10:11
وَ لَوْ يُعَجِّلُ ٱللَّهُ لِ ل نَّاسِ ٱل شَّرَّ ٱسْتِعْجَالَ هُم بِ ٱلْ خَيْرِ لَ قُضِىَ إِلَيْ هِمْ أَجَلُ هُمْ فَ نَذَرُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُ ونَ لِقَآءَ نَا فِى طُغْيَٰنِ هِمْ يَعْمَهُ ونَ
And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly
10:19
وَ مَا كَانَ ٱل نَّاسُ إِلَّآ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً فَ ٱخْتَلَفُ وا۟ وَ لَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّ كَ لَ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُمْ فِي مَا فِي هِ يَخْتَلِفُ ونَ
And mankind was not but one community [united in religion], but [then] they differed. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them [immediately] concerning that over which they differ.
10:47
وَ لِ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ فَ إِذَا جَآءَ رَسُولُ هُمْ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُم بِ ٱلْ قِسْطِ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged
10:54
وَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ لَ ٱفْتَدَتْ بِ هِۦ وَ أَسَرُّ وا۟ ٱل نَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَ وُا۟ ٱلْ عَذَابَ وَ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُم بِ ٱلْ قِسْطِ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
And if each soul that wronged had everything on earth, it would offer it in ransom. And they will confide regret when they see the punishment; and they will be judged in justice, and they will not be wronged
10:71
وَ ٱتْلُ عَلَيْ هِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِ قَوْمِ هِۦ يَٰ قَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْ كُم مَّقَامِ ى وَ تَذْكِيرِ ى بِ ـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْ تُ فَ أَجْمِعُ وٓا۟ أَمْرَ كُمْ وَ شُرَكَآءَ كُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُ كُمْ عَلَيْ كُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ ٱقْضُ وٓا۟ إِلَىَّ وَ لَا تُنظِرُ و نِ
And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you - then I have relied upon Allah. So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite.
10:93
وَ لَ قَدْ بَوَّأْ نَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدْقٍ وَ رَزَقْ نَٰ هُم مِّنَ ٱل طَّيِّبَٰتِ فَ مَا ٱخْتَلَفُ وا۟ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ هُمُ ٱلْ عِلْمُ إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَ هُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ فِي مَا كَانُ وا۟ فِي هِ يَخْتَلِفُ ونَ
And We had certainty settled the Children of Israel in an agreeable settlement and provided them with good things. And they did not differ until [after] knowledge had come to them. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ
11:110
وَ لَ قَدْ ءَاتَيْ نَا مُوسَى ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ فَ ٱخْتُلِفَ فِي هِ وَ لَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّ كَ لَ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ إِنَّ هُمْ لَ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْ هُ مُرِيبٍ
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them. And indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt.
11:44
وَ قِيلَ يَٰٓ أَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِ ى مَآءَ كِ وَ يَٰ سَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِ ى وَ غِيضَ ٱلْ مَآءُ وَ قُضِىَ ٱلْ أَمْرُ وَ ٱسْتَوَتْ عَلَى ٱلْ جُودِىِّ وَ قِيلَ بُعْدًا لِّ لْ قَوْمِ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ
And it was said, "O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]." And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and the ship came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy. And it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people."
12:41
يَٰ صَىٰحِبَ ىِ ٱل سِّجْنِ أَمَّآ أَحَدُ كُمَا فَ يَسْقِى رَبَّ هُۥ خَمْرًا وَ أَمَّا ٱلْ ءَاخَرُ فَ يُصْلَبُ فَ تَأْكُلُ ٱل طَّيْرُ مِن رَّأْسِ هِۦ قُضِىَ ٱلْ أَمْرُ ٱلَّذِى فِي هِ تَسْتَفْتِيَ انِ
O two companions of prison, as for one of you, he will give drink to his master of wine; but as for the other, he will be crucified, and the birds will eat from his head. The matter has been decreed about which you both inquire."
12:68
وَ لَمَّا دَخَلُ وا۟ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَ هُمْ أَبُو هُم مَّا كَانَ يُغْنِى عَنْ هُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا حَاجَةً فِى نَفْسِ يَعْقُوبَ قَضَىٰ هَا وَ إِنَّ هُۥ لَ ذُو عِلْمٍ لِّ مَا عَلَّمْ نَٰ هُ وَ لَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱل نَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُ ونَ
And when they entered from where their father had ordered them, it did not avail them against Allah at all except [it was] a need within the soul of Jacob, which he satisfied. And indeed, he was a possessor of knowledge because of what We had taught him, but most of the people do not know.
