10:27
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُ وا۟ ٱل سَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةٍۭ بِ مِثْلِ هَا وَ تَرْهَقُ هُمْ ذِلَّةٌ مَّا لَ هُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ كَأَنَّ مَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُ هُمْ قِطَعًا مِّنَ ٱلَّ يْلِ مُظْلِمًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱل نَّارِ هُمْ فِي هَا خَٰلِدُونَ
But they who have earned [blame for] evil doings - the recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them. They will have from Allah no protector. It will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night - so dark [are they]. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
10:52
ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِ لَّذِينَ ظَلَمُ وا۟ ذُوقُ وا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْ خُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَ وْنَ إِلَّا بِ مَا كُن تُمْ تَكْسِبُ ونَ
Then it will be said to those who had wronged, "Taste the punishment of eternity; are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?"
10:8
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَأْوَىٰ هُمُ ٱل نَّارُ بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
For those their refuge will be the Fire because of what they used to earn.
111:2
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْ هُ مَالُ هُۥ وَ مَا كَسَبَ
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
13:33
أَ فَ مَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍۭ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ جَعَلُ وا۟ لِ لَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلْ سَمُّ و هُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّـُٔ ونَ هُۥ بِ مَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ أَم بِ ظَٰهِرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ قَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ مَكْرُ هُمْ وَ صُدُّ وا۟ عَنِ ٱل سَّبِيلِ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ مَا لَ هُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned, [like any other]? But to Allah they have attributed partners. Say, "Name them. Or do you inform Him of that which He knows not upon the earth or of what is apparent of speech?" Rather, their [own] plan has been made attractive to those who disbelieve, and they have been averted from the way. And whomever Allah leaves astray - there will be for him no guide.
13:42
وَ قَدْ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ هِمْ فَ لِ لَّهِ ٱلْ مَكْرُ جَمِيعًا يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ وَ سَ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْ كُفَّٰرُ لِ مَنْ عُقْبَى ٱل دَّارِ
And those before them had plotted, but to Allah belongs the plan entirely. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.
14:18
مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ بِ رَبِّ هِمْ أَعْمَٰلُ هُمْ كَ رَمَادٍ ٱشْتَدَّتْ بِ هِ ٱل رِّيحُ فِى يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ لَّا يَقْدِرُ ونَ مِ مَّا كَسَبُ وا۟ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱل ضَّلَٰلُ ٱلْ بَعِيدُ
The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.
14:51
لِ يَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْ حِسَابِ
So that Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.
15:84
فَ مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْ هُم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn.
18:58
وَ رَبُّ كَ ٱلْ غَفُورُ ذُو ٱل رَّحْمَةِ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ هُم بِ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ لَ عَجَّلَ لَ هُمُ ٱلْ عَذَابَ بَل لَّ هُم مَّوْعِدٌ لَّن يَجِدُ وا۟ مِن دُونِ هِۦ مَوْئِلًا
And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to impose blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment. Rather, for them is an appointment from which they will never find an escape.
2:134
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَ هَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ لَ كُم مَّا كَسَبْ تُمْ وَ لَا تُسْـَٔلُ ونَ عَ مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَعْمَلُ ونَ
That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
2:141
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَ هَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ لَ كُم مَّا كَسَبْ تُمْ وَ لَا تُسْـَٔلُ ونَ عَ مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَعْمَلُ ونَ
That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
2:202
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَ هُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّ مَّا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ ٱللَّهُ سَرِيعُ ٱلْ حِسَابِ
Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.
