10:100
وَ مَا كَانَ لِ نَفْسٍ أَن تُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا بِ إِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَ يَجْعَلُ ٱل رِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason.
10:16
قُل لَّوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَلَوْ تُ هُۥ عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ لَآ أَدْرَىٰ كُم بِ هِۦ فَ قَدْ لَبِثْ تُ فِي كُمْ عُمُرًا مِّن قَبْلِ هِۦٓ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Say, "If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?"
10:42
وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ إِلَيْ كَ أَ فَ أَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱل صُّمَّ وَ لَوْ كَانُ وا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear, although they will not use reason?
11:51
يَٰ قَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُ كُمْ عَلَيْ هِ أَجْرًا إِنْ أَجْرِ ىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَ نِىٓ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
O my people, I do not ask you for it any reward. My reward is only from the one who created me. Then will you not reason?
12:109
وَ مَآ أَرْسَلْ نَا مِن قَبْلِ كَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْ هِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْ قُرَىٰٓ أَ فَ لَمْ يَسِيرُ وا۟ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ فَ يَنظُرُ وا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ هِمْ وَ لَ دَارُ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّ لَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَ وْا۟ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities. So have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? And the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah; then will you not reason?
12:2
إِنَّ آ أَنزَلْ نَٰ هُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.
13:4
وَ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُّتَجَٰوِرَٰتٌ وَ جَنَّٰتٌ مِّنْ أَعْنَٰبٍ وَ زَرْعٌ وَ نَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَ غَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَىٰ بِ مَآءٍ وَٰحِدٍ وَ نُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَ هَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِى ٱلْ أُكُلِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَ ءَايَٰتٍ لِّ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And within the land are neighboring plots and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several from a root or otherwise, watered with one water; but We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.
16:12
وَ سَخَّرَ لَ كُمُ ٱلَّ يْلَ وَ ٱل نَّهَارَ وَ ٱل شَّمْسَ وَ ٱلْ قَمَرَ وَ ٱل نُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ بِ أَمْرِ هِۦٓ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَ ءَايَٰتٍ لِّ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.
16:67
وَ مِن ثَمَرَٰتِ ٱل نَّخِيلِ وَ ٱلْ أَعْنَٰبِ تَتَّخِذُ ونَ مِنْ هُ سَكَرًا وَ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَ ءَايَةً لِّ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason.
21:10
لَ قَدْ أَنزَلْ نَآ إِلَيْ كُمْ كِتَٰبًا فِي هِ ذِكْرُ كُمْ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Then will you not reason?
21:67
أُفٍّ لَّ كُمْ وَ لِ مَا تَعْبُدُ ونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Uff to you and to what you worship instead of Allah. Then will you not use reason?"
22:46
أَ فَ لَمْ يَسِيرُ وا۟ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ فَ تَكُونَ لَ هُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُ ونَ بِ هَآ أَوْ ءَاذَانٌ يَسْمَعُ ونَ بِ هَا فَ إِنَّ هَا لَا تَعْمَى ٱلْ أَبْصَٰرُ وَ لَٰكِن تَعْمَى ٱلْ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِى فِى ٱل صُّدُورِ
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
23:80
وَ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَ يُمِيتُ وَ لَ هُ ٱخْتِلَٰفُ ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ ٱل نَّهَارِ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason?
24:61
لَّيْسَ عَلَى ٱلْ أَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌ وَ لَا عَلَى ٱلْ أَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَ لَا عَلَى ٱلْ مَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَ لَا عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِ كُمْ أَن تَأْكُلُ وا۟ مِنۢ بُيُوتِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ ءَابَآئِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أُمَّهَٰتِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ إِخْوَٰنِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخَوَٰتِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَعْمَٰمِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّٰتِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخْوَٰلِ كُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ خَٰلَٰتِ كُمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكْ تُم مَّفَاتِحَ هُۥٓ أَوْ صَدِيقِ كُمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْ كُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَأْكُلُ وا۟ جَمِيعًا أَوْ أَشْتَاتًا فَ إِذَا دَخَلْ تُم بُيُوتًا فَ سَلِّمُ وا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِ كُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُبَٰرَكَةً طَيِّبَةً كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَ كُمُ ٱلْ ءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
There is not upon the blind [any] constraint nor upon the lame constraint nor upon the ill constraint nor upon yourselves when you eat from your [own] houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [from houses] whose keys you possess or [from the house] of your friend. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allah, blessed and good. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses [of ordinance] that you may understand.
25:44
أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَ هُمْ يَسْمَعُ ونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُ ونَ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَ ٱلْ أَنْعَٰمِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.
26:28
قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْ مَشْرِقِ وَ ٱلْ مَغْرِبِ وَ مَا بَيْنَ هُمَآ إِن كُن تُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
[Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason."
28:60
وَ مَآ أُوتِي تُم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَ مَتَٰعُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ زِينَتُ هَا وَ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَ أَبْقَىٰٓ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And whatever thing you [people] have been given - it is [only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allah is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?