14:22
وَ قَالَ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنُ لَمَّا قُضِىَ ٱلْ أَمْرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَعَدَ كُمْ وَعْدَ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ وَعَد تُّ كُمْ فَ أَخْلَفْ تُ كُمْ وَ مَا كَانَ لِ ىَ عَلَيْ كُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍ إِلَّآ أَن دَعَوْ تُ كُمْ فَ ٱسْتَجَبْ تُمْ لِ ى فَ لَا تَلُومُ و نِى وَ لُومُ وٓا۟ أَنفُسَ كُم مَّآ أَنَا۠ بِ مُصْرِخِ كُمْ وَ مَآ أَنتُم بِ مُصْرِخِىَّ إِنِّ ى كَفَرْ تُ بِ مَآ أَشْرَكْ تُمُو نِ مِن قَبْلُ إِنَّ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."
15:66
وَ قَضَيْ نَآ إِلَيْ هِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْ أَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.
17:23
وَ قَضَىٰ رَبُّ كَ أَ لَّا تَعْبُدُ وٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ وَ بِ ٱلْ وَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَٰنًا إِمَّا يَبْلُغَ نَّ عِندَ كَ ٱلْ كِبَرَ أَحَدُ هُمَآ أَوْ كِلَا هُمَا فَ لَا تَقُل لَّ هُمَآ أُفٍّ وَ لَا تَنْهَرْ هُمَا وَ قُل لَّ هُمَا قَوْلًا كَرِيمًا
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.
17:4
وَ قَضَيْ نَآ إِلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ فِى ٱلْ كِتَٰبِ لَ تُفْسِدُ نَّ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَ لَ تَعْلُ نَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا
And We conveyed to the Children of Israel in the Scripture that, "You will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness.
19:21
قَالَ كَ ذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّ كِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ وَ لِ نَجْعَلَ هُۥٓ ءَايَةً لِّ ل نَّاسِ وَ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّ ا وَ كَانَ أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا
He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' "
19:35
مَا كَانَ لِ لَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ سُبْحَٰنَ هُۥٓ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَ إِنَّ مَا يَقُولُ لَ هُۥ كُن فَ يَكُونُ
It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.
19:39
وَ أَنذِرْ هُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْ حَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِىَ ٱلْ أَمْرُ وَ هُمْ فِى غَفْلَةٍ وَ هُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ
And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.
19:71
وَ إِن مِّن كُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُ هَا كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّ كَ حَتْمًا مَّقْضِيًّا
And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.
20:114
فَ تَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْ مَلِكُ ٱلْ حَقُّ وَ لَا تَعْجَلْ بِ ٱلْ قُرْءَانِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَىٰٓ إِلَيْ كَ وَحْيُ هُۥ وَ قُل رَّبِّ زِدْ نِى عِلْمًا
So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
20:72
قَالُ وا۟ لَن نُّؤْثِرَ كَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَآءَ نَا مِنَ ٱلْ بَيِّنَٰتِ وَ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَ نَا فَ ٱقْضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٍ إِنَّ مَا تَقْضِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةَ ٱل دُّنْيَآ
They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.
22:29
ثُمَّ لْ يَقْضُ وا۟ تَفَثَ هُمْ وَ لْ يُوفُ وا۟ نُذُورَ هُمْ وَ لْ يَطَّوَّفُ وا۟ بِ ٱلْ بَيْتِ ٱلْ عَتِيقِ
Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform Tawaf around the ancient House."
27:78
إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَ هُم بِ حُكْمِ هِۦ وَ هُوَ ٱلْ عَزِيزُ ٱلْ عَلِيمُ
Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
28:15
وَ دَخَلَ ٱلْ مَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِ هَا فَ وَجَدَ فِي هَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَ انِ هَٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِ هِۦ وَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّ هِۦ فَ ٱسْتَغَٰثَ هُ ٱلَّذِى مِن شِيعَتِ هِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِى مِنْ عَدُوِّ هِۦ فَ وَكَزَ هُۥ مُوسَىٰ فَ قَضَىٰ عَلَيْ هِ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنِ إِنَّ هُۥ عَدُوٌّ مُّضِلٌّ مُّبِينٌ
And he entered the city at a time of inattention by its people and found therein two men fighting: one from his faction and one from among his enemy. And the one from his faction called for help to him against the one from his enemy, so Moses struck him and [unintentionally] killed him. [Moses] said, "This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy."