2:225
لَّا يُؤَاخِذُ كُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِ ٱل لَّغْوِ فِىٓ أَيْمَٰنِ كُمْ وَ لَٰكِن يُؤَاخِذُ كُم بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُ كُمْ وَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
2:264
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ لَا تُبْطِلُ وا۟ صَدَقَٰتِ كُم بِ ٱلْ مَنِّ وَ ٱلْ أَذَىٰ كَ ٱلَّذِى يُنفِقُ مَالَ هُۥ رِئَآءَ ٱل نَّاسِ وَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱلْ يَوْمِ ٱلْ ءَاخِرِ فَ مَثَلُ هُۥ كَ مَثَلِ صَفْوَانٍ عَلَيْ هِ تُرَابٌ فَ أَصَابَ هُۥ وَابِلٌ فَ تَرَكَ هُۥ صَلْدًا لَّا يَقْدِرُ ونَ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ مِّ مَّا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ ٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْ قَوْمَ ٱلْ كَٰفِرِينَ
O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
2:267
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وٓا۟ أَنفِقُ وا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا كَسَبْ تُمْ وَ مِ مَّآ أَخْرَجْ نَا لَ كُم مِّنَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ لَا تَيَمَّمُ وا۟ ٱلْ خَبِيثَ مِنْ هُ تُنفِقُ ونَ وَ لَسْ تُم بِ ـَٔاخِذِي هِ إِلَّآ أَن تُغْمِضُ وا۟ فِي هِ وَ ٱعْلَمُ وٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ
O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
2:281
وَ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُ ونَ فِي هِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly.
2:286
لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَ هَا لَ هَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ عَلَيْ هَا مَا ٱكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّ نَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْ نَآ إِن نَّسِي نَآ أَوْ أَخْطَأْ نَا رَبَّ نَا وَ لَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْ نَآ إِصْرًا كَ مَا حَمَلْ تَ هُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ نَا رَبَّ نَا وَ لَا تُحَمِّلْ نَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَ نَا بِ هِۦ وَ ٱعْفُ عَنَّ ا وَ ٱغْفِرْ لَ نَا وَ ٱرْحَمْ نَآ أَنتَ مَوْلَىٰ نَا فَ ٱنصُرْ نَا عَلَى ٱلْ قَوْمِ ٱلْ كَٰفِرِينَ
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."
2:79
فَ وَيْلٌ لِّ لَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُ ونَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ بِ أَيْدِي هِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ ونَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ لِ يَشْتَرُ وا۟ بِ هِۦ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَ وَيْلٌ لَّ هُم مِّ مَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِي هِمْ وَ وَيْلٌ لَّ هُم مِّ مَّا يَكْسِبُ ونَ
So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.
2:81
بَلَىٰ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةً وَ أَحَٰطَتْ بِ هِۦ خَطِيٓـَٔتُ هُۥ فَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱل نَّارِ هُمْ فِي هَا خَٰلِدُونَ
Yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
30:41
ظَهَرَ ٱلْ فَسَادُ فِى ٱلْ بَرِّ وَ ٱلْ بَحْرِ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِى ٱل نَّاسِ لِ يُذِيقَ هُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى عَمِلُ وا۟ لَعَلَّ هُمْ يَرْجِعُ ونَ
Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].
31:34
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَ هُۥ عِلْمُ ٱل سَّاعَةِ وَ يُنَزِّلُ ٱلْ غَيْثَ وَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلْ أَرْحَامِ وَ مَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌ مَّاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا وَ مَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌۢ بِ أَىِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌۢ
Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.
35:45
وَ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱل نَّاسَ بِ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِ هَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَ لَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُ هُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُ هُمْ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِ عِبَادِ هِۦ بَصِيرًۢا
And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.
36:65
ٱلْ يَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِ هِمْ وَ تُكَلِّمُ نَآ أَيْدِي هِمْ وَ تَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُ هُم بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
39:24
أَ فَ مَن يَتَّقِى بِ وَجْهِ هِۦ سُوٓءَ ٱلْ عَذَابِ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ وَ قِيلَ لِ ل ظَّٰلِمِينَ ذُوقُ وا۟ مَا كُن تُمْ تَكْسِبُ ونَ
Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn."
39:48
وَ بَدَا لَ هُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ حَاقَ بِ هِم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ بِ هِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُ ونَ
And there will appear to them the evils they had earned, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
39:50
قَدْ قَالَ هَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ هِمْ فَ مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْ هُم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.
39:51
فَ أَصَابَ هُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُ وا۟ مِنْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ سَ يُصِيبُ هُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ مَا هُم بِ مُعْجِزِينَ
And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be afflicted by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure.