29:35
وَ لَ قَد تَّرَكْ نَا مِنْ هَآ ءَايَةًۢ بَيِّنَةً لِّ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And We have certainly left of it a sign as clear evidence for a people who use reason.
29:43
وَ تِلْكَ ٱلْ أَمْثَٰلُ نَضْرِبُ هَا لِ ل نَّاسِ وَ مَا يَعْقِلُ هَآ إِلَّا ٱلْ عَٰلِمُونَ
And these examples We present to the people, but none will understand them except those of knowledge.
29:63
وَ لَ ئِن سَأَلْ تَ هُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱل سَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَ أَحْيَا بِ هِ ٱلْ أَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَوْتِ هَا لَ يَقُولُ نَّ ٱللَّهُ قُلِ ٱلْ حَمْدُ لِ لَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُ هُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say " Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah "; but most of them do not reason.
2:164
إِنَّ فِى خَلْقِ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ ٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ ٱل نَّهَارِ وَ ٱلْ فُلْكِ ٱلَّتِى تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْ بَحْرِ بِ مَا يَنفَعُ ٱل نَّاسَ وَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱل سَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٍ فَ أَحْيَا بِ هِ ٱلْ أَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِ هَا وَ بَثَّ فِي هَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ وَ تَصْرِيفِ ٱل رِّيَٰحِ وَ ٱل سَّحَابِ ٱلْ مُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ ٱل سَّمَآءِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ لَ ءَايَٰتٍ لِّ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.
2:170
وَ إِذَا قِيلَ لَ هُمُ ٱتَّبِعُ وا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُ وا۟ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَآ أَلْفَيْ نَا عَلَيْ هِ ءَابَآءَ نَآ أَ وَ لَوْ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُ هُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ شَيْـًٔا وَ لَا يَهْتَدُ ونَ
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?
2:171
وَ مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ كَ مَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى يَنْعِقُ بِ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَآءً وَ نِدَآءً صُمٌّۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْىٌ فَ هُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries cattle or sheep - deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.
2:242
كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَ كُمْ ءَايَٰتِ هِۦ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you might use reason.
2:44
أَ تَأْمُرُ ونَ ٱل نَّاسَ بِ ٱلْ بِرِّ وَ تَنسَ وْنَ أَنفُسَ كُمْ وَ أَنتُمْ تَتْلُ ونَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?
2:73
فَ قُلْ نَا ٱضْرِبُ و هُ بِ بَعْضِ هَا كَ ذَٰلِكَ يُحْىِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْ مَوْتَىٰ وَ يُرِي كُمْ ءَايَٰتِ هِۦ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
So, We said, "Strike the slain man with part of it." Thus does Allah bring the dead to life, and He shows you His signs that you might reason.
2:75
أَ فَ تَطْمَعُ ونَ أَن يُؤْمِنُ وا۟ لَ كُمْ وَ قَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ هُمْ يَسْمَعُ ونَ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُ ونَ هُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُ و هُ وَ هُمْ يَعْلَمُ ونَ
Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?
2:76
وَ إِذَا لَقُ وا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ قَالُ وٓا۟ ءَامَ نَّا وَ إِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُ هُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ قَالُ وٓا۟ أَ تُحَدِّثُ ونَ هُم بِ مَا فَتَحَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْ كُمْ لِ يُحَآجُّ و كُم بِ هِۦ عِندَ رَبِّ كُمْ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We have believed"; but when they are alone with one another, they say, "Do you talk to them about what Allah has revealed to you so they can argue with you about it before your Lord?" Then will you not reason?
30:24
وَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ هِۦ يُرِي كُمُ ٱلْ بَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَ طَمَعًا وَ يُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱل سَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَ يُحْىِۦ بِ هِ ٱلْ أَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِ هَآ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَ ءَايَٰتٍ لِّ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.
30:28
ضَرَبَ لَ كُم مَّثَلًا مِّنْ أَنفُسِ كُمْ هَل لَّ كُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُ كُم مِّن شُرَكَآءَ فِى مَا رَزَقْ نَٰ كُمْ فَ أَنتُمْ فِي هِ سَوَآءٌ تَخَافُ ونَ هُمْ كَ خِيفَتِ كُمْ أَنفُسَ كُمْ كَ ذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْ ءَايَٰتِ لِ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]? Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason.
36:62
وَ لَ قَدْ أَضَلَّ مِن كُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا أَ فَ لَمْ تَكُونُ وا۟ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
36:68
وَ مَن نُّعَمِّرْ هُ نُنَكِّسْ هُ فِى ٱلْ خَلْقِ أَ فَ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?
37:138
وَ بِ ٱلَّ يْلِ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And at night. Then will you not use reason?
39:43
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُ وا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ شُفَعَآءَ قُلْ أَ وَ لَوْ كَانُ وا۟ لَا يَمْلِكُ ونَ شَيْـًٔا وَ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
Or have they taken other than Allah as intercessors? Say, "Even though they do not possess [power over] anything, nor do they reason?"