28:28
قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيْنِ ى وَ بَيْنَ كَ أَيَّ مَا ٱلْ أَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْ تُ فَ لَا عُدْوَٰنَ عَلَىَّ وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ
[Moses] said, "That is [established] between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete - there is no injustice to me, and Allah, over what we say, is Witness."
28:29
فَ لَمَّا قَضَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلْ أَجَلَ وَ سَارَ بِ أَهْلِ هِۦٓ ءَانَسَ مِن جَانِبِ ٱل طُّورِ نَارًا قَالَ لِ أَهْلِ هِ ٱمْكُثُ وٓا۟ إِنِّ ىٓ ءَانَسْ تُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّ ىٓ ءَاتِي كُم مِّنْ هَا بِ خَبَرٍ أَوْ جَذْوَةٍ مِّنَ ٱل نَّارِ لَعَلَّ كُمْ تَصْطَلُ ونَ
And when Moses had completed the term and was traveling with his family, he perceived from the direction of the mount a fire. He said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire. Perhaps I will bring you from there [some] information or burning wood from the fire that you may warm yourselves."
28:44
وَ مَا كُن تَ بِ جَانِبِ ٱلْ غَرْبِىِّ إِذْ قَضَيْ نَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلْ أَمْرَ وَ مَا كُن تَ مِنَ ٱل شَّٰهِدِينَ
And you, [O Muhammad], were not on the western side [of the mount] when We revealed to Moses the command, and you were not among the witnesses [to that].
2:117
بَدِيعُ ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَ إِنَّ مَا يَقُولُ لَ هُۥ كُن فَ يَكُونُ
Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.
2:200
فَ إِذَا قَضَيْ تُم مَّنَٰسِكَ كُمْ فَ ٱذْكُرُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَ ذِكْرِ كُمْ ءَابَآءَ كُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَ مِنَ ٱل نَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّ نَآ ءَاتِ نَا فِى ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ مَا لَ هُۥ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٰقٍ
And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah like your [previous] remembrance of your fathers or with [much] greater remembrance. And among the people is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world," and he will have in the Hereafter no share.
2:210
هَلْ يَنظُرُ ونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِيَ هُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ظُلَلٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ غَمَامِ وَ ٱلْ مَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَ قُضِىَ ٱلْ أَمْرُ وَ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْ أُمُورُ
Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided? And to Allah [all] matters are returned.
33:23
مِّنَ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُ وا۟ مَا عَٰهَدُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْ هِ فَ مِنْ هُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَ هُۥ وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَ مَا بَدَّلُ وا۟ تَبْدِيلًا
Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration -
33:36
وَ مَا كَانَ لِ مُؤْمِنٍ وَ لَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى ٱللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُ هُۥٓ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَ هُمُ ٱلْ خِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِ هِمْ وَ مَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَ هُۥ فَ قَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلًا مُّبِينًا
It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.
33:37
وَ إِذْ تَقُولُ لِ لَّذِىٓ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْ هِ وَ أَنْعَمْ تَ عَلَيْ هِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْ كَ زَوْجَ كَ وَ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ وَ تُخْفِى فِى نَفْسِ كَ مَا ٱللَّهُ مُبْدِي هِ وَ تَخْشَى ٱل نَّاسَ وَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَىٰ هُ فَ لَمَّا قَضَىٰ زَيْدٌ مِّنْ هَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْ نَٰ كَ هَا لِ كَىْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِىٓ أَزْوَٰجِ أَدْعِيَآئِ هِمْ إِذَا قَضَ وْا۟ مِنْ هُنَّ وَطَرًا وَ كَانَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا
And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished.
34:14
فَ لَمَّا قَضَيْ نَا عَلَيْ هِ ٱلْ مَوْتَ مَا دَلَّ هُمْ عَلَىٰ مَوْتِ هِۦٓ إِلَّا دَآبَّةُ ٱلْ أَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَ هُۥ فَ لَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ ٱلْ جِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُ وا۟ يَعْلَمُ ونَ ٱلْ غَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُ وا۟ فِى ٱلْ عَذَابِ ٱلْ مُهِينِ
And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.
35:36
وَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ لَ هُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْ هِمْ فَ يَمُوتُ وا۟ وَ لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ هَا كَ ذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى كُلَّ كَفُورٍ
And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every ungrateful one.
