10:45
وَ يَوْمَ يَحْشُرُ هُمْ كَ أَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُ وٓا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ ٱل نَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُ ونَ بَيْنَ هُمْ قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُ وا۟ بِ لِقَآءِ ٱللَّهِ وَ مَا كَانُ وا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ
And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided
10:95
وَ لَا تَكُونَ نَّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُ وا۟ بِ ـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَ تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers.
11:21
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ ضَلَّ عَنْ هُم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَفْتَرُ ونَ
Those are the ones who will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.
11:47
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّ ىٓ أَعُوذُ بِ كَ أَنْ أَسْـَٔلَ كَ مَا لَيْسَ لِ ى بِ هِۦ عِلْمٌ وَ إِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِ ى وَ تَرْحَمْ نِىٓ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
[Noah] said, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers."
12:14
قَالُ وا۟ لَ ئِنْ أَكَلَ هُ ٱل ذِّئْبُ وَ نَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّ آ إِذًا لَّ خَٰسِرُونَ
They said, "If a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers."
16:109
لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ هُمْ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers.
22:11
وَ مِنَ ٱل نَّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ حَرْفٍ فَ إِنْ أَصَابَ هُۥ خَيْرٌ ٱطْمَأَنَّ بِ هِۦ وَ إِنْ أَصَابَتْ هُ فِتْنَةٌ ٱنقَلَبَ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِ هِۦ خَسِرَ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةَ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْ خُسْرَانُ ٱلْ مُبِينُ
And of the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to the other direction]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss.
23:103
وَ مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُ هُۥ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ فِى جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدُونَ
But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally.
23:34
وَ لَ ئِنْ أَطَعْ تُم بَشَرًا مِّثْلَ كُمْ إِنَّ كُمْ إِذًا لَّ خَٰسِرُونَ
And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.
29:52
قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِ ٱللَّهِ بَيْنِ ى وَ بَيْنَ كُمْ شَهِيدًا يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ بَٰطِلِ وَ كَفَرُ وا۟ بِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and you as Witness. He knows what is in the heavens and earth. And they who have believed in falsehood and disbelieved in Allah - it is those who are the losers."
2:121
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْ نَٰ هُمُ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ يَتْلُ ونَ هُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِ هِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْمِنُ ونَ بِ هِۦ وَ مَن يَكْفُرْ بِ هِۦ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. They [are the ones who] believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it - it is they who are the losers.
2:27
ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُ ونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِ هِۦ وَ يَقْطَعُ ونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِ هِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَ يُفْسِدُ ونَ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.
2:64
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْ تُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَ لَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ كُمْ وَ رَحْمَتُ هُۥ لَ كُن تُم مِّنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
Then you turned away after that. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers.
39:15
فَ ٱعْبُدُ وا۟ مَا شِئْ تُم مِّن دُونِ هِۦ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ أَهْلِي هِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْ خُسْرَانُ ٱلْ مُبِينُ
So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss."
39:63
لَّ هُۥ مَقَالِيدُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ بِ ـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers.
39:65
وَ لَ قَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْ كَ وَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ كَ لَ ئِنْ أَشْرَكْ تَ لَ يَحْبَطَ نَّ عَمَلُ كَ وَ لَ تَكُونَ نَّ مِنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers."
3:149
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِن تُطِيعُ وا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ يَرُدُّ و كُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْقَٰبِ كُمْ فَ تَنقَلِبُ وا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ
O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers.
3:85
وَ مَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ ٱلْ إِسْلَٰمِ دِينًا فَ لَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْ هُ وَ هُوَ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
40:78
وَ لَ قَدْ أَرْسَلْ نَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِ كَ مِنْ هُم مَّن قَصَصْ نَا عَلَيْ كَ وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْ كَ وَ مَا كَانَ لِ رَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِ ـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِ إِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ فَ إِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ قُضِىَ بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ خَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْ مُبْطِلُونَ
And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all].
40:85
فَ لَمْ يَكُ يَنفَعُ هُمْ إِيمَٰنُ هُمْ لَمَّا رَأَ وْا۟ بَأْسَ نَا سُنَّتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى قَدْ خَلَتْ فِى عِبَادِ هِۦ وَ خَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرُونَ
But never did their faith benefit them once they saw Our punishment. [It is] the established way of Allah which has preceded among His servants. And the disbelievers thereupon lost [all].
