10:106
وَ لَا تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُ كَ وَ لَا يَضُرُّ كَ فَ إِن فَعَلْ تَ فَ إِنَّ كَ إِذًا مِّنَ ٱل ظَّٰلِمِينَ
And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers.'"
10:18
وَ يَعْبُدُ ونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّ هُمْ وَ لَا يَنفَعُ هُمْ وَ يَقُولُ ونَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ شُفَعَٰٓؤُ نَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ قُلْ أَ تُنَبِّـُٔ ونَ ٱللَّهَ بِ مَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱل سَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَ لَا فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ سُبْحَٰنَ هُۥ وَ تَعَٰلَىٰ عَ مَّا يُشْرِكُ ونَ
And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah " Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him
11:57
فَ إِن تَوَلَّ وْا۟ فَ قَدْ أَبْلَغْ تُ كُم مَّآ أُرْسِلْ تُ بِ هِۦٓ إِلَيْ كُمْ وَ يَسْتَخْلِفُ رَبِّ ى قَوْمًا غَيْرَ كُمْ وَ لَا تَضُرُّ ونَ هُۥ شَيْـًٔا إِنَّ رَبِّ ى عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَفِيظٌ
But if they turn away, [say], "I have already conveyed that with which I was sent to you. My Lord will give succession to a people other than you, and you will not harm Him at all. Indeed my Lord is, over all things, Guardian."
21:66
قَالَ أَ فَ تَعْبُدُ ونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُ كُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَ لَا يَضُرُّ كُمْ
He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you?
22:12
يَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّ هُۥ وَ مَا لَا يَنفَعُ هُۥ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱل ضَّلَٰلُ ٱلْ بَعِيدُ
He invokes instead of Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is what is the extreme error.
25:55
وَ يَعْبُدُ ونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُ هُمْ وَ لَا يَضُرُّ هُمْ وَ كَانَ ٱلْ كَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّ هِۦ ظَهِيرًا
But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan].
26:73
أَوْ يَنفَعُ ونَ كُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّ ونَ
Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?"
2:102
وَ ٱتَّبَعُ وا۟ مَا تَتْلُوا۟ ٱل شَّيَٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَ مَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَٰنُ وَ لَٰكِنَّ ٱل شَّيَٰطِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ يُعَلِّمُ ونَ ٱل نَّاسَ ٱل سِّحْرَ وَ مَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلْ مَلَكَيْنِ بِ بَابِلَ هَٰرُوتَ وَ مَٰرُوتَ وَ مَا يُعَلِّمَ انِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ آ إِنَّ مَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَ لَا تَكْفُرْ فَ يَتَعَلَّمُ ونَ مِنْ هُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُ ونَ بِ هِۦ بَيْنَ ٱلْ مَرْءِ وَ زَوْجِ هِۦ وَ مَا هُم بِ ضَآرِّينَ بِ هِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِ إِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَ يَتَعَلَّمُ ونَ مَا يَضُرُّ هُمْ وَ لَا يَنفَعُ هُمْ وَ لَ قَدْ عَلِمُ وا۟ لَ مَنِ ٱشْتَرَىٰ هُ مَا لَ هُۥ فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٰقٍ وَ لَ بِئْسَ مَا شَرَ وْا۟ بِ هِۦٓ أَنفُسَ هُمْ لَوْ كَانُ وا۟ يَعْلَمُ ونَ
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.
3:111
لَن يَضُرُّ و كُمْ إِلَّآ أَذًى وَ إِن يُقَٰتِلُ و كُمْ يُوَلُّ و كُمُ ٱلْ أَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُ ونَ
They will not harm you except for [some] annoyance. And if they fight you, they will show you their backs; then they will not be aided.
3:120
إِن تَمْسَسْ كُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْ هُمْ وَ إِن تُصِبْ كُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُ وا۟ بِ هَا وَ إِن تَصْبِرُ وا۟ وَ تَتَّقُ وا۟ لَا يَضُرُّ كُمْ كَيْدُ هُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِ مَا يَعْمَلُ ونَ مُحِيطٌ
If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.
3:144
وَ مَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِ هِ ٱل رُّسُلُ أَ فَ إِي۟ن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ ٱنقَلَبْ تُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْقَٰبِ كُمْ وَ مَن يَنقَلِبْ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْ هِ فَ لَن يَضُرَّ ٱللَّهَ شَيْـًٔا وَ سَ يَجْزِى ٱللَّهُ ٱل شَّٰكِرِينَ
Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful.