39:42
ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلْ أَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِ هَا وَ ٱلَّتِى لَمْ تَمُتْ فِى مَنَامِ هَا فَ يُمْسِكُ ٱلَّتِى قَضَىٰ عَلَيْ هَا ٱلْ مَوْتَ وَ يُرْسِلُ ٱلْ أُخْرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَ ءَايَٰتٍ لِّ قَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُ ونَ
Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.
39:69
وَ أَشْرَقَتِ ٱلْ أَرْضُ بِ نُورِ رَبِّ هَا وَ وُضِعَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبُ وَ جِا۟ىٓءَ بِ ٱل نَّبِيِّۦنَ وَ ٱل شُّهَدَآءِ وَ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُم بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ هُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُ ونَ
And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.
39:75
وَ تَرَى ٱلْ مَلَٰٓئِكَةَ حَآفِّينَ مِنْ حَوْلِ ٱلْ عَرْشِ يُسَبِّحُ ونَ بِ حَمْدِ رَبِّ هِمْ وَ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُم بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ قِيلَ ٱلْ حَمْدُ لِ لَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْ عَٰلَمِينَ
And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [Allah] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, "[All] praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds."
3:47
قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِ ى وَلَدٌ وَ لَمْ يَمْسَسْ نِى بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَ ذَٰلِكِ ٱللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَ إِنَّ مَا يَقُولُ لَ هُۥ كُن فَ يَكُونُ
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.
40:20
وَ ٱللَّهُ يَقْضِى بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُ ونَ مِن دُونِ هِۦ لَا يَقْضُ ونَ بِ شَىْءٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱل سَّمِيعُ ٱلْ بَصِيرُ
And Allah judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him judge not with anything. Indeed, Allah - He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
40:68
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَ يُمِيتُ فَ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَ إِنَّ مَا يَقُولُ لَ هُۥ كُن فَ يَكُونُ
He it is who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, "Be," and it is.
40:78
وَ لَ قَدْ أَرْسَلْ نَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِ كَ مِنْ هُم مَّن قَصَصْ نَا عَلَيْ كَ وَ مِنْ هُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْ كَ وَ مَا كَانَ لِ رَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِ ـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِ إِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ فَ إِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ قُضِىَ بِ ٱلْ حَقِّ وَ خَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْ مُبْطِلُونَ
And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all].
41:12
فَ قَضَىٰ هُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَاتٍ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ وَ أَوْحَىٰ فِى كُلِّ سَمَآءٍ أَمْرَ هَا وَ زَيَّ نَّا ٱل سَّمَآءَ ٱل دُّنْيَا بِ مَصَٰبِيحَ وَ حِفْظًا ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْ عَزِيزِ ٱلْ عَلِيمِ
And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
41:45
وَ لَ قَدْ ءَاتَيْ نَا مُوسَى ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ فَ ٱخْتُلِفَ فِي هِ وَ لَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّ كَ لَ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ إِنَّ هُمْ لَ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْ هُ مُرِيبٍ
And We had already given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt.
42:14
وَ مَا تَفَرَّقُ وٓا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَ هُمُ ٱلْ عِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ لَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّ كَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُورِثُ وا۟ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ هِمْ لَ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْ هُ مُرِيبٍ
And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord [postponing the penalty] until a specified time, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, those who were granted inheritance of the Scripture after them are, concerning it, in disquieting doubt.
42:21
أَمْ لَ هُمْ شُرَكَٰٓؤُا۟ شَرَعُ وا۟ لَ هُم مِّنَ ٱل دِّينِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَنۢ بِ هِ ٱللَّهُ وَ لَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ ٱلْ فَصْلِ لَ قُضِىَ بَيْنَ هُمْ وَ إِنَّ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented? But if not for the decisive word, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment.
43:77
وَ نَادَ وْا۟ يَٰ مَٰلِكُ لِ يَقْضِ عَلَيْ نَا رَبُّ كَ قَالَ إِنَّ كُم مَّٰكِثُونَ
And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain."