41:23
وَ ذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّ كُمُ ٱلَّذِى ظَنَن تُم بِ رَبِّ كُمْ أَرْدَىٰ كُمْ فَ أَصْبَحْ تُم مِّنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers."
41:25
وَ قَيَّضْ نَا لَ هُمْ قُرَنَآءَ فَ زَيَّنُ وا۟ لَ هُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِي هِمْ وَ مَا خَلْفَ هُمْ وَ حَقَّ عَلَيْ هِمُ ٱلْ قَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِ هِم مِّنَ ٱلْ جِنِّ وَ ٱلْ إِنسِ إِنَّ هُمْ كَانُ وا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ
And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them [of sin], and the word has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.
42:45
وَ تَرَىٰ هُمْ يُعْرَضُ ونَ عَلَيْ هَا خَٰشِعِينَ مِنَ ٱل ذُّلِّ يَنظُرُ ونَ مِن طَرْفٍ خَفِىٍّ وَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ أَهْلِي هِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ فِى عَذَابٍ مُّقِيمٍ
And you will see them being exposed to the Fire, humbled from humiliation, looking from [behind] a covert glance. And those who had believed will say, "Indeed, the [true] losers are the ones who lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, the wrongdoers are in an enduring punishment."
45:27
وَ لِ لَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ يَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱل سَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ ٱلْ مُبْطِلُونَ
And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And the Day the Hour appears - that Day the falsifiers will lose.
46:18
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْ هِمُ ٱلْ قَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِ هِم مِّنَ ٱلْ جِنِّ وَ ٱلْ إِنسِ إِنَّ هُمْ كَانُ وا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ
Those are the ones upon whom the word has come into effect, [who will be] among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.
4:119
وَ لَ أُضِلَّ نَّ هُمْ وَ لَ أُمَنِّيَ نَّ هُمْ وَ لَ ءَامُرَ نَّ هُمْ فَ لَ يُبَتِّكُ نَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلْ أَنْعَٰمِ وَ لَ ءَامُرَ نَّ هُمْ فَ لَ يُغَيِّرُ نَّ خَلْقَ ٱللَّهِ وَ مَن يَتَّخِذِ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَ قَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا
And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss.
58:19
ٱسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْ هِمُ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ فَ أَنسَىٰ هُمْ ذِكْرَ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حِزْبُ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنِ أَلَآ إِنَّ حِزْبَ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنِ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allah. Those are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, the party of Satan - they will be the losers.
5:21
يَٰ قَوْمِ ٱدْخُلُ وا۟ ٱلْ أَرْضَ ٱلْ مُقَدَّسَةَ ٱلَّتِى كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَ كُمْ وَ لَا تَرْتَدُّ وا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِ كُمْ فَ تَنقَلِبُ وا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ
O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah 's cause] and [thus] become losers."
5:30
فَ طَوَّعَتْ لَ هُۥ نَفْسُ هُۥ قَتْلَ أَخِي هِ فَ قَتَلَ هُۥ فَ أَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers.
5:5
ٱلْ يَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَ كُمُ ٱل طَّيِّبَٰتُ وَ طَعَامُ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ حِلٌّ لَّ كُمْ وَ طَعَامُ كُمْ حِلٌّ لَّ هُمْ وَ ٱلْ مُحْصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ مُحْصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلِ كُمْ إِذَآ ءَاتَيْ تُمُو هُنَّ أُجُورَ هُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَٰفِحِينَ وَ لَا مُتَّخِذِىٓ أَخْدَانٍ وَ مَن يَكْفُرْ بِ ٱلْ إِيمَٰنِ فَ قَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُ هُۥ وَ هُوَ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
5:53
وَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ أَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُ وا۟ بِ ٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِ هِمْ إِنَّ هُمْ لَ مَعَ كُمْ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُ هُمْ فَ أَصْبَحُ وا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ
And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?" Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers.
63:9
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ لَا تُلْهِ كُمْ أَمْوَٰلُ كُمْ وَ لَآ أَوْلَٰدُ كُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَ مَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers.
6:12
قُل لِّ مَن مَّا فِى ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ قُل لِّ لَّهِ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِ هِ ٱل رَّحْمَةَ لَ يَجْمَعَ نَّ كُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِي هِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ فَ هُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ
Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To Allah." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe.
6:140
قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَتَلُ وٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَ هُمْ سَفَهًۢا بِ غَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَ حَرَّمُ وا۟ مَا رَزَقَ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱفْتِرَآءً عَلَى ٱللَّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّ وا۟ وَ مَا كَانُ وا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ
Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah. They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.