3:155
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَوَلَّ وْا۟ مِن كُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْتَقَى ٱلْ جَمْعَانِ إِنَّ مَا ٱسْتَزَلَّ هُمُ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ بِ بَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ لَ قَدْ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنْ هُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
3:161
وَ مَا كَانَ لِ نَبِىٍّ أَن يَغُلَّ وَ مَن يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِ مَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
It is not [attributable] to any prophet that he would act unfaithfully [in regard to war booty]. And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection. Then will every soul be [fully] compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
3:25
فَ كَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْ نَٰ هُمْ لِ يَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِي هِ وَ وُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt? And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
40:17
ٱلْ يَوْمَ تُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ لَا ظُلْمَ ٱلْ يَوْمَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْ حِسَابِ
This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, Allah is swift in account.
40:82
أَ فَ لَمْ يَسِيرُ وا۟ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ فَ يَنظُرُ وا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِ هِمْ كَانُ وٓا۟ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ هُمْ وَ أَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَ ءَاثَارًا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ فَ مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْ هُم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.
41:17
وَ أَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَ هَدَيْ نَٰ هُمْ فَ ٱسْتَحَبُّ وا۟ ٱلْ عَمَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْ هُدَىٰ فَ أَخَذَتْ هُمْ صَٰعِقَةُ ٱلْ عَذَابِ ٱلْ هُونِ بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they used to earn.
42:22
تَرَى ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِ مَّا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ هُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِ هِمْ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ وَ عَمِلُ وا۟ ٱل صَّٰلِحَٰتِ فِى رَوْضَاتِ ٱلْ جَنَّاتِ لَ هُم مَّا يَشَآءُ ونَ عِندَ رَبِّ هِمْ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْ فَضْلُ ٱلْ كَبِيرُ
You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will [certainly] befall them. And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens [in Paradise] having whatever they will in the presence of their Lord. That is what is the great bounty.
42:30
وَ مَآ أَصَٰبَ كُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي كُمْ وَ يَعْفُوا۟ عَن كَثِيرٍ
And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.
42:34
أَوْ يُوبِقْ هُنَّ بِ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ وَ يَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ
Or He could destroy them for what they earned; but He pardons much.
45:10
مِّن وَرَآئِ هِمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَ لَا يُغْنِى عَنْ هُم مَّا كَسَبُ وا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَ لَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُ وا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment.
45:14
قُل لِّ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ يَغْفِرُ وا۟ لِ لَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُ ونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِ يَجْزِىَ قَوْمًۢا بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
Say, [O Muhammad], to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who expect not the days of Allah so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn.
45:22
وَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضَ بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ لِ تُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
And Allah created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.
4:111
وَ مَن يَكْسِبْ إِثْمًا فَ إِنَّ مَا يَكْسِبُ هُۥ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِ هِۦ وَ كَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا
And whoever commits a sin only earns it against himself. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
4:112
وَ مَن يَكْسِبْ خَطِيٓـَٔةً أَوْ إِثْمًا ثُمَّ يَرْمِ بِ هِۦ بَرِيٓـًٔا فَ قَدِ ٱحْتَمَلَ بُهْتَٰنًا وَ إِثْمًا مُّبِينًا
But whoever earns an offense or a sin and then blames it on an innocent [person] has taken upon himself a slander and manifest sin.
4:88
فَ مَا لَ كُمْ فِى ٱلْ مُنَٰفِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَ ٱللَّهُ أَرْكَسَ هُم بِ مَا كَسَبُ وٓا۟ أَ تُرِيدُ ونَ أَن تَهْدُ وا۟ مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ وَ مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَ لَن تَجِدَ لَ هُۥ سَبِيلًا
What is [the matter] with you [that you are] two groups concerning the hypocrites, while Allah has made them fall back [into error and disbelief] for what they earned. Do you wish to guide those whom Allah has sent astray? And he whom Allah sends astray - never will you find for him a way [of guidance].
