31:33
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل نَّاسُ ٱتَّقُ وا۟ رَبَّ كُمْ وَ ٱخْشَ وْا۟ يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِى وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِ هِۦ وَ لَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِ هِۦ شَيْـًٔا إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَ لَا تَغُرَّ نَّ كُمُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ لَا يَغُرَّ نَّ كُم بِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْ غَرُورُ
O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.
35:5
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱل نَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَ لَا تَغُرَّ نَّ كُمُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ لَا يَغُرَّ نَّ كُم بِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْ غَرُورُ
O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.
3:196
لَا يَغُرَّ نَّ كَ تَقَلُّبُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ فِى ٱلْ بِلَٰدِ
Be not deceived by the [uninhibited] movement of the disbelievers throughout the land.
3:24
ذَٰلِكَ بِ أَنَّ هُمْ قَالُ وا۟ لَن تَمَسَّ نَا ٱل نَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ وَ غَرَّ هُمْ فِى دِينِ هِم مَّا كَانُ وا۟ يَفْتَرُ ونَ
That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.
40:4
مَا يُجَٰدِلُ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ فَ لَا يَغْرُرْ كَ تَقَلُّبُ هُمْ فِى ٱلْ بِلَٰدِ
No one disputes concerning the signs of Allah except those who disbelieve, so be not deceived by their [uninhibited] movement throughout the land.
45:35
ذَٰلِكُم بِ أَنَّ كُمُ ٱتَّخَذْ تُمْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَ غَرَّتْ كُمُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَا فَ ٱلْ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُ ونَ مِنْ هَا وَ لَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُ ونَ
That is because you took the verses of Allah in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].
57:14
يُنَادُ ونَ هُمْ أَ لَمْ نَكُن مَّعَ كُمْ قَالُ وا۟ بَلَىٰ وَ لَٰكِنَّ كُمْ فَتَن تُمْ أَنفُسَ كُمْ وَ تَرَبَّصْ تُمْ وَ ٱرْتَبْ تُمْ وَ غَرَّتْ كُمُ ٱلْ أَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَ غَرَّ كُم بِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْ غَرُورُ
The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah.
6:130
يَٰ مَعْشَرَ ٱلْ جِنِّ وَ ٱلْ إِنسِ أَ لَمْ يَأْتِ كُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّن كُمْ يَقُصُّ ونَ عَلَيْ كُمْ ءَايَٰتِ ى وَ يُنذِرُ ونَ كُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِ كُمْ هَٰذَا قَالُ وا۟ شَهِدْ نَا عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِ نَا وَ غَرَّتْ هُمُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ شَهِدُ وا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِ هِمْ أَنَّ هُمْ كَانُ وا۟ كَٰفِرِينَ
"O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
6:70
وَ ذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُ وا۟ دِينَ هُمْ لَعِبًا وَ لَهْوًا وَ غَرَّتْ هُمُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَا وَ ذَكِّرْ بِ هِۦٓ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌۢ بِ مَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَ هَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِىٌّ وَ لَا شَفِيعٌ وَ إِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لَّا يُؤْخَذْ مِنْ هَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُ وا۟ بِ مَا كَسَبُ وا۟ لَ هُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِ مَا كَانُ وا۟ يَكْفُرُ ونَ
And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur'an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.
7:51
ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُ وا۟ دِينَ هُمْ لَهْوًا وَ لَعِبًا وَ غَرَّتْ هُمُ ٱلْ حَيَوٰةُ ٱل دُّنْيَا فَ ٱلْ يَوْمَ نَنسَىٰ هُمْ كَ مَا نَسُ وا۟ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِ هِمْ هَٰذَا وَ مَا كَانُ وا۟ بِ ـَٔايَٰتِ نَا يَجْحَدُ ونَ
Who took their religion as distraction and amusement and whom the worldly life deluded." So today We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this Day of theirs and for having rejected Our verses.
82:6
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلْ إِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّ كَ بِ رَبِّ كَ ٱلْ كَرِيمِ
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
8:49
إِذْ يَقُولُ ٱلْ مُنَٰفِقُونَ وَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِ هِم مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ دِينُ هُمْ وَ مَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
[Remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said, "Their religion has deluded those [Muslims]." But whoever relies upon Allah - then indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