6:20
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْ نَٰ هُمُ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ يَعْرِفُ ونَ هُۥ كَ مَا يَعْرِفُ ونَ أَبْنَآءَ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ فَ هُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ
Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe.
6:31
قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُ وا۟ بِ لِقَآءِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَتْ هُمُ ٱل سَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُ وا۟ يَٰ حَسْرَتَ نَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطْ نَا فِي هَا وَ هُمْ يَحْمِلُ ونَ أَوْزَارَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِ هِمْ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُ ونَ
Those will have lost who deny the meeting with Allah, until when the Hour [of resurrection] comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Oh, [how great is] our regret over what we neglected concerning it," while they bear their burdens on their backs. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.
79:12
قَالُ وا۟ تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ
They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."
7:149
وَ لَمَّا سُقِطَ فِىٓ أَيْدِي هِمْ وَ رَأَ وْا۟ أَنَّ هُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّ وا۟ قَالُ وا۟ لَ ئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْ نَا رَبُّ نَا وَ يَغْفِرْ لَ نَا لَ نَكُونَ نَّ مِنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
And when regret overcame them and they saw that they had gone astray, they said, "If our Lord does not have mercy upon us and forgive us, we will surely be among the losers."
7:178
مَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَ هُوَ ٱلْ مُهْتَدِى وَ مَن يُضْلِلْ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Whoever Allah guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - it is those who are the losers.
7:23
قَالَ ا رَبَّ نَا ظَلَمْ نَآ أَنفُسَ نَا وَ إِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَ نَا وَ تَرْحَمْ نَا لَ نَكُونَ نَّ مِنَ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."
7:53
هَلْ يَنظُرُ ونَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيلَ هُۥ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى تَأْوِيلُ هُۥ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ نَسُ و هُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّ نَا بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ فَ هَل لَّ نَا مِن شُفَعَآءَ فَ يَشْفَعُ وا۟ لَ نَآ أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَ نَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُ نَّا نَعْمَلُ قَدْ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ ضَلَّ عَنْ هُم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَفْتَرُ ونَ
Do they await except its result? The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than we used to do?" They will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.
7:9
وَ مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُ هُۥ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ هُم بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ بِ ـَٔايَٰتِ نَا يَظْلِمُ ونَ
And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses.
7:90
وَ قَالَ ٱلْ مَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ مِن قَوْمِ هِۦ لَ ئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْ تُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّ كُمْ إِذًا لَّ خَٰسِرُونَ
Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, "If you should follow Shu'ayb, indeed, you would then be losers."
7:92
ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُ وا۟ شُعَيْبًا كَ أَن لَّمْ يَغْنَ وْا۟ فِي هَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُ وا۟ شُعَيْبًا كَانُ وا۟ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرِينَ
Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was as though they had never resided there. Those who denied Shu'ayb - it was they who were the losers.
7:99
أَ فَ أَمِنُ وا۟ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ فَ لَا يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْ قَوْمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
Then did they feel secure from the plan of Allah? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allah except the losing people.
8:37
لِ يَمِيزَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْ خَبِيثَ مِنَ ٱل طَّيِّبِ وَ يَجْعَلَ ٱلْ خَبِيثَ بَعْضَ هُۥ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فَ يَرْكُمَ هُۥ جَمِيعًا فَ يَجْعَلَ هُۥ فِى جَهَنَّمَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
[This is] so that Allah may distinguish the wicked from the good and place the wicked some of them upon others and heap them all together and put them into Hell. It is those who are the losers.
9:69
كَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ كُمْ كَانُ وٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِن كُمْ قُوَّةً وَ أَكْثَرَ أَمْوَٰلًا وَ أَوْلَٰدًا فَ ٱسْتَمْتَعُ وا۟ بِ خَلَٰقِ هِمْ فَ ٱسْتَمْتَعْ تُم بِ خَلَٰقِ كُمْ كَ مَا ٱسْتَمْتَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ كُم بِ خَلَٰقِ هِمْ وَ خُضْ تُمْ كَ ٱلَّذِى خَاضُ وٓا۟ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُ هُمْ فِى ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ وَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْ خَٰسِرُونَ
[You disbelievers are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their portion [of worldly enjoyment], and you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion, and you have engaged [in vanities] like that in which they engaged. [It is] those whose deeds have become worthless in this world and in the Hereafter, and it is they who are the losers.