45:17
وَ ءَاتَيْ نَٰ هُم بَيِّنَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْ أَمْرِ فَ مَا ٱخْتَلَفُ وٓا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَ هُمُ ٱلْ عِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَ هُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّ كَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَ هُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْ قِيَٰمَةِ فِي مَا كَانُ وا۟ فِي هِ يَخْتَلِفُ ونَ
And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
46:29
وَ إِذْ صَرَفْ نَآ إِلَيْ كَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ ٱلْ جِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُ ونَ ٱلْ قُرْءَانَ فَ لَمَّا حَضَرُ و هُ قَالُ وٓا۟ أَنصِتُ وا۟ فَ لَمَّا قُضِىَ وَلَّ وْا۟ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِ هِم مُّنذِرِينَ
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.
4:103
فَ إِذَا قَضَيْ تُمُ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ فَ ٱذْكُرُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمًا وَ قُعُودًا وَ عَلَىٰ جُنُوبِ كُمْ فَ إِذَا ٱطْمَأْنَن تُمْ فَ أَقِيمُ وا۟ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ إِنَّ ٱل صَّلَوٰةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى ٱلْ مُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَٰبًا مَّوْقُوتًا
And when you have completed the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting, or [lying] on your sides. But when you become secure, re-establish [regular] prayer. Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.
4:65
فَ لَا وَ رَبِّ كَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ ونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُ و كَ فِي مَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَ هُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُ وا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِ هِمْ حَرَجًا مِّ مَّا قَضَيْ تَ وَ يُسَلِّمُ وا۟ تَسْلِيمًا
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.
62:10
فَ إِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱل صَّلَوٰةُ فَ ٱنتَشِرُ وا۟ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ وَ ٱبْتَغُ وا۟ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٱذْكُرُ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّ كُمْ تُفْلِحُ ونَ
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed.
69:27
يَٰ لَيْتَ هَا كَانَتِ ٱلْ قَاضِيَةَ
I wish my death had been the decisive one.
6:2
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ كُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلًا وَ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى عِندَ هُۥ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُ ونَ
It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time [known] to Him; then [still] you are in dispute.
6:58
قُل لَّوْ أَنَّ عِندِ ى مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُ ونَ بِ هِۦ لَ قُضِىَ ٱلْ أَمْرُ بَيْنِ ى وَ بَيْنَ كُمْ وَ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ
Say, "If I had that for which you are impatient, the matter would have been decided between me and you, but Allah is most knowing of the wrongdoers."
6:60
وَ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَتَوَفَّىٰ كُم بِ ٱلَّ يْلِ وَ يَعْلَمُ مَا جَرَحْ تُم بِ ٱل نَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ كُمْ فِي هِ لِ يُقْضَىٰٓ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ إِلَيْ هِ مَرْجِعُ كُمْ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُ كُم بِ مَا كُن تُمْ تَعْمَلُ ونَ
And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.
6:8
وَ قَالُ وا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْ هِ مَلَكٌ وَ لَوْ أَنزَلْ نَا مَلَكًا لَّ قُضِىَ ٱلْ أَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُ ونَ
And they say, "Why was there not sent down to him an angel?" But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided; then they would not be reprieved.
80:23
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقْضِ مَآ أَمَرَ هُۥ
No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.
8:42
إِذْ أَنتُم بِ ٱلْ عُدْوَةِ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ هُم بِ ٱلْ عُدْوَةِ ٱلْ قُصْوَىٰ وَ ٱل رَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِن كُمْ وَ لَوْ تَوَاعَد تُّمْ لَ ٱخْتَلَفْ تُمْ فِى ٱلْ مِيعَٰدِ وَ لَٰكِن لِّ يَقْضِىَ ٱللَّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولًا لِّ يَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَنۢ بَيِّنَةٍ وَ يَحْيَىٰ مَنْ حَىَّ عَنۢ بَيِّنَةٍ وَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
[Remember] when you were on the near side of the valley, and they were on the farther side, and the caravan was lower [in position] than you. If you had made an appointment [to meet], you would have missed the appointment. But [it was] so that Allah might accomplish a matter already destined - that those who perished [through disbelief] would perish upon evidence and those who lived [in faith] would live upon evidence; and indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
8:44
وَ إِذْ يُرِي كُمُو هُمْ إِذِ ٱلْتَقَيْ تُمْ فِىٓ أَعْيُنِ كُمْ قَلِيلًا وَ يُقَلِّلُ كُمْ فِىٓ أَعْيُنِ هِمْ لِ يَقْضِىَ ٱللَّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولًا وَ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْ أُمُورُ
And [remember] when He showed them to you, when you met, as few in your eyes, and He made you [appear] as few in their eyes so that Allah might accomplish a matter already destined. And to Allah are [all] matters returned.
