونَ
And when you divorce women and they have fulfilled their term, do not prevent them from remarrying their [former] husbands if they agree among themselves on an acceptable basis. That is instructed to whoever of you believes in Allah and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allah knows and you know not.
2:234
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّ وْنَ مِن كُمْ وَ يَذَرُ ونَ أَزْوَٰجًا يَتَرَبَّصْ نَ بِ أَنفُسِ هِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَ عَشْرًا فَ إِذَا بَلَغْ نَ أَجَلَ هُنَّ فَ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْ كُمْ فِي مَا فَعَلْ نَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِ هِنَّ بِ ٱلْ مَعْرُوفِ وَ ٱللَّهُ بِ مَا تَعْمَلُ ونَ خَبِيرٌ
And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind - they, [the wives, shall] wait four months and ten [days]. And when they have fulfilled their term, then there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in an acceptable manner. And Allah is [fully] Acquainted with what you do.
2:235
وَ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْ كُمْ فِي مَا عَرَّضْ تُم بِ هِۦ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ ٱل نِّسَآءِ أَوْ أَكْنَن تُمْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِ كُمْ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّ كُمْ سَ تَذْكُرُ ونَ هُنَّ وَ لَٰكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُ و هُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّآ أَن تَقُولُ وا۟ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا وَ لَا تَعْزِمُ وا۟ عُقْدَةَ ٱل نِّكَاحِ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبُ أَجَلَ هُۥ وَ ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِ كُمْ فَ ٱحْذَرُ و هُ وَ ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
There is no blame upon you for that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women or for what you conceal within yourselves. Allah knows that you will have them in mind. But do not promise them secretly except for saying a proper saying. And do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period reaches its end. And know that Allah knows what is within yourselves, so beware of Him. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
33:10
إِذْ جَآءُ و كُم مِّن فَوْقِ كُمْ وَ مِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِن كُمْ وَ إِذْ زَاغَتِ ٱلْ أَبْصَٰرُ وَ بَلَغَتِ ٱلْ قُلُوبُ ٱلْ حَنَاجِرَ وَ تَظُنُّ ونَ بِ ٱللَّهِ ٱل ظُّنُونَا۠
[Remember] when they came at you from above you and from below you, and when eyes shifted [in fear], and hearts reached the throats and you assumed about Allah [various] assumptions.
34:45
وَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ هِمْ وَ مَا بَلَغُ وا۟ مِعْشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيْ نَٰ هُمْ فَ كَذَّبُ وا۟ رُسُلِ ى فَ كَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach.
37:102
فَ لَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَ هُ ٱل سَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰ بُنَىَّ إِنِّ ىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْ مَنَامِ أَنِّ ىٓ أَذْبَحُ كَ فَ ٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ قَالَ يَٰٓ أَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَ تَجِدُ نِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱل صَّٰبِرِينَ
And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast."
3:40
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِ ى غُلَٰمٌ وَ قَدْ بَلَغَ نِىَ ٱلْ كِبَرُ وَ ٱمْرَأَتِ ى عَاقِرٌ قَالَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ ٱللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَآءُ
He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when I have reached old age and my wife is barren?" The angel said, "Such is Allah; He does what He wills."
40:36
وَ قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰ هَٰمَٰنُ ٱبْنِ لِ ى صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّ ىٓ أَبْلُغُ ٱلْ أَسْبَٰبَ
And Pharaoh said, "O Haman, construct for me a tower that I might reach the ways -
40:56
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُ ونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِ غَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰ هُمْ إِن فِى صُدُورِ هِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِ بَٰلِغِي هِ فَ ٱسْتَعِذْ بِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ هُۥ هُوَ ٱل سَّمِيعُ ٱلْ بَصِيرُ
Indeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] authority having come to them - there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing.
40:67
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ كُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ كُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَشُدَّ كُمْ ثُمَّ لِ تَكُونُ وا۟ شُيُوخًا وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبْلُ وَ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason.
40:80
وَ لَ كُمْ فِي هَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَ لِ تَبْلُغُ وا۟ عَلَيْ هَا حَاجَةً فِى صُدُورِ كُمْ وَ عَلَيْ هَا وَ عَلَى ٱلْ فُلْكِ تُحْمَلُ ونَ
And for you therein are [other] benefits and that you may realize upon them a need which is in your breasts; and upon them and upon ships you are carried.