3:118
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُ وا۟ بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِ كُمْ لَا يَأْلُ ونَ كُمْ خَبَالًا وَدُّ وا۟ مَا عَنِ تُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ ٱلْ بَغْضَآءُ مِنْ أَفْوَٰهِ هِمْ وَ مَا تُخْفِى صُدُورُ هُمْ أَكْبَرُ قَدْ بَيَّ نَّا لَ كُمُ ٱلْ ءَايَٰتِ إِن كُن تُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason.
3:65
يَٰٓ أَهْلَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ لِ مَ تُحَآجُّ ونَ فِىٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَ مَآ أُنزِلَتِ ٱل تَّوْرَىٰةُ وَ ٱلْ إِنجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِۦٓ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason?
40:67
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ كُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ كُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَشُدَّ كُمْ ثُمَّ لِ تَكُونُ وا۟ شُيُوخًا وَ مِن كُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبْلُ وَ لِ تَبْلُغُ وٓا۟ أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason.
43:3
إِنَّ ا جَعَلْ نَٰ هُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.
45:5
وَ ٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ ٱل نَّهَارِ وَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱل سَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزْقٍ فَ أَحْيَا بِ هِ ٱلْ أَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِ هَا وَ تَصْرِيفِ ٱل رِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّ قَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allah sends down from the sky of provision and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason.
49:4
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُ ونَ كَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلْ حُجُرَٰتِ أَكْثَرُ هُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
Indeed, those who call you, [O Muhammad], from behind the chambers - most of them do not use reason.
57:17
ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحْىِ ٱلْ أَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِ هَا قَدْ بَيَّ نَّا لَ كُمُ ٱلْ ءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs; perhaps you will understand.
59:14
لَا يُقَٰتِلُ ونَ كُمْ جَمِيعًا إِلَّا فِى قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَآءِ جُدُرٍۭ بَأْسُ هُم بَيْنَ هُمْ شَدِيدٌ تَحْسَبُ هُمْ جَمِيعًا وَ قُلُوبُ هُمْ شَتَّىٰ ذَٰلِكَ بِ أَنَّ هُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
They will not fight you all except within fortified cities or from behind walls. Their violence among themselves is severe. You think they are together, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not reason.
5:103
مَا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَحِيرَةٍ وَ لَا سَآئِبَةٍ وَ لَا وَصِيلَةٍ وَ لَا حَامٍ وَ لَٰكِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ يَفْتَرُ ونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْ كَذِبَ وَ أَكْثَرُ هُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
Allah has not appointed [such innovations as] bahirah or sa'ibah or wasilah or ham. But those who disbelieve invent falsehood about Allah, and most of them do not reason.
5:58
وَ إِذَا نَادَيْ تُمْ إِلَى ٱل صَّلَوٰةِ ٱتَّخَذُ و هَا هُزُوًا وَ لَعِبًا ذَٰلِكَ بِ أَنَّ هُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
And when you call to prayer, they take it in ridicule and amusement. That is because they are a people who do not use reason.
67:10
وَ قَالُ وا۟ لَوْ كُ نَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُ نَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱل سَّعِيرِ
And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."
6:151
قُلْ تَعَالَ وْا۟ أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّ كُمْ عَلَيْ كُمْ أَ لَّا تُشْرِكُ وا۟ بِ هِۦ شَيْـًٔا وَ بِ ٱلْ وَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَٰنًا وَ لَا تَقْتُلُ وٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَ كُم مِّنْ إِمْلَٰقٍ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُ كُمْ وَ إِيَّاهُمْ وَ لَا تَقْرَبُ وا۟ ٱلْ فَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْ هَا وَ مَا بَطَنَ وَ لَا تَقْتُلُ وا۟ ٱل نَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰ كُم بِ هِۦ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَعْقِلُ ونَ
Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."
6:32
وَ مَا ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَ لَهْوٌ وَ لَ ل دَّارُ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّ لَّذِينَ يَتَّقُ ونَ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?
7:169
فَ خَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِمْ خَلْفٌ وَرِثُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ يَأْخُذُ ونَ عَرَضَ هَٰذَا ٱلْ أَدْنَىٰ وَ يَقُولُ ونَ سَ يُغْفَرُ لَ نَا وَ إِن يَأْتِ هِمْ عَرَضٌ مِّثْلُ هُۥ يَأْخُذُ و هُ أَ لَمْ يُؤْخَذْ عَلَيْ هِم مِّيثَٰقُ ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ أَن لَّا يَقُولُ وا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْ حَقَّ وَ دَرَسُ وا۟ مَا فِي هِ وَ ٱل دَّارُ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّ لَّذِينَ يَتَّقُ ونَ أَ فَ لَا تَعْقِلُ ونَ
And there followed them successors who inherited the Scripture [while] taking the commodities of this lower life and saying, "It will be forgiven for us." And if an offer like it comes to them, they will [again] take it. Was not the covenant of the Scripture taken from them that they would not say about Allah except the truth, and they studied what was in it? And the home of the Hereafter is better for those who fear Allah, so will you not use reason?
8:22
إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱل دَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱل صُّمُّ ٱلْ بُكْمُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُ ونَ
Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason.