3:176
وَ لَا يَحْزُن كَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسَٰرِعُ ونَ فِى ٱلْ كُفْرِ إِنَّ هُمْ لَن يَضُرُّ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ شَيْـًٔا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَ لَّا يَجْعَلَ لَ هُمْ حَظًّا فِى ٱلْ ءَاخِرَةِ وَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
And do not be grieved, [O Muhammad], by those who hasten into disbelief. Indeed, they will never harm Allah at all. Allah intends that He should give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.
3:177
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَ وُا۟ ٱلْ كُفْرَ بِ ٱلْ إِيمَٰنِ لَن يَضُرُّ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ شَيْـًٔا وَ لَ هُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Indeed, those who purchase disbelief [in exchange] for faith - never will they harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment.
47:32
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُ وا۟ وَ صَدُّ وا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَ شَآقُّ وا۟ ٱل رَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَ هُمُ ٱلْ هُدَىٰ لَن يَضُرُّ وا۟ ٱللَّهَ شَيْـًٔا وَ سَ يُحْبِطُ أَعْمَٰلَ هُمْ
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds.
4:113
وَ لَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ كَ وَ رَحْمَتُ هُۥ لَ هَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ هُمْ أَن يُضِلُّ و كَ وَ مَا يُضِلُّ ونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَ هُمْ وَ مَا يَضُرُّ ونَ كَ مِن شَىْءٍ وَ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْ كَ ٱلْ كِتَٰبَ وَ ٱلْ حِكْمَةَ وَ عَلَّمَ كَ مَا لَمْ تَكُن تَعْلَمُ وَ كَانَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْ كَ عَظِيمًا
And if it was not for the favor of Allah upon you, [O Muhammad], and His mercy, a group of them would have determined to mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they will not harm you at all. And Allah has revealed to you the Book and wisdom and has taught you that which you did not know. And ever has the favor of Allah upon you been great.
58:10
إِنَّ مَا ٱل نَّجْوَىٰ مِنَ ٱل شَّيْطَٰنِ لِ يَحْزُنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ وَ لَيْسَ بِ ضَآرِّ هِمْ شَيْـًٔا إِلَّا بِ إِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَ لْ يَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْ مُؤْمِنُونَ
Private conversation is only from Satan that he may grieve those who have believed, but he will not harm them at all except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.
5:105
يَٰٓ أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُ وا۟ عَلَيْ كُمْ أَنفُسَ كُمْ لَا يَضُرُّ كُم مَّن ضَلَّ إِذَا ٱهْتَدَيْ تُمْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرْجِعُ كُمْ جَمِيعًا فَ يُنَبِّئُ كُم بِ مَا كُن تُمْ تَعْمَلُ ونَ
O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allah is you return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do.
5:42
سَمَّٰعُونَ لِ لْ كَذِبِ أَكَّٰلُونَ لِ ل سُّحْتِ فَ إِن جَآءُ و كَ فَ ٱحْكُم بَيْنَ هُمْ أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْ هُمْ وَ إِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْ هُمْ فَ لَن يَضُرُّ و كَ شَيْـًٔا وَ إِنْ حَكَمْ تَ فَ ٱحْكُم بَيْنَ هُم بِ ٱلْ قِسْطِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْ مُقْسِطِينَ
[They are] avid listeners to falsehood, devourers of [what is] unlawful. So if they come to you, [O Muhammad], judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them - never will they harm you at all. And if you judge, judge between them with justice. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
6:71
قُلْ أَ نَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُ نَا وَ لَا يَضُرُّ نَا وَ نُرَدُّ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْقَابِ نَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَىٰ نَا ٱللَّهُ كَ ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَهْوَتْ هُ ٱل شَّيَٰطِينُ فِى ٱلْ أَرْضِ حَيْرَانَ لَ هُۥٓ أَصْحَٰبٌ يَدْعُ ونَ هُۥٓ إِلَى ٱلْ هُدَى ٱئْتِ نَا قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلْ هُدَىٰ وَ أُمِرْ نَا لِ نُسْلِمَ لِ رَبِّ ٱلْ عَٰلَمِينَ
Say, "Shall we invoke instead of Allah that which neither benefits us nor harms us and be turned back on our heels after Allah has guided us? [We would then be] like one whom the devils enticed [to wander] upon the earth confused, [while] he has companions inviting him to guidance, [calling], 'Come to us.' " Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance; and we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds.
9:39
إِلَّا تَنفِرُ وا۟ يُعَذِّبْ كُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَ يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَ كُمْ وَ لَا تَضُرُّ و هُ شَيْـًٔا وَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent.