46:15
وَ وَصَّيْ نَا ٱلْ إِنسَٰنَ بِ وَٰلِدَيْ هِ إِحْسَٰنًا حَمَلَتْ هُ أُمُّ هُۥ كُرْهًا وَ وَضَعَتْ هُ كُرْهًا وَ حَمْلُ هُۥ وَ فِصَٰلُ هُۥ ثَلَٰثُونَ شَهْرًا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّ هُۥ وَ بَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْ نِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَ كَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْ تَ عَلَىَّ وَ عَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَ أَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰ هُ وَ أَصْلِحْ لِ ى فِى ذُرِّيَّتِ ىٓ إِنِّ ى تُبْ تُ إِلَيْ كَ وَ إِنِّ ى مِنَ ٱلْ مُسْلِمِينَ
And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
48:25
هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ وَ صَدُّ و كُمْ عَنِ ٱلْ مَسْجِدِ ٱلْ حَرَامِ وَ ٱلْ هَدْىَ مَعْكُوفًا أَن يَبْلُغَ مَحِلَّ هُۥ وَ لَوْلَا رِجَالٌ مُّؤْمِنُونَ وَ نِسَآءٌ مُّؤْمِنَٰتٌ لَّمْ تَعْلَمُ و هُمْ أَن تَطَـُٔ و هُمْ فَ تُصِيبَ كُم مِّنْ هُم مَّعَرَّةٌۢ بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ لِّ يُدْخِلَ ٱللَّهُ فِى رَحْمَتِ هِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ لَوْ تَزَيَّلُ وا۟ لَ عَذَّبْ نَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ مِنْ هُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
They are the ones who disbelieved and obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram while the offering was prevented from reaching its place of sacrifice. And if not for believing men and believing women whom you did not know - that you might trample them and there would befall you because of them dishonor without [your] knowledge - [you would have been permitted to enter Makkah]. [This was so] that Allah might admit to His mercy whom He willed. If they had been apart [from them], We would have punished those who disbelieved among them with painful punishment
4:6
وَ ٱبْتَلُ وا۟ ٱلْ يَتَٰمَىٰ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغُ وا۟ ٱل نِّكَاحَ فَ إِنْ ءَانَسْ تُم مِّنْ هُمْ رُشْدًا فَ ٱدْفَعُ وٓا۟ إِلَيْ هِمْ أَمْوَٰلَ هُمْ وَ لَا تَأْكُلُ و هَآ إِسْرَافًا وَ بِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُ وا۟ وَ مَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَ لْ يَسْتَعْفِفْ وَ مَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَ لْ يَأْكُلْ بِ ٱلْ مَعْرُوفِ فَ إِذَا دَفَعْ تُمْ إِلَيْ هِمْ أَمْوَٰلَ هُمْ فَ أَشْهِدُ وا۟ عَلَيْ هِمْ وَ كَفَىٰ بِ ٱللَّهِ حَسِيبًا
And test the orphans [in their abilities] until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgement, release their property to them. And do not consume it excessively and quickly, [anticipating] that they will grow up. And whoever, [when acting as guardian], is self-sufficient should refrain [from taking a fee]; and whoever is poor - let him take according to what is acceptable. Then when you release their property to them, bring witnesses upon them. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.
54:5
حِكْمَةٌۢ بَٰلِغَةٌ فَ مَا تُغْنِ ٱل نُّذُرُ
Extensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them].
56:83
فَ لَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْ حُلْقُومَ
Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat
5:95
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ لَا تَقْتُلُ وا۟ ٱل صَّيْدَ وَ أَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَ مَن قَتَلَ هُۥ مِن كُم مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَ جَزَآءٌ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ ٱل نَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِ هِۦ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّن كُمْ هَدْيًۢا بَٰلِغَ ٱلْ كَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّٰرَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَٰكِينَ أَوْ عَدْلُ ذَٰلِكَ صِيَامًا لِّ يَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِ هِۦ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَ مَّا سَلَفَ وَ مَنْ عَادَ فَ يَنتَقِمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنْ هُ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ
O you who have believed, do not kill game while you are in the state of ihram. And whoever of you kills it intentionally - the penalty is an equivalent from sacrificial animals to what he killed, as judged by two just men among you as an offering [to Allah] delivered to the Ka'bah, or an expiation: the feeding of needy people or the equivalent of that in fasting, that he may taste the consequence of his deed. Allah has pardoned what is past; but whoever returns [to violation], then Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.