52:21
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ وَ ٱتَّبَعَتْ هُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُ هُم بِ إِيمَٰنٍ أَلْحَقْ نَا بِ هِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَ هُمْ وَ مَآ أَلَتْ نَٰ هُم مِّنْ عَمَلِ هِم مِّن شَىْءٍ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۭ بِ مَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ
And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained.
5:38
وَ ٱل سَّارِقُ وَ ٱل سَّارِقَةُ فَ ٱقْطَعُ وٓا۟ أَيْدِيَ هُمَا جَزَآءًۢ بِ مَا كَسَبَ ا نَكَٰلًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
[As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
6:120
وَ ذَرُ وا۟ ظَٰهِرَ ٱلْ إِثْمِ وَ بَاطِنَ هُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُ ونَ ٱلْ إِثْمَ سَ يُجْزَ وْنَ بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَقْتَرِفُ ونَ
And leave what is apparent of sin and what is concealed thereof. Indeed, those who earn [blame for] sin will be recompensed for that which they used to commit.
6:129
وَ كَ ذَٰلِكَ نُوَلِّى بَعْضَ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ بَعْضًۢا بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
And thus will We make some of the wrongdoers allies of others for what they used to earn.
6:158
هَلْ يَنظُرُ ونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَ هُمُ ٱلْ مَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ رَبُّ كَ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ بَعْضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّ كَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى بَعْضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّ كَ لَا يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَٰنُ هَا لَمْ تَكُنْ ءَامَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِىٓ إِيمَٰنِ هَا خَيْرًا قُلِ ٱنتَظِرُ وٓا۟ إِنَّ ا مُنتَظِرُونَ
Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord? The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say, "Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting."
6:164
قُلْ أَ غَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبْغِى رَبًّا وَ هُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَ لَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْ هَا وَ لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّ كُم مَّرْجِعُ كُمْ فَ يُنَبِّئُ كُم بِ مَا كُن تُمْ فِي هِ تَخْتَلِفُ ونَ
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."
6:3
وَ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّ كُمْ وَ جَهْرَ كُمْ وَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ ونَ
And He is Allah, [the only deity] in the heavens and the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn.
6:70
وَ ذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُ وا۟ دِينَ هُمْ لَعِبًا وَ لَهْوًا وَ غَرَّتْ هُمُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ ذَكِّرْ بِ هِۦٓ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌۢ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَ هَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِىٌّ وَ لَا شَفِيعٌ وَ إِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لَّا يُؤْخَذْ مِنْ هَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُ وا۟ بِ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ لَ هُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْفُرُ ونَ
And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur'an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.
74:38
كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
7:39
وَ قَالَتْ أُولَىٰ هُمْ لِ أُخْرَىٰ هُمْ فَ مَا كَانَ لَ كُمْ عَلَيْ نَا مِن فَضْلٍ فَ ذُوقُ وا۟ ٱلْ عَذَابَ بِ مَا كُن تُمْ تَكْسِبُ ونَ
And the first of them will say to the last of them, "Then you had not any favor over us, so taste the punishment for what you used to earn."
7:96
وَ لَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْ قُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُ وا۟ وَ ٱتَّقَ وْا۟ لَ فَتَحْ نَا عَلَيْ هِم بَرَكَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱل سَّمَآءِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ لَٰكِن كَذَّبُ وا۟ فَ أَخَذْ نَٰ هُم بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning."
83:14
كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ هِم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.
9:82
فَ لْ يَضْحَكُ وا۟ قَلِيلًا وَ لْ يَبْكُ وا۟ كَثِيرًا جَزَآءًۢ بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn.
9:95
سَ يَحْلِفُ ونَ بِ ٱللَّهِ لَ كُمْ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبْ تُمْ إِلَيْ هِمْ لِ تُعْرِضُ وا۟ عَنْ هُمْ فَ أَعْرِضُ وا۟ عَنْ هُمْ إِنَّ هُمْ رِجْسٌ وَ مَأْوَىٰ هُمْ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَآءًۢ بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْسِبُ ونَ
They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them that you would leave them alone. So leave them alone; indeed they are evil; and their refuge is Hell as recompense for what they had been earning.