65:2
فَ إِذَا بَلَغْ نَ أَجَلَ هُنَّ فَ أَمْسِكُ و هُنَّ بِ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ فَارِقُ و هُنَّ بِ مَعْرُوفٍ وَ أَشْهِدُ وا۟ ذَوَىْ عَدْلٍ مِّن كُمْ وَ أَقِيمُ وا۟ ٱل شَّهَٰدَةَ لِ لَّهِ ذَٰلِكُمْ يُوعَظُ بِ هِۦ مَن كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ وَ مَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّ هُۥ مَخْرَجًا
And when they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms. And bring to witness two just men from among you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allah. That is instructed to whoever should believe in Allah and the Last day. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out
65:3
وَ يَرْزُقْ هُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ وَ مَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَ هُوَ حَسْبُ هُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَٰلِغُ أَمْرِ هِۦ قَدْ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدْرًا
And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.
68:39
أَمْ لَ كُمْ أَيْمَٰنٌ عَلَيْ نَا بَٰلِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ إِنَّ لَ كُمْ لَ مَا تَحْكُمُ ونَ
Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge?
6:128
وَ يَوْمَ يَحْشُرُ هُمْ جَمِيعًا يَٰ مَعْشَرَ ٱلْ جِنِّ قَدِ ٱسْتَكْثَرْ تُم مِّنَ ٱلْ إِنسِ وَ قَالَ أَوْلِيَآؤُ هُم مِّنَ ٱلْ إِنسِ رَبَّ نَا ٱسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُ نَا بِ بَعْضٍ وَ بَلَغْ نَآ أَجَلَ نَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَجَّلْ تَ لَ نَا قَالَ ٱل نَّارُ مَثْوَىٰ كُمْ خَٰلِدِينَ فِي هَآ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term, which you appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."
6:149
قُلْ فَ لِ لَّهِ ٱلْ حُجَّةُ ٱلْ بَٰلِغَةُ فَ لَوْ شَآءَ لَ هَدَىٰ كُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Say, "With Allah is the far-reaching argument. If He had willed, He would have guided you all."
6:152
وَ لَا تَقْرَبُ وا۟ مَالَ ٱلْ يَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِ ٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّ هُۥ وَ أَوْفُ وا۟ ٱلْ كَيْلَ وَ ٱلْ مِيزَانَ بِ ٱلْ قِسْطِ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَ هَا وَ إِذَا قُلْ تُمْ فَ ٱعْدِلُ وا۟ وَ لَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ وَ بِ عَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْفُ وا۟ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰ كُم بِ هِۦ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَذَكَّرُ ونَ
And do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you testify, be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember.
6:19
قُلْ أَىُّ شَىْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَٰدَةً قُلِ ٱللَّهُ شَهِيدٌۢ بَيْنِ ى وَ بَيْنَ كُمْ وَ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْ قُرْءَانُ لِ أُنذِرَ كُم بِ هِۦ وَ مَنۢ بَلَغَ أَ ئِنَّ كُمْ لَ تَشْهَدُ ونَ أَنَّ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً أُخْرَىٰ قُل لَّآ أَشْهَدُ قُلْ إِنَّ مَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ وَ إِنَّ نِى بَرِىٓءٌ مِّ مَّا تُشْرِكُ ونَ
Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, "Allah is witness between me and you. And this Qur'an was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?" Say, "I will not testify [with you]." Say, "Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with Him]."
75:26
كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱل تَّرَاقِىَ
No! When the soul has reached the collar bones
7:135
فَ لَمَّا كَشَفْ نَا عَنْ هُمُ ٱل رِّجْزَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ هُم بَٰلِغُو هُ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُ ونَ
But when We removed the punishment from them until a term which they were to reach, then at once they broke their word.
